All employees are rude if you are hurting and in pain would not recommend going to this place.

It all started at the park, I was on my skateboard doing my thing, then "BAM ", I fall off for the FIRST time EVER. :( I first fell on my butt, then my right elbow and to top it off, my wrist slams on the concrete. I, being in total shock, got back up and started skateboarding again like nothing ever happened..... there was instant pain but I never thought there was anything wrong. As the days go on, the pain is getting unbearable, it hurts to write, move, it's a sharp pain that goes up and down my ENTIRE ARM. I decided to set up an appointment, to have an X-ray done, at Baylor hospital but they weren't nice AT ALL, super short and rude. So, I gave it one more day..... and with that said, that one day was ENOUGH. I was driving down the freeway and I see 'TRUSTED ER' with a NOW OPEN sign, I look down at my arm and with the horrible sharp pain, decided to call. I wanted to be sure there wasn't a protocol to follow. (I myself work for a clinic and didn't want to disrespect the rules.) Calling them was like talking to your long time friend, by the way there are no rules (other than Covid protocol) JUST WALK ON IN PEOPLE! :) They welcome EVERYONE! Once I made it there, I thought I was I was getting a room key, to enjoy my stay at the "TrustedER Hilton" Lol It is BEAUTIFUL, IMMACULATELY CLEAN, made me feel at home and no panic attack here! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by the front desk receptionist, who was extremely polite, professional, and very helpful. I have NEVER been to a hospital that treats you like they actually care about you as a human being. With that said, I WILL NEVER GO TO A CARE NOW AGAIN, worst experiences of my LIFE!! Here's a BIG THANK YOU to Trusted+ER, the front desk receptionist, the nurses, the doctor, X-ray techs the janitors (if any), ALL TRUSTED+ER EMPLOYEES, and Michael at check out! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING! My daughter even asked if she could be dropped off just to hangout with everyone, because they were all so nice to her while she waited for me to have my arm checked out. To end my story on 2 great notes, my arm is only sprained, no fracture or broken bones! Yeay! I'm still in awe with how wonderful everyone was to us, and how beautifully cleaned everything is. I was given a sling that helps so much with the pain and to keep it still. I was also given a backpack, with an awesome shirt that I'm wearing in my picture and some goodies to go! I'm work in health care and know how patients are supposed to be treated. Even though I had to pay $500 dollars for the rapid covid test this place is worth every penny. The clinic is very clean and the staff is top notch. Upon leaving they have me a backpack full Of swag and delicious goodies . I will be recommending this clinic to everyone. The sweet lady behind the desk was very friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door ( these days this just doesn't happen) they had a concierge that made sure that I stopped and put hand sanitizer on before I walked up to the front desk. They had clean pens for me to fill out my paperwork in a dirty bin for me to put the pen in so they could sterilize it after I used it. They had coffee tea individually wrapped goodies. Hello! I'm going to complain about my recent ER visit, because I felt like I was ignored and placed in the back of the stupid doctor's mind :)) I would also like to explain how the "doctor" at this ER was ignorant, inattentive, and rude :) So I get to the Trusted ER in hurst at around 1:45am, got my paperwork started and began drinking a ginger ale, because my stomach was in #pain and I didn't want to throw up again because my body literally rejects it and I start crying every time I vomit. That being said, the doctor called me back, sat me in a room and began asking questions. From the very first question I could tell that I didn't like this man. In case you're wondering his name is *DOCTOR ROGELIO CASTANEDA* and he genuinely did not care for me in any way. I answered his questions about family history, smoking, and pain levels, which he didn't really pay much attention to :)) I told him I was throwing up before I showed up and my stomach felt like a 7 on the pain scale literally 10 minutes ago, but it's dulled to a 2, so he only cared about the 2 and didn't even write down that I was experiencing immense abdominal pain :)) He then asked if I did any drugs. Here it comes boys, the moment that made me want to throw up on this "Doctor's" face :)) I said I smoked weed, but hadn't smoked all day or the day before, because I genuinely didn't have the energy and I didn't feel good. But :)) he :)) said :)) weed could be the cause of the pain :)) likeIknowhowIreacttodrugs don't try to tell me that I'm having diarrhea and throwing up with relatively PAINFUL stomach cramps that felt like daggers because I smoke weed :)) So, at this point, I was annoyed and uncomfortable because this man obviously didn't want me in his ER because he's already written this off as a "weed episode" He left me in the room. Alone. For a good 45 minutes before I even received any attention. No one took my vitals, no one asked how I was doing, and no one checked on me for a good 30 minutes. The only reason the doctor opened my door was because I was genuinely sobbing about how painful my stomach was getting. Hilariously enough, opening a door doesn't make me feel better. So then I threw up. I bent over the trash can after crying in pain for a half hour, at this point very upset and crying *LOUDLY* so the nurse would fucking pay attention to me :)) and the nurse did. She came in and helped me get to a TREATMENT ROOM (wow u couldn't have done this 25-30 minutes ago when I was crying in pain?) And I got blood drawn and hooked up to an IV. The *doctor* did NOT enter my room until he told me I could leave if I wanted to, after getting a CT scan and getting medicine for the nausea and stomach cramps. And he barely even spoke to me so if you need an ER in the late hours of the night, DO NOT GO TO #TRUSTEDER :)) ty for coming to my Ted talk. read more

