Dr. Frechette impressed me as being very detail-oriented and thorough. Very few doctors would devote their time familiarizing with a patient's medical records, reports, lab results, medications and other medical issues before seeing the patient for the very first time. Knowing my medical history, he knew what questions to ask and what to look for. He is undoubtedly very knowledgeable and observant as well. His front office made an appointment with me and there was a wait of about a month. Gracie reached out to me when there was a cancellation. He's never in any rush to get on to the next patient. The front office lady is a B*&^%. We have medicare based insurance. The office lady took one look at it and basically said "No, too much work" and hung up on us. And we were a referred by someone in the same building who works with them. To get that kind of treatment is unnecessary, and completely rude. I don't usually write reviews but I cannot recommend Dr. Frechette and his office staff highly enough! I've been a patient there for almost two years since I started experiencing seizures. When I first found Dr. Frechette I was nervous as I had never been to a neurologist before. It was all new to me. Dr. Frechette is a caring and knowledgeable neurologist. My bother has TBI and has been under his care for the last five years. My family and I are so grateful for all he has done. He has come to our aid each time my brother suffered an episode and was in the ER. Dr. Frechette also works with my brother's other numerous physicians to make sure that they are all on the same page - especially when it comes to medications and other limitations. He takes the time to talk to us and answer our questions during every appointment. More importantly, he works with us to form a plan for my brother's care moving forward. His staff is also amazing! Gracie at the front desk is great at following up and making sure we have everything we need. Our calls to the office are always answered and , if no one is available, they promptly return our call. The staff makes sure we get copies of all test results and helps prepare any medical forms we need. They are very efficient and help make our visits run smoothly. Dr. Frechette manages my ADHD and migraines. From the beginning, Dr. Frechette has always made me feel heard and validated my experiences. His office staff is always so sweet and accommodating. On more than one occasion I have managed to forget an appointment (despite the reminder call the day before- thanks ADHD) and everyone worked together to convert the appointment to a zoom very quickly. When my husband switched insurances, there was no second thought of who to see for his own ADHD. Now we are able to combine our his and hers appointments which is super convenient and also helps us be able to give a second perspective on how the other is managing. WOW - Waited almost 2 month to see this DOCTOR.. first they had to review my case before seeing me., still not understanding standing why he needs to review before without seeing the patient. My father who has Parkinson was looking forward to his doctor's appointment with Dr. Frechette. Unfortunately, he is a lot slower due to his illness and unexpectedly had to go to the bathroom which made him late to the appointment by 23 minutes. Dr. Frechette refused to see him even when my dad was willing to wait until the patients who were on time were seen. This certainly doesn't seem like a compassionate 'small', 'friendly' neurology practice that he advertises in the newspaper where my father saw his name. I am an oncologist at a major cancer center. I have never refused to see a patient who arrived within 1 hour of his or her appointment. When I talked to Dr. Frechette, he chose to hang up on me when I brought up this point right after emphasizing that he runs an efficient practice and a 'tight ship'. Efficiency, unfortunately, doesn't mean that you don't allow compassion and kindness for Parkinson's patients to guide your decisions while understanding their limitations when they are less than 30 minutes late. I have been a patient of Dr. Frechette for three years. My daily migraines are now a thing of the past. He quickly diagnosed my headaches and presented a treatment plan of medication and lifestyle changes. I had an appointment with Dr. Frischette last year during the pandemic. I had to canceled due to the increase of Covid cases as I am also a high risk and had a five year old at the time at home who was not vaccinated. I currently tried to reschedule an appointment and I was denied services because I canceled my appointment. I believe it's unprofessionalism for anyone to be denied care based on canceling an appointment especially due to the pandemic and trying to be careful. Needed an emergency prescription refill on a medication that I cannot skip even a day of. I have been taking the same medication for 15 years, and Dr. Frechette had seen me before, I scheduled an appointment to see him again, but I would have run out of medication by the appointment date. I only needed three days worth of the medication. Frechette refused to call the prescription, and the receptionist suggested I called the pharmacy and asked them if they would accommodate me without a prescription. When I asked to talk to the doctor, I was told "he doesn't do patient calls." Luckily, I was able to find a doctor who actually cared and scheduled me on his day off to help. read more

Dr Frechette and his staff, especially Gracie, have been absolutely wonderful. The doctor has done an outstanding job of caring for me as I've been going through glioblastoma brain cancer for almost 20 months. He's part of my seizure and stroke team, doing regular checks to make sure that I'm not having any negative change and remain on the medicine that I need to be on to save my life. He has been kind, considerate, and caring. And the office is always on time and never delayed for appointment times (I'm basing that on every single appointment I've had in the past 2 years which has been six). Dr. Frechette has an outstanding educational background and is highly reviewed and favorable by so many of my other doctors. I think the negative reviews posted by others here, is for their claims of being unable to get an appointment or some sort of personal unhappiness with the office staff.
