I, being in total shock, got back up and started skateboarding again like nothing ever happened..... there was instant pain but I never thought there was anything wrong. As the days go on, the pain is getting unbearable, it hurts to write, move, it's a sharp pain that goes up and down my ENTIRE ARM. I decided to set up an appointment, to have an X-ray done, at Baylor hospital but they weren't nice AT ALL, super short and rude. So, I gave it one more day..... and with that said, that one day was ENOUGH. I was driving down the freeway and I see 'TRUSTED ER' with a NOW OPEN sign, I look down at my arm and with the horrible sharp pain, decided to call. I wanted to be sure there wasn't a protocol to follow. (I myself work for a clinic and didn't want to disrespect the rules.) Calling them was like talking to your long time friend, by the way there are no rules (other than Covid protocol) JUST WALK ON IN PEOPLE! :) They welcome EVERYONE! Once I made it there, I thought I was I was getting a room key, to enjoy my stay at the "TrustedER Hilton" Lol It is BEAUTIFUL, IMMACULATELY CLEAN, made me feel at home and no panic attack here! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by the front desk receptionist, who was extremely polite, professional, and very helpful. I have NEVER been to a hospital that treats you like they actually care about you as a human being. With that said, I WILL NEVER GO TO A CARE NOW AGAIN, worst experiences of my LIFE!! Here's a BIG THANK YOU to Trusted+ER, the front desk receptionist, the nurses, the doctor, X-ray techs the janitors (if any), ALL TRUSTED+ER EMPLOYEES, and Michael at check out! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING! My daughter even asked if she could be dropped off just to hangout with everyone, because they were all so nice to her while she waited for me to have my arm checked out. To end my story on 2 great notes, my arm is only sprained, no fracture or broken bones! Yeay! I'm still in awe with how wonderful everyone was to us, and how beautifully cleaned everything is. I was given a sling that helps so much with the pain and to keep it still. I was also given a backpack, with an awesome shirt that I'm wearing in my picture and some goodies to go! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Dr Hasheesh did not pay attention to patient's comprehension. He took consistent nodding as understanding from a patient with significant hearing issues. When those of us in room asked if patient understood- patient had not heard correctly. Dr had not read test results before checking on patient. Perfunctory execution of duties. PT, OT, respiratory, and neurological staff were great: competent, direct, and professional. Answered questions patiently and thoroughly. Nurses were kind. Caseworker was responsive, processed needs, and followed up.

My mother was "admitted" to Medical City North Hills on December 4, except she actually was not…read more She arrived between 5:30 and 6:00 AM with a suspected COPD flare. The triage nurse argued with her, dismissed her symptoms, claimed her oxygen reading was wrong, then tossed the pulse ox clip into her lap while stating she did not care what happened to her. That is not attitude. That is assault of a vulnerable patient. From that moment forward, nothing was handled correctly. My mother existed in the building but not in the hospital system. Not delayed. Not pending. Not processing. She simply was never admitted. And because she did not exist on paper, she did not matter to anyone responsible for her care. She received no oxygen despite struggling to breathe. She received no heparin, which is basic day one care. Her diet was entered incorrectly. Her weight was listed as 209 pounds, which has never been accurate at any point in her life. She was offered the same medications multiple times. She had no hygiene support or basic assistance. She had to unhook her own lines to use the bathroom. Her lunch tray was placed across the room where she could not reach it, and staff told her there was no one available to help. At 9 PM, after she had been given a room, the charge nurse finally opened her chart and said, "It does not look like you were actually admitted." In other words, my mother spent an entire day being medically ghosted by a hospital that claims to provide competent care. A traumatic blood draw contaminated three out of four culture bottles. A weekend doctor began mentioning PICC lines and aspiration pneumonia while Infectious Disease did not bother coming to the floor because they recognized immediately that the issue was contamination, not sepsis. She did not receive a shower, clean sheets, or a room reset until I made it clear that if no one else could care for her, I would come up and do it myself. Help appeared the moment accountability became real. This hospital used to be decent. The decline is now obvious, and the pattern is visible in their reviews. The nurses on her floor who showed compassion, brought cupcakes, and helped her salvage her birthday deserve recognition. They also deserve leadership that supports them. Kindness from a few does not excuse systemic failure. My mother is polite, soft spoken, and hesitant to advocate for herself. If this is how she was treated while her family was ready to intervene, the situation is even worse for patients with disabilities, communication barriers, or anyone too sick or frightened to fight for themselves. If you value safety, accuracy, or basic human dignity, go anywhere else. No patient should have to survive the hospital before surviving their illness.

A couple days later, i had an appointment! Let me say this here because it's useful later, I'm a damn minor!! I went because I had a problem and they took tests only to misdiagnosis me and give me the complete wrong prescription! I went to the hospital a few days after that and they took the same test total care took, found the issue and said that they lied about the prescription that was being given to me, and that it wasn't helping to problem that was found in the test results. I GOT the RIGHT prescription through the hospital, and now I'm calling for a refund since I've paid cash and to talk to an administrator about the issue. You wouldn't believe how many times I've called LOL! they can never seem to get ahold of their boss or even give me the time of day to hold a conversation without me getting cut off. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I do not recommend this damn clinic if my life depended on it.