In my last review I shared how wonderful Trusted ER was with my family. This time, I get to share my story. A couple of weeks ago I needed treatment. I was in such good hands that I told my husband he didn't need to get a sitter for our littles to come be with me. I ended up spending about 10 hours there. Doctor McDonald, RN Rebecca and the entire team took such good care of me. I left feeling as if I were part of the family. I was seen at this ER when I have stomach flu/virus. I thought I was going to die! I felt awful. Everyone there was extremely attentive and took good care of me. They let me rest and get stable on medication before I was discharged. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable and that made me hurt more so I sat in the chair in my room. Medical staff was fabulous. It was too expensive. read more

Last Saturday evening was a very special night where my daughter was getting married. We had a small party at our house with few attendees due to the pandemic. My other younger daughter was racing to prepare for the party and as she was rushing through the kitchen she hit the oven door which was left open and caused about 3 inch cut across her right leg. In spite of the blood and the pain, she didn't want to ruin the party that was about to take place. So I bandaged her wound hoping she can handle it for the next couple of hours. As the party started the pain was unbearable and she was crying out of pain. In spite of the fact that we live near a hospital, I decided to see if I can get treatment at a clinic for faster service. But at 9:00pm all urgent care clinics were closing and not willing to take a new patient. I know that my friend Dr Kareem Elshatory works for an Emergency clinic so I decided to ask him for advice. He immediately showed concern and asked for a photo of the injury. When he saw the photo he advised that a visit to the clinic is a must because the wound needs stitching and tetanus shot must be administered to protect against poisoning. He told me about their locations but I decided to drive a little longer where he was on duty at the Hurst location. That was my first time to the facility and I was impressed with the convenient location off the highway and the inside of the building. We were received by a very friendly receptionist and in no time Dr Elshatory came out and took us one of the treatment room. At 21 years old, my daughter was in pain and needed some assurance that she will be OK. Dr Kareem showed so much compassion and made sure to explain to her about the procedure which made her feel so much better. He personally performed cleaning the wound thoroughly, numbed the skin and then neatly closed the wound with 8 stitches. My daughter did not feel any pain during the procedure and was pleased to see it was done. She made sure to take some photos to share with family and friends. Finally a very kind nurse came in wrapped the wound after dressing the area with antibiotic ointment. She then gave her the tetanus shot and explained to her about the prescription ordered by the doctor. We left the clinic very satisfied and impressed with the professional treatment and the friendly staff that made me and my daughter very happy. The best part of the story is the fact that my daughter was able to attend the rest of the party and the whole family was pleased to see her back with a smile. My teenage son are visiting from out of state and my son had an emergency situation arise. My son was super anxious and the staff totally put him at ease. Nurse Rebecca was a rockstar and tended to his needs for the next 3 days. A serious health condition with a loved one brought us to TX and the staff was very supportive on a personal front as well. I went here because it was closest to me and I had such a fabulous experience last year when I had an allergic reaction. This time, not so much! I had the worst experience any patient should have. This facility needs training and bedside manners!! Doubled over, I walked in and was told to stop & put a mask on. No problem, I'll hold myself up, grab onto a chair and put it on. Female Nurse walked slowly to front & told reception she needed more tags for someone. Then leisurely looked at me and said we have your room ready you can follow me. I could barely walk. I think my kidney is exploding. She told me to go into the bathroom and Per in a cup. While she got the cup out, I held myself against the wall. She told me I could grab the rails if I needed to and pull the cord if I needed help lol. She was there and didn't help me!! Why would I pull the cord?? Finally get into the bed and before examining me, the sweet dr asked me a ton of questions like do I live in a house or apartment. Do I live alone or with anyone? Do I feel safe going back home. I answered the questions & started crying & asked them if they could just treat me and figure out what's going on because I'm in excruciating pain and vomiting. Those questions don't seem relevant right now! They snapped at me and told me they must have all this info prior to examining me. Later, the male nurse came in. I told him this has been awful and he said 3 times a charm. He asked me if I was just having menstrual cramps. At this point I think I may die in Trusted ER because these healthcare workers are insane!! He inserted the arm catheter into my left arm and it was extremely painful- not the poke but whatever it was stabbing. I told the male nurse Jonathan and he wasn't concerned, nor did he look at it or inspect it. We believe he poked a nerve in my arm. Pain never went away- I asked him 6 times to remove the catheter out of my arm because I wanted to leave. 5 times he told me NO. He said he won't remove it until he puts a new one in at another place on my body. I explained while crying that he can't keep me and I have the right to leave. I was frightened!! Dr advised I shouldn't leave because this could be very serious. I agree it's serious so I need to go somewhere that takes it seriously!! Finally the 6th time after the dr told him to- he removed it. He grabbed my arm tight and wrapped it so tight it busted blood vessels in my arm. Being discharged was a quick. The female nurse who now seems real nice to me asked Jonathan to give her the paper and she would go over it with me and have me sign it. He refused. He wanted to do it even though I didn't want him anywhere near me. He read it to me and had me sign it. I walked out and went to the hospital. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I visited this ER with the concern of septic shock and they laughed at me. Two days later, I go to the hospital ER, and it was septic shock and I ended up on a ventilator. Do not go to this place if you actually care about your health. Also, their beds feel like you are laying on a piece of metal. Severely uncomfortable and will make you hurt more than you are. read more

