    Erewhon pool side

My son's favorite spot whenever we hit LA. He is a fan of the smoothies and I love the restaurant quality items from the hot bar. Perfect poolside treats!!

I've lived in LA my whole life and avoided places like this because it always felt so out of touch. Watching kids convince their parents to buy every snack while single-handedly contributing to America's obesity problem. Watching a man try to decide between two smoothies named after nepo babies. I'm amazed by what society has come to. Men used to go to war. If this smoothie could fund my grad school tuition, then yes, I'd say it's worth the $21. Otherwise, I've made better ones at home that had more health benefits. The 2 stars was honestly unnecessary and more for my contribution to a better society. I'm gonna go home now, drink my Hailey Bieber smoothie, and think about how I've succumbed to a Beverly Hills stereotype.

This place is packed with energy, good food, and fun. I had some dear friends visiting from out of town and brought them here. I love their hot bar and it did not disappoint. I went with the Korean short rib burrito and it was very good. My friends got bowls of soup and they were making those vanilla coconut smoothies that everyone talks about. I also grabbed the holly berry strawberry protein drink, so between that and the food it felt like two meals in one. The tri-colored potatoes and the beet salad were both really good. High quality meat across the board. Everybody was courteous and they even gave me a free water. Check out the pictures below. This place is by far one of the best.

First time in LA--headed straight to Erewhon. This location is ultra busy and seems to always have lines for the smoothie bar and hot food bar. Food quality is top tier. Everything looks bright and appetizing. I found the strawberry glaze smoothie to be too sweet. While it was great for a warm day, I thought it was ultimately not worth the price tag. I would recommend the mango smoothie for a more refreshing drink. I also tried the famous raw cinnamon roll, which I loved, especially knowing it was made from whole food ingredients. Great sweet treat option if you are looking to limit processed foods and added sugar.

    Tuna nacho

i got the tuna sushi nachos and it was so gross and soggy and spicy yet it somehow had no flavor. I am not even a picky eater but i could not finish this it was gross. None of my friends enjoyed their food either and the ribs were stale and my friend got food poisoning straight after. the smoothies weren't good either. but the strawberry one was okay

This place is definitely an experience. The smoothies are on the pricey side, but they're genuinely good, the Malibu Mango has become my go to every time. The sushi section is also surprisingly impressive for a grocery store, with fresh options and pretty reasonable prices considering the location. That said, the store is always packed. It can feel overwhelming, and finding a place to sit is almost impossible during peak hours. If you don't mind the crowds (and the price tag), it's a great spot for high quality prepared foods and healthy treats.

Overpriced? Maybe Worth it? Absolutely Stopped here just for the Hailey Bieber Smoothie and it was worth ALL of the hype. I ended up going home the next day and buying all the ingredients to make it. Aside from that I loved all the options to choose from at this location. Great for quick meals, snacks and beverages. Some come to grocery shop while others a quick bite, either way it's a cute spot. Tourists approved.

    Pitaya Smoothie

Definitely a bit overhyped but it was fun to visit Erewhon in person. They have super long lines for the smoothies but definitely order on the kiosk that has no line. I had the Pitaya smoothie. It was pretty good but honestly didn't taste a ton like Pitaya. The smoothies are good but whew I'm concerned about those prices. Too expensive for what it is. Other than that, there are all sorts of great organic options, from ready-made meals to unique ingredients.

The store is very organized, I love how they arrange the produce so neatly, everything is placed to perfection. It has a nice ambience and Yes, the products are overpriced, but they emphasize that everything is made with high quality ingredients. This location is also super popular, so be prepared to wait a while for a smoothie or anything you order, it's usually packed. That said, the location is great, and you can pretty much find anything you need.

    Hailey Bieber ice cream

This review is purely for the cafe inside that shop. We didn't walk around to shop here but came to try the viral smoothie. My friends and I were touring around LA and decided to stop in on our way to the Grove. Parking is kind of crazy/limited but, it is free while you shop. We came in on a Friday afternoon and there was a little bit of a line to order for the smoothies but not bad. There were a lot of different options. Our friends got the smoothie, my husband and I split the ice cream. The Hailey Bieber smoothie was $20 and the ice cream version was $10. Definitely overpriced, but we came for the experience. While we were there, we tried some crispy salmon rice and that was pretty tasty. The ice cream was really good and honestly, I liked it better than the smoothie. While the portion is pretty small, I would say $10 is fair for what you get. I don't think I would pay $20 for the smoothie though haha Overall, we enjoyed our experience and can cross this off our bucket list.

Strawberry glaze smoothie 3.5/5 Broke the piggy bank for this smoothie, visually stunning, but just a bit too sweet. Definitely in my skinny era..maybe I've been too healthy. I would have enjoyed this way more in my nightly ben & Jerry era. Blueberry crumble 4/5 Tons of whole blueberries, very good.

