Beautiful Farmers Harvest Organic Produce .
    Russ C.

This place a great Market to stop at on Santa Monica and Robertson in WeHo. Clean, Organized, well staffed(Am) Store. I've come In Many times during the day and evenings, but never looked like today. Come check this store out early part of the day. Lots of choices to choose from.

I was passing by and decided to grab a quick snack at Pavilions, and wow this place is amazing! It's a huge store, packed with fresh produce, fresh juices, and an incredible variety of snacks. I just couldn't believe how big it was! They even have a large bakery section with fresh cakes every day though I didn't try those this time. I picked up some snacks and a few drinks, and everything was delicious. The restroom was a bit busy, understandably, probably because there aren't many public restrooms nearby so it was a little worn, but they kept it as clean as possible. There were also a lot of security guards, which was interesting, though it didn't affect my shopping. The self-checkout was super convenient and fast. It's a bustling supermarket, for sure, but that just shows how popular it is. With a big parking lot and so much variety, it's a fantastic addition to the area definitely a go-to spot!

Unicorn cake at Pavillion's bakery. The bakery is great. Try the fresh cinnamon rolls!

In my opinion, this is honestly the nicest overall supermarket in West Hollywood and by far the best local Pavillions. It's really the service that makes it. The checkout people are always so nice, not grouchy and remember you. The staff at the bakery are so helpful and the deli section as well. Sometimes the staff will actually walk around and ask if you need help with anything which is just amazing They don't have the greatest sushi, but it's fresh; it's the service that makes everything so good and it's always consistent. Plus, if you don't like something, they're happy to take it back. They make really good fresh donuts and bagels in the bakery! And getting a fresh sandwich here isn't a bad deal. You can get a bagel sandwich with lox and cream cheese at their deli counter for about $8.99. The pharmacy is little but full service and they are also very courteous. If they don't have something in stock, they can usually get it in 24 hours. It's so convenient. They also do vaccinations here and you get a coupon for a discount on your groceries if you get vaccinated here or transfer a prescription. I don't know if it's the area or the management but the vibe in the store is just so relaxed and it's actually fun to visit. You also get some interesting people shopping here and it can be quite international. I've seen quite a few famous designers and celebrities over the past few years getting their groceries. It's actually fun to shop here. People tend to think that the prices are high, and produce prices can definitely be higher than a place like Trader Joe's, but if you download the Pavillions app and just click on all the "just for u" deals, you'll see that there are a few bargains. Plus you get a lot of points and before you know it, that mounts up and you can get up to $20 off. So if you click on the "just for you page " on the app, you'll actually find that the prices tend to go down quite a bit when you use the app, it's just that you have to take the time to click on all the coupons. My advice is to open the Pavillions app before you go into the store and just click every single "just for you" item (just keep clicking!) because when you're shopping, something you are buying might have an extra discount. They have a little Starbucks inside, and the baristas are super nice. It's actually not a bad idea to go there instead of the Starbucks in the same plaza across the lot because not only do you get the Starbucks deals but you also get points with the grocery store if you enter your grocery rewards number. On Fridays, they also have a special when you buy a Starbucks drink and a baked item. A real stand-out out of this store is the florist. They always have great fresh flowers and they'll make up something special for you as well if you ask. You can also just make your own bouquet and they even have a nice selection of vases. It's a great place to get a last-minute flowering plant for someone. The parking lot is actually massive and if you can't find parking on the main level or don't want your car dinged by someone's SUV door just go to the north west corner of the lot where there's a ramp and drive up to the top where there is lots of free parking and spaces. There's a large elevator there on the south-east corner that will take you down directly into the store and back up so you don't have to worry about your shopping cart.

1.0.1 Ultra Premium Vodka. So stocked they have my favorite Vodka and what a price!!!

They had an offer to waive the service fee and delivery after spending a certain amount before the end of the year. I went online and placed my order. I enjoyed that they had the option to pick a replacement for an item should it be out of stock and also to leave a note. For example, I wanted my avocados to be almost ripe but not mushy so I left that in the comments section. They gave me a window for delivery and the groceries were delivered within that time. The order was correct and the produce was absolutely beautiful and so fresh. Only caveat was that I had asked for all the items that needed to be in the fridge or freezer to be packed together so I could easily remove them first and that was not done. The other thing that I disappointed me is that some of the eggs in my carton were cracked (and yes, I did put in the notes to check for this). Other than that I was really happy I took advantage of this offer and it was the reason I shopped here instead of the competitors. If you want to receive offers like this and enjoy grocery delivery from time to time I strongly suggest getting on the Gelson's e-mail mailing list.

