Brian and Glenn are simply fantastic. My family has been taking our cars to them, and previously their father, since 1992. They never fail to provide excellent auto service! I completely trust them with any vehicle, and I recommend them to anyone who needs anything for their car. I will never forget the time when I called them very upset as a simply surviving college student who needed engine work done and was stuck at a dealership out of town who wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for services that I wasn't sure if I needed. Nobody I knew was able to help me figure out my car problems, but they spent TWENTY MINUTES on the phone with me to help me figure out different things that I could ask the dealership for that wouldn't be as expensive, and were just nice as can be about it. I ended up getting a small patch job done at the dealership, and then took my car to Moore's for more in-depth work. I knew they wouldn't over-charge me, and would be able to figure out exactly what needed to be done without causing me more stress. Last month, the tail light on my husband's truck got hit by a passing motorist, and I had to fix it. I found the part at the dealership, and then stopped by Moore's to see if they could fit the truck in to repair the broken light. The thing had completely come off the body of the truck - I had it attached with duct tape - and I knew nothing about how to put it back together. Brian took 5 minutes out of his day to point and show me how to fix it, and said, "Why should I bring you in here and charge you for it when you can fix it yourself in five minutes?" I was floored. I really was able to fix it later, too - my husband hadn't even noticed he had a new tail light fixture until I pointed it out to him! The dealership I got the part from wanted me to come in two weeks later to get the thing fixed, and who knows how much they would have charged. I was so glad to not have to worry about it any more! I also had my car there last week for some air conditioner problems. The first day I called to see if they could fit me into their schedule, they said they were available that afternoon for some diagnostic work. The following week, they were a little busy, so they couldn't see me until later in the week, but that was alright. They're good at what they do, and the locals know they're the place to go, so sometimes they get busy. Turns out there was a hole in one of the metal pipes that was part of the AC system. Their kindness and levels of courtesy, honesty, and professionalism that I've been used to for years amazed me again when I got the bill for fixing the problem. I was of course charged for the part that needed to be replaced, and then the charge for their labor was very, very reasonable. They are just some of the most down-to-earth, genuinely kind people I have ever met, and they are magnificent mechanics to boot. Thank you both for all of your help over the years! read more
