New York Pain Consultants is an amazing place that treat you with nothing but respect and are very hospitable. I cannot say good enough things about them and especially Dr. Luis Fandos. I've been dealing with chronic neck pain for the majority of my life ever since I was involved in a car accident back in 1998. Despite seeing many doctors and specialists, not one of them were able to pinpoint what the exact issue was or maybe they just had no idea and wanted to keep prescribing me medication. About a year and a half ago, I was recommended by a friend to go see Dr. Luis Fandos at the New York Pain Consultants. I like his approach to things because he listens with an open mind and is able to merge conventional medicine with holistic approaches. He put me on a regimen that included an inflammation reducing diet along with exercise and some special stretches. I can say that without a doubt the pain is gone. There are times that I feel a tiny bit of pain getting up from bed but I just think that comes with age! I wholeheartedly recommend the good doctors at NYPC.

(And that's only because I had to use the powder room, and ask a medication question upon my return.) This office is on point with technology. Reminders arrive via email if requested. I was unable to walk without assistance and the OR staff went above and beyond to help me. They were so sensitive and genuinely concerned, and very patient with me. With several severely herniated disks, I was a mess, and they made me feel supported the whole time. The staff at the front desk in the main office were not nearly as compassionate. They were downright rude, actually... but the rest of the staff easily outweighed their negativity. My favorite part of my visit was overhearing Dr. Finkelstein thanking his team for all their hard work, and telling them what a great job they did. You don't often hear that kind of appreciation!

I needed implants but didn't have the necessary bone structure in my jaws. I required bone grafts and he told be he used "every trick in the book" to create what was needed to enable my jaws to successfully accept three implants. He's so highly skilled, explained everything he was going to do and did. I trust him implicitly. I now have another tooth that was more filling than tooth, and the filling fell out. My dentist recommended a consult for another implant. Dr. Sachs was my only call. Appointment Feb. 5th, 2025. This is THE PLACE to go if you need oral surgery. Dr. Sachs is the surgeon.
