In my experience, dealing with car salesmen is like trying to make friends with your prison bunk mate who you just met and you play nice with at first but aren't sure whether or not they're going to shank you in your sleep. This was my experience for most dealers as one by one they refused to provide quotes, ghosted me or outright insulted me for daring to take their sh*tty quote and share it with another dealer to see if they were willing to beat said sh*tty quote. But Katharine at Faulkner was like a breath of fresh air compared to the two faced monsters at most of the other dealers. She was kind, genuine, responsive and great to work with through a process that I hated from the moment I reached out to my first dealership. I wish the car buying experience could be what Katharine provided for everyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend Katharine for your saleswoman and encourage anyone who is interested in buying a vehicle to ask for her by name if you want a car buying experience that all dealerships should strive for.

Very poor communication from start to finish. Had we not called service department an hour before…read morethey closed we would have been stranded without a loaner car. Again when car was finished, 3 days later than told... no phone call. We had to call. Price quoted was nearly doubled. Quoted $700 final bill $1300. When we questioned bill the service guy reduced to $1000. Felt like i was dealing with a salesman. Never going back.

I thought chain name places like STS and Aamco was expensive, but these guys are in a new class. Took the car to get a simple repair and the car started having other problems in less than a week, but they will be happy to charge you for additional repairs (how generous). The price for their gas, which is higher by about 20% than average in the area, should have sent me some warning signs. They also nickel and dime you to death. Charges you for every little thing plus some kind of miscellaneous shop charge... that was a totally new one for me. Take your car to some place in Pennington or some where else, and get at least two opinions.

Jimmy has a wonderful reputation with people in town so I started taking my car to him about a year ago. He has gotten to know my car quite a bit between a couple of different electrical problems, wear and tear, oil changes, routine checks and dealing with my many questions about the 09 Chevy impala that I drive frequently. It is really wonderful to have such an honest, efficient and fair mechanic... especially when you know nothing about cars, and you drive a used one. :)

Explains things to you fully, keeps prices reasonable and gets things done in a timely manner. This shop has experience dealing with foreign cars as well as American-made ones, and doesn't seem to penalize you because you drive a VW!! I highly recommend giving them a try - whether for routine maintenance like an oil change or inspection, or for more complex issues like your A/C, they live up to their name! They are a little hidden gem.... well-worth finding in the scrappy industrial park in which they are located. Don't let that put you off. You'll be happy you found them. I sure am!!

I needed a belt fixed, and a basic oil change so of course I called in an appointment. Oil change was a breeze, but of course the good old belt on my foreign mobile gave Geoff a run for his time. But of course, he got it done and my Bluebell is all fixed up right! Geoff was even kind and offered to put on my new wiper blades he saw that I had in my car and of course in true expensive mini fashion, the standard blades I bought do not work. So there my mini goes again giving Geoff a run for his time. Fair rates, great timing, the best service around, Ryan's will forever be my auto shop!