    $32.99 - Sea Moss Gel

Despite all the hype, I have never been interested in shopping at Erewhon. We happen to come by this location while strolling around Rodeo Dr -- you can't miss the insanity of people outside taking selfies and the crowd at the entrance. The curiosity got to me, so we made our way in. After pushing our way through the throng in front, further inside of the store was better. The aisles are short/narrow, but were relatively empty. We comfortably browsed through each one. My daughter enjoyed explaining the purpose of the things I didn't understand -- like Sea Moss Gel. Admittedly, my OCD loved the meticulous, neat organization of their items. The thoughtful care in the quality and presentation of their products was apparent. That all said, I can't justify paying $16.50 for a jar of soup or $20 for a smoothie. No disrespect to those who are willing to do so, but it's not for me. I appreciated the experience. Although we didn't interact with the staff, they all seemed friendly as they assisted those with questions.

    Pumpkin spiced latte
    Alexis M.

This was an extremely busy Erewhon and my first time inside. The smoothie bar and hot food bar were right on top of each other and right in front of the entrance which made it really hard to get inside and order. We ordered the cloud dream smoothie and it was alright. Not too flavorful. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte and it was awful. Like literally the worst thing I've ever had. Idk what they put in it but it was so bad I could only take 2 sips before my boyfriend downed it so I didn't waste $8. The prices of things inside varied a lot but not everything was unreasonable. They have glass bottles of water for $1.99 which I think is great especially in Beverly.

I called around 4 PM to place a cookie order and spoke with Ashley. I was immediately told that all cookie orders require 48-hour notice--without being asked how many cookies I needed or any details about the order. I even clarified that I was only looking for one dozen original cookies and one dozen milk chocolate, and she reiterated that all cookie orders require 48-hour notice. What was most frustrating wasn't even the policy--it was the lack of basic customer service. There were no follow-up questions, no attempt to offer alternatives, and no effort to see if anything could be accommodated for the next day. The conversation felt very one-sided and dismissive. I've ordered from other Bristol Farms locations throughout Southern California and have not encountered such a rigid, across-the-board policy, which made this experience even more surprising. I ended up placing the order elsewhere, and my group was very happy with that decision for several reasons, including the overall service experience. At a minimum, I would expect staff to: * Ask a few clarifying questions before declining a request * Offer alternatives or solutions when possible * Communicate policies in a more customer-friendly way Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've experienced slow or inconsistent service at this particular counter, which makes it harder to rely on. I would also be interested to understand what measures are in place to ensure team members are trained and supported to deliver a customer-focused experience that helps grow the business, rather than turning away reasonable requests.

They had an offer to waive the service fee and delivery after spending a certain amount before the end of the year. I went online and placed my order. I enjoyed that they had the option to pick a replacement for an item should it be out of stock and also to leave a note. For example, I wanted my avocados to be almost ripe but not mushy so I left that in the comments section. They gave me a window for delivery and the groceries were delivered within that time. The order was correct and the produce was absolutely beautiful and so fresh. Only caveat was that I had asked for all the items that needed to be in the fridge or freezer to be packed together so I could easily remove them first and that was not done. The other thing that I disappointed me is that some of the eggs in my carton were cracked (and yes, I did put in the notes to check for this). Other than that I was really happy I took advantage of this offer and it was the reason I shopped here instead of the competitors. I like variety, I like getting inspired for the week, and in an ideal situation this store actually has a great selection. Unfortunately, none of that mattered the moment I walked through the doors. The smell hit me immediately, and when I say hit, I mean it was horrific. I genuinely stopped in my tracks because I thought something had gone very wrong. At first I tried to brush it off, thinking maybe it was temporary or localized, but as I kept walking it became painfully clear that the odor was coming from the meat department. That alone is extremely concerning. It wasn't subtle, it wasn't faint, it was strong enough that it felt like it was oozing through the entire store and clinging to everything around it. I tried to push through because I didn't want to waste the stop, but I quickly realized I couldn't bring myself to buy anything fresh. Produce was a no, bakery was a no, meat was obviously out of the question. I ended up only feeling comfortable looking at pre packaged, fully sealed items, and even then I was second guessing myself. A grocery store should never make you feel uneasy about food safety, and unfortunately that's exactly how this visit felt. What's frustrating is that if the smell wasn't there, I actually would have enjoyed shopping here. The layout, the offerings, the overall vibe should have worked for me. But a grocery store lives and dies by cleanliness and freshness, and this experience completely missed the mark. I don't know what happened that day, but it was bad enough that I won't be back anytime soon. The staff didn't leave an impression on me as well.
