Fresh seafood cooked to order always delicious.Definitely my favorite seafood place . Once you've tried it nothing else compares .

Best Lobster Roll I ate during my 1 Week Maine vacation! Lovely picnic table seating. The option to drive there or boat over is nice too. Additionally, the fried bell clams were the best I had all week as well. read more

We spent a week going to lobster shacks all over the coast. This one was our favorite. Service/personality/staff 5* Lobster freshness/seasoning/cooking 5* Sides 5* (best sides we had anywhere) I threatened to hurt my boyfriend if he finished the fries before I got my share. Seafood cakes were amazing! Also the options with shrimp and crab mixed with lobster are great for folks who are a bit fonder of those shellfish (not me, but a good option) ALSO... best view/vibe of everywhere we went! read more

The seafood is so fresh! Very fast and friendly service! The seafood chowder and fried shrimp roll is my favorite!!

I can't get over the amount of 5 star reviews here. Erica's has one star food at best. My boyfriend and I stopped here to grab seafood before driving home to MA. We had the fried clam basket, a lobster roll, and a cup of clam chowder. All of this was $66 and when I handed her $80 she said is this all set?? I said yes because I felt pressured too. Joke was on me because the food was terrible. Fries were over cooked but cold, clams were not fresh and also lukewarm(came with kens tartar sauce). The clam chowder was the worst clam chowder I have ever had, it tasted like hot onion flavored milk. It was thin and flavorless. Not one thing here was fresh or homemade. We could have eaten next door at Dolphins and had a wonderful meal for what we spent for the crap that was served here. Please don't let the 5 star reviews fool you. read more

I hate to be one of the only people to give this place less than 5 stars, but I just wasn't that impressed. Read reviews that it's always packed so we went around 3:30pm to beat the lunch rush and although we got our lobster rolls with hardly a wait, this Texas girl (and her family) were just not amazed. It was our first "Maine Fresh Lobster" experience and we decided to get the lobster roll without mayo and decided that it had no flavor at all. It just tasted like a cold toasted buttery hot dog bun. Which don't get me wrong, is good and all, but I could've just gone to the store and toasted a bun myself. No true flavor. However, their fresh cut French fries were pretty tasty, if nothing else. Don't think that I'll be back for the rolls, but for the very nice staff and scenery, it's a decent place for a meal. read more

Erica's Seafood - Lobster roll without mayo and their fresh cut fries. Fries are better than the roll, in my opinion. - Seafood Near Me - Harpswell, Maine

Delicious food and quick, pleasant service. Great option for casual, outdoor meal. Good value.

Use to be great food! Went there twice this Summer,, never again! Crab roll was beyond gross ,,if I didn't leave with the food and go home, I would have given it back to them!! We had seafood platter w onion rings instead of fries, it was so greasy and tasteless my husband threw it out!! Waste of almost $100 Lesson learnt.. never will we go back,, such a shame and disappointment.. Crab Roll read more

We've gone here so early and late in the season we had to eat in the car to be warm. When you see fishermen climb onto the wharf at the end of their day, and go to the window to order, you know you're in the right place for seafood. Crabster, melted cheese with crab, and huge, fresh haddock sandwich are family favorites. Fun to watch the clientele change as the season waxes and wanes. COVID update, 7/2: they've got it down! Employees masked, tables amply spaced. Super as always. read more

Awesome seafood! Lobster roll and chowder were excellent. It is in a beautiful spot as well so that makes it taste better! It is not cheap but you get what you pay for! read more

Wow this place is delicious! The crabster roll was amazing (that crab and lobster mixed). I'll be coming back again one day. We came here on vacation, well worth the drive, but be sure to stop and get cash before you go as we did not know it was a cash only establishment when we went. There is no ATM nearby and only realized after we had ordered, but the people who run the place are so nice they gave us the address, gave us an IOU and told us to mail them payment when we could. Who does that nowadays? I love Maine. Of course I mailed them the check back when I got home and added a hefty thank you tip as well. read more

This place is going downhill it used to be okay depending on what day you went but now it's terrible . The food comes out terrible the people taking the orders are not friendly and the portions you get are terribly small . read more

We originally drove out here to go to Dolphin Marina for lobster, but upon seeing Erica's we quickly changed our minds. I'm a big fan of no-frills places that have an authentic feel and high-quality ingredients and meals. This hit the nail on the head. Tiny shack with outdoor picnic table seating near the working dock. Seemed like locals were hanging out who knew the fishermen and staff. We each got a lobster roll and it was one of the best I've ever had. The lobster was so tender and sweet and I love that they serve it straight up - just lobster in a toasted bun. Again, no frills. Worth the beautiful drive. read more

Excellent food. The shrimp is great along with the sea food chowder. Nice location with a view of Casio Bay.

We have been longtime fans of Erica's however their standards have gone way down and their prices are high. On our recent visit, the clam chowder and fish chowder both were lukewarm, my lobster roll chock full of tasteless lobster, onions rings would have been better referred to as bottom of the bag small onion pieces, something you would toss not serve a customer. Disappointing as in the past their onion rings were large, well fried and delicious, the fish chowder always with a bit of lobster in a hot fish based broth with a rich deep flavor. It was a great run but that was our last visit. Time to find our next Maine lobster shack. read more

If in the area you owe it to yourself to find this humble lobster shack. You hand pick your freshly caught lobstsa next door and pay for it and any other seafood or food you choose at walk up stand. Food is eaten at covered pic nic tables after you retrieve from order window. Free to bring your own beverages or purchase 16oz bottle soda from vending machine. At time of review hard shell lobsters were $6.00 lb. My wife ordered one about $11.00. We had 2 small homemade clam chowder and split the lobster. I honestly don't remember having a sweeter tasting Maine lobster. 2nd annual visit for us. I love the ambiance and prices. read more