This is the best ER that I have ever been to. I went there last night for the worst migraine I have ever had. They immediately got me back, but a cool towel over my eyes and gave me pain killers. They treated me with respect and took my needs seriously. They even ordered an Uber to take me home when I was unable to get a ride. I was beyond impressed. read more

I'm pregnant and it turned that I suffer from HG. I was dehydrated weak and I couldn't function. My husband brought me to Trusted ER in Hurst. It's a beautiful and clean facility. It's a 5 star health care facility. Kya at the reception was so amazing and reassured me that everything is going to be fine. I was treated by Dr. Clark and Nurse Troy. Dr. Clark treated us like family and genuinely cared for me. He brought life to my face and body. Felt so much after the treatment. Troy went an extra mile and made me hear the baby's heartbeat to reassure me that everything is ok. Trusted ER also gave me a bag full of goodies and a comfortable blanket. I feel lucky to have them near our house. Thank you to all the staff for their amazing service. They're American heroes. read more

After going to multiple doctor's in the span of a month... two antibiotics and three different diagnoses later, a family friend recommended I head to Trusted ER after her phenomenal experience. I was gotten back straight away and made more than comfortable. I first saw Dr. Elshatory who ran the tests required to see what really was going on. He was able to talk through a plan of treatment with me and told me that if I wasn't better in a couple of days to come back and they'd get me squared away again. I felt so comforted when the following couple of days I received a call from Trusted ER asking how I was doing. Just to my luck, I had to come back today as I still was not feeling any better. Once again, they got me back promptly and had Dr. Clark in my room within 10minutes of being taken back and getting vitals done. I explained that I felt something wasn't right deep in my neck and Dr. Clark LISTENED and decided that he wanted to rule out some soft tissue issues via diagnostic imaging. Had he not suggested we do a CT Scan of my neck we would have never known that I had an abscess behind my tonsil. I didn't realize that in some instances this could become serious, but Dr. Clark clearly explained how he was going to treat the abscess. Before being discharged with a referral for an ENT to follow up with, Dr. Clark said something that completely touched me..."When you get discharged and walk out that door, know that you are not alone. We are here 24/7 and you can call us at anytime you need." The comfort of knowing that I am not just getting kicked to the curb put my mind at ease while I focused my energy on safely getting better. On a separate note: my nurse for the majority of both times I was here was Eileen. I have never been in a medical establishment and had a nurse that showed as much care, diligence, and compassion as Eileen. She made both me, and my mom who was with me, feel as comfortable as we could be in an ER. She was an absolute rockstar. The first time I was in, my other nurse, James lent me his charging cord as I was alone and my phone was about to die. Thank you Eileen and James! I had went to their ER recently for some concerning heart palpitations. Within 10 minutes or less I was already in a room being assessed with a Doctor at the bedside. Everyone was so kind and professional with my care. I was even given medicine to help me relax; And i was able to get a little nap in! I was there for maybe 2 hours total since I walked in the door! The staff was very patient with me and I did NOT feel rushed. The doctor was very informative and concerned about my current condition and provided resources for me to follow up with from my visit. This is one of the best ER clinics I have ever experienced! And at the end of your visit they even provide you with a bag and some free goodies inside! If you are in the HEB area and seeking emergent care this is the best place to be! read more