I like variety, I like getting inspired for the week, and in an ideal situation this store actually has a great selection. Unfortunately, none of that mattered the moment I walked through the doors. The smell hit me immediately, and when I say hit, I mean it was horrific. I genuinely stopped in my tracks because I thought something had gone very wrong. At first I tried to brush it off, thinking maybe it was temporary or localized, but as I kept walking it became painfully clear that the odor was coming from the meat department. That alone is extremely concerning. It wasn't subtle, it wasn't faint, it was strong enough that it felt like it was oozing through the entire store and clinging to everything around it. I tried to push through because I didn't want to waste the stop, but I quickly realized I couldn't bring myself to buy anything fresh. Produce was a no, bakery was a no, meat was obviously out of the question. I ended up only feeling comfortable looking at pre packaged, fully sealed items, and even then I was second guessing myself. A grocery store should never make you feel uneasy about food safety, and unfortunately that's exactly how this visit felt. What's frustrating is that if the smell wasn't there, I actually would have enjoyed shopping here. The layout, the offerings, the overall vibe should have worked for me. But a grocery store lives and dies by cleanliness and freshness, and this experience completely missed the mark. I don't know what happened that day, but it was bad enough that I won't be back anytime soon. The staff didn't leave an impression on me as well.

It is a bit surreal being in a grocery store where the mean/median/mode price of something is 10x what it'd be at a normal shop. There's a parking garage right next to this location, but there was also a good amount of street parking nearby. Staff was very friendly! I got an 8 oz. jar of the Summit Trail Mix, which I really liked! It's not too salty and the dried fruits complimented the almonds so well. Enjoyed it so much that I kinda wish I opted for the bigger jar. Also, on top of the already steep price, there's a $3 bottle deposit. Since it was my first time here, the cashier let me know that you can get your deposit back if you bring the bottles/jars back to the store. After making my trail mix purchase, I got the strawberry glaze smoothie. My smoothie was ready pretty quickly. I'm not a big strawberry-flavor lover, but I really enjoyed this smoothie. It was the perfect refreshing drink for hot weather and walking around. I also felt very fitting and pretentious taking sips of my smoothie while strolling around Melrose. I definitely have to go back next time I'm in LA.. to get my bottle deposit back of course..

Recently, Rite Aid transferred my prescriptions to this Ralphs and I am just SHOCKED at how downhill this place has gone. It's dirty. In the cramped and small parking lot, you'll see garbage, debris and almost always, a police action. The store, which was never particularly roomy, has been made even worse by the installation of anti-theft panels and cabinets to lock up any item of even minuscule value. The aisles are now even more narrow and cramped. I have no idea how one finds a basket or cart... you just wander around hoping for a castaway. Not that I needed either... I wouldn't buy anything from the "fresh" section or deli here on a dare. I saw turkey that was so un-fresh it had turned a scary shade of taupe. The produce area is impossible to navigate and this morning, there were several large spills that were being studiously ignored by the staff. And the pharmacy - what a mess. It's in a dark, dank corner but still right in an aisle, so there is no where to line up. And there WILL be a line, because the hours aren't very convenient. This Rock and Roll Ralphs was always a little "gritty". But it's gone too far. Probably best to gut the entire store and either start over or just tear it down.

I called around 4 PM to place a cookie order and spoke with Ashley. I was immediately told that all cookie orders require 48-hour notice--without being asked how many cookies I needed or any details about the order. I even clarified that I was only looking for one dozen original cookies and one dozen milk chocolate, and she reiterated that all cookie orders require 48-hour notice. What was most frustrating wasn't even the policy--it was the lack of basic customer service. There were no follow-up questions, no attempt to offer alternatives, and no effort to see if anything could be accommodated for the next day. The conversation felt very one-sided and dismissive. I've ordered from other Bristol Farms locations throughout Southern California and have not encountered such a rigid, across-the-board policy, which made this experience even more surprising. I ended up placing the order elsewhere, and my group was very happy with that decision for several reasons, including the overall service experience. At a minimum, I would expect staff to: * Ask a few clarifying questions before declining a request * Offer alternatives or solutions when possible * Communicate policies in a more customer-friendly way Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've experienced slow or inconsistent service at this particular counter, which makes it harder to rely on. I would also be interested to understand what measures are in place to ensure team members are trained and supported to deliver a customer-focused experience that helps grow the business, rather than turning away reasonable requests.