This little spot is a real surprise doesn't look like much, outside seating on picnic tables right next to the ocean. The lobster!! Omg so fresh so tasty I had the crabster, part crab part lobster on a hotdog bun style roll. It was so good I highly recommended it. You really can't go wrong with anything here the freshest seafood I've ever had. I hear good things about the fried clams too. You can get a whole freshly caught lobster here for cheap I can't believe how great this little spot was! Loved it read more

I love love love ericas ! Their lobster roll is so fresh and the crabster is very solid too. I also had whole belly clams which was very fresh and fairly priced as well as clam chowder (sooo much clams in there). They're cash only! And have vending machine where you can get drinks there - bring dollar bills. read more

While I'm holding a star for the cash only thing...the food was top notch. It was an out.of the way drive to get here, but well worth it. Huge portions, homemade everything except the dipping sauces, and seating right near the dock where the ocean goodies are pulled in gives this place a big time edge. Soft shell lobsters were a steal at 7 dollars for a 1.25 pounder. The native shrimp basket was filled to the top of lightly flour dusted shrimps fried for just a moment till done and not a second more and hand cut fried which were tasty. The special, shrimp cakes, were good...browned on the flat top with a chili mayo. Fried belly clams were done just like the shrimp, served with fried and just perfect...not overdone in the least. Again, I'm keeping a star for cash only service, but the other four I present to them proudly! read more

Great place and food. Classic fried seafood at a reasonable price and a classic setting. Food: very good. Fried clams and scallops are the best I remember having. French fries and onion rings are USUALLY very good. Their inconsistent quality is the only ding we have with this place. Sometimes they're crispy and fresh. Sometimes they're soggy and small and cold. If these were consistent, I'd go 5 starts. Non fish choices exist for those who don't want fish. Sides: pretty good. reasonable choices. Maybe a bit small of a serving of coleslaw. Service: Fine. Food comes out quickly. Staff works hard. Drinks: You are limited to the soda machine choices. Bringing your own is a nice option. Seating: picnic tables with a view of outer Casco Bay. Pretty classic. Prices: Not a bargain, but very fair. Parking: Just fine. read more

10 lobster rolls in 3 days along the Maine and Massachusetts coasts. LOVEDDDDDDD this place. Of all places, this was probably my favorite. Considerations: - Price ~$13/roll - Freshness - Options for ice cream (which I didn't get) - Location - just over the hill from where the sunsets. - They answer their phone to confirm they're open. So wandering around the 'island' we found that while many of the places claimed they were open on Yelp and Google, they were in fact closed for the off season. This place was open around mid-May. Lobster Roll - you get a decent amount of lobster in the roll. It's not overstuffed with extras, just the roll and lobster. Time this visit perfectly with the sunset and you could watch the sun go down on a beautiful beach. read more

Once again Erica's Seafood did not disappoint! The absolute freshest seafood prepared perfectly. No frills, no linen tablecloth or someone filling your water glass, but if you want the best straight off the boat seafood at the most reasonable cost this is the place to be. Toby is always smiling and willing to not only help you pick out the perfect lobster (or three), but is super knowledgeable with 40 years of history fishing the cold clear waters so take some time to ask questions. The fresh lobsters and lobster rolls are always fantastic but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu board. Our personal favorites in addition to lobster are the scallops and haddock. This is an old school seafood "shack" complete with the dog lying in the sun on the dock, boats coming in and picnic tables to dine on, don't miss it. read more

I went here yesterday with the family for a nice late lunch. We sampled the chowder, the lobster and lobster roll, the shrimp basket, and the haddock sandwich. Everything was freshly prepared and well-executed. The haddock I may have been the best piece of fresh fish I've ever had. The shrimp were likewise excellent. My daughters two lobsters came directly off of a boat and went right into the pot. While the outside seating isn't terribly luxurious the quality of the food and the views made it an incredibly satisfying place to eat and be. Fresh, fresh, fresh! read more

We're here visiting for a week, Erica's is THE BEST!!! Their chowders, clam or seafood chowders!!!...consistantly 3/4s of the bowl is meat!!! And sooo tasty!!! This was the best seafood shack experience of our trip. We took about a 45 min detour to visit Erica's and it was 100% worth it. The combination of fresh, delicious seafood and the beautiful setting makes Erica's one of my all-time favorite seafood shacks... joining its peers on the Chesapeake and in the Caribbean. Our food order for 2... - 1 bowl of clam chowder: Literally 2/3 of the container was clam meat, with the odd mussel mixed in. Never seen that much meat in a chowder and loved it. It was creamy and delicious. As my friend found out, a bowl order for one person is ambitious. - 1 cup of seafood chowder: Also had tons of meat. Lobster, clam, mussel, and shrimp. Very tasty and a easier portion to manage. Creamy and warm, which was great for the chilly day. - 1 lobster roll: My favorite lobster roll of the trip. You could really taste the lobster and there was a good amount of meat on the roll. Bun was perfectly toasted and so good I had to go back for another one. Only $12, which was a nice treat compared to some of the other stands. **Went back for more... - 1 lobster roll Erica's is on a small dock area and has a gorgeous view or the land, islands, and ocean around the peninsula. Really relaxing and everything I want while eating seafood. They also offer live lobster and crabs to buy and will cook them for you for $1 per lobster. Will definitely be coming back. I would consider a monthly trip up from Boston for this place. Thanks Erica's!!! read more

Erica's is a little bit of a drive but for it being so close to 95 it's not that bad. There are definitely better lobster rolls if you go a little bit further in but they do a very good job.