Today I was told to go to your facility for a wound I have on a hemangioma on my leg. I was met by Dr. Rodrigo Castaneda who was very rude and basically said there is nothing he can do because he didnt want to mess with it. He spoke to me as if I was a child saying I need to apply pressure. Of course I know the basics but the reason I went is because I have only been able to stop the bleeding temporarily. After telling him that I have been doing that he told me that there is no doctor who will be willing to do anything for me because of its size and said "good luck trying to find someone to touch that shit", that is a verbatim quote. Not only did he not even attempt to help me but that is not a way to talk to a patient. You sir need a different career that does not involve face to face interactions. Horrible bedside manner. I dont recommend this place to anyone. read more

If you don't have insurance, this place cannot and will not help you. Unless of course you can drop $1500 cash to run a few tests with still no answer. They call themselves an ER but do not operate like an ER. The Dr. will also judge you based on your lifestyle and orientation. Trusted was so warm and welcoming when I had to go to the ER last week. The doctors and nurses are super laid back but also incredibly personable, kind and attentive. Shout out to Nick, Brenda, Kayla, Lorrie, Nicole and Dr. Clark, they make a great team. I will forever choose Trusted over any other ER. They have the capability to do everything an ER attached to a hospital can do (and more), but with no wait time and YOU are the number one priority because they don't have 30 other patients to see, I love that. You certainly don't feel like you are in an ER either, the place is gorgeous! Not to mention all the marketing gear and snacks! They definitely won this girl over with snacks and candy! read more

I would never ever go to this location or any location like this. TRUSTED ER my butt. To call and asked does my insurance cover this location and for the young lady to say yes. So you place that initial trust in them. To come to the realization you were lied to like that makes you never trust another location like this even if only place you can go. So I dropped a glass bottle on foot and cut it open where you can see flesh. Well treated by the doctor who only placed medical grade glue not stitches on the wound. Well low and behold my insurance gets billed. Partial denial on payment. Mind you I already paid $200 up-front. They charged my insurance $4,405.44. Of that $1,692.40 was for the doctor and $2,713.04 for the location. Well insurance only did a partial payment and that was a little over $500 again I paid $200 upfront. So here I am battling the additional charges because I was seriously over billed. So if you want to place trust in them I suggest you don't. Never again. read more

Told me my daughter had a diaper rash after not testing her urine or running any kinds of tests, just giving her a popsicle and looking in her diaper. Using Mother's intuition, I took her to Cooks when they opened later the same day- she tested positive for a UTI. No number to file a complaint to besides the ER number, no management to talk to. These folks are criminals. They have been charging $500 cash for a Covid test and then tell you to submit the claim to your insurance company but they will not provide you an itemized bill that details why you went in. When you reach out to billing, they tell you management has made the decision not to release any information as to what procedures people are paying for. The insurance company on a 3 way call could not believe it. When there are so many reputable facilities to visit, there is no reason to visit this one. read more

I went here today for flu like symptoms. From the minute I walked through the door I felt like a VIP. The personalized care I received was top notch. The entire staff went above and beyond throughout my entire stay. I would never go to a standard hospital ER after my visit here. The hospital was clean, rooms had all sorts of amenities. Even my family was treated like a VIP. They listened and really seemed to care about me. Treated me like I was family and not just some stranger. Would highly recommend. They even provided me with a goodie bag upon checking out which was unexpected and nice. read more

It leaves me wondering what Trusted ER is going to do for customers when they don't accept coverage from huge companies such as United Healthcare or the government. I've tried to use them on multiple occasions and it always ends at some ridiculous amount of money nobody could afford. I never see any cars there, and it's never busy. Given what it costs to deliver health care I do wonder what this company's purpose is supposed to be. Healthcare is so expensive hardly anyone can afford to pay cash, and that's all they sell from what I can tell. It may explain why they feature a 1940's Chevrolet Ambulance as a street sign - because that's the newest one they can afford with the amount of profits they are generating. These stand alone emergency rooms have not done well in this city. There are a few tombstones that tries this before them, and we know what happened with that. The hospitals we have were not doing a bad job, and the marketplace for this is looking mighty small. I haven't found anything they sell that I can use. read more

I've been to this location twice. The first time was when I got the flu a couple of months ago, and the second was when I experienced stroke-like symptoms a couple of weeks ago. Both experiences were better than I could have imagined. Everyone on staff is so friendly and accommodating. For the flu, I was in and out quickly with prescriptions. For the possible stroke, they ran multiple tests, and I was there for about 7 hours until it was determined I should go to the hospital for an MRI. I was comfortable, taken care of, and the staff made sure my family was also treated nicely. When they transferred me, they gave me a bag with pajama pants, toiletries, and snacks...which was fantastic because the hospital ended up admitting me and I needed all of those items. I'm home now with no stroke but rather migraines. And I just received cookies in the mail from Trusted ER, checking in on me. I haven't gotten any bills yet, but I'll pay the extra buck or two for great customer service! read more
