    Tulluis meal.

This is a newer place seemed like they've just settle in. The workers are nice and courteous. It's been a long while since I've had E&B. I can still say it's my favorite sandwich shop. This location is the closest to me so I can see myself stop in here for a grinder every now and then. I had the Tulius? It's the double roast beef with the fixings. For those of you who don't know E&B, their sandwich bread they take out the guts/innards. I love how they do that! It balances out the sandwich so well. What I mean by balances out? The bread to meat/fixings is perfect to how I would make it. Where other sandwich places have a wadload of bread and too much fixings. I will definitely visit again soon. Next time the soup is on my list. Can't wait to dip the bread guts!

A fav of mine in college and still holds true today. Their bread is superior to many fast food sub places.

I paid almost $7 for a sandwich with one thin slice of turkey on it. Ridiculous. Never going to an E&G again.

We made a reservation in advance but didn't need to make it too far in advance which was nice. To start, we ordered some wine. It felt like a nicely curated selection and each of us enjoyed our wines. When we visited there weren't any cocktail options on the menu so that was the only thing that felt slightly missing, but they still had a nice selection of wine, beer, ciders, and sakes. The food was so so solid. To be a place that does veg options equal to/even better than the meat options is incredibly impressive to me. Everything we tried was well balanced flavor wise. We split the lettuce wraps which were a great shareable starter. I wish we had gotten the wontons because those looked great! We shared a tofu noodle salad, the tofu jicama sticky ribs, and the chicken sandwich. Each of these in my opinion are must orders. My favorite of these were the sticky ribs. Truly probably the best tofu dish I've ever had. Look forward to coming back-I would recommend this to anyone.

I get the same thing - fried vegetarian rice and the chili crunch on the side. I usually order one to go and get chili crunch on the side as well. They didn't have any seating outdoors so we got a to go order. Usually their staff is receptive and a little brusque but efficient and accurate. Today, the person who I encountered seemed incompetent - she kept telling me, ok so you want the friend rice with pork, vegetarian? And I kept saying yes but just to make sure, no pork and had to have her repeat it twice. Then she forgot my chicken sandwich and we had to wait. To top it off, there was a miscommunication about the chili crunch and they just added more to my dish and the chef, who in the past seemed like a good guy but maybe has just gotten too busy, told my husband they don't give the chili crunch out in small containers which is weird because I've always ordered it that way and argued with him. My mouth is on fire because they added extra chili crunch to my rice rather than added it on the side as I requested and it is inedible. I'm a bit bummed because we drove 30m to pick up dinner. Probably won't be back anytime soon, which is a bummer as this place used to be a staple for us.

Such a nice spot to drop into!…read more The staff gave me a great recommendation, I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu. Seating was simple and required ordering before sitting, which I appreciated. I ended up with the collosal classic breakfast, turkey links, sourdough, overeasy egg, hash browns and some black berry blueberry jam. It was a good size and pretty good. I was able to split it over two meals! Coffee and water were self serve, which I loved. Honestly, this is something I wish every restaurant had because I drink a good amount of coffee and hate bugging the staff for more. My only thing would be the hot sauce. I liked the pineapple habanero, but it was more sweet than spicy. I think a nice Cry Baby Craig's bottle would have really made it. I can't wait to go back and try more things!

This location is a bit small and can be pretty popular at times but they've really stepped up their service lately. You order and at the counter before you are seated and it used to be seat yourself free for all but most recently a server was asking folks in line their party sizes and presenting seating options before you order so you would have a table reserved when you were ready to sit. I really liked this and thought it did wonders to streamline the sometimes chaotic customer line and seating situation. Less stressful for me and less stressful for them! We were able to order, find our reserved table outside, and receive our coffee and food all within 20 minutes of arriving. They serve Truestone coffee here which absolutely bangs, really really good, and I got a vanilla latte that had actual vanilla bean in it. Delectable! I got the Chorizo bowl which comes with 2 salsa that pack some pleasant heat and are complimented by a couple small slices of pineapple. My friends got the Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, and the special Guajillo Eggs Benedict both of which were also quite satisfying. The one item I did not enjoy was the Biscuits and Gravy, the gravy was just too sage heavy (as advertised) and I am not sure I liked the combo of pork and bison meat in it. That being said, I will definitely still come back here! Really REALLY good coffee will always keep me coming back.

Great little local spot in Saint Paul…read more There's a lot to like about Estelle so I'll try to keep it to what stands out: 1. The menu is wonderful, and the food comforting. The peri peri chicken was surprisingly spicy. I like spicy foods and it was teetering on a bit too hot for me, but I enjoyed the flavors and the dishes as a whole that we sampled. 2. The cocktails are divine. I had two old fashioneds and they were amongst some of the best I've had. 3. The service is impeccable. Friendly, well paced, and professional. 4. The ambiance is really comfortable. I liked that we weren't rushed, and had a really well paced meal in a nice environment. Overall I'd love to return someday. If you go be sure to make a reservation!

We were seated right away based on our reservation and our waitress was a gem for bearing the heat of the patio with us. I got the grilled asparagus, the piri piri chicken, and the ginger cake. Piri piri chicken has a bit of a kick to it but it pairs perfectly with the rice and I really enjoyed it. For me, the $55 three course meal was worth the value since I got a few of the pricier items, but for the other two members of my party, the prices were listed on the restaurant week menu and the items they chose when added up totaled as less than $55. They still were charged $55, which did feel a bit odd and we all agreed we would prefer just coming for a normal dinner instead of during restaurant week in the future. Better balance of food that way also. I didn't necessarily need all three full courses and would've been more content sharing apps and desserts. Regardless though-they never miss on the flavors at Estelle!

It's the kind of place where you can sit for hours with friends, enjoy the views, and have a great conversation. Definitely one of the biggest reasons to visit. I ordered the fish and chips. The portion size was good, but the fish was a bit too oily for my taste. Overall, the food was decent, though it didn't quite live up to how amazing the atmosphere was. That said, I'd still happily recommend Dock & Paddle as a great spot for a casual dinner, drinks, or catching up with friends.
