A huge thanks to Anthony and Tiffany for coordinating all the logistics, Anthony in particular was so helpful from start to finish, always available, responded immediately to any question, and just made the whole process incredibly easy. An especially big thanks to our installer Bobby and his crew who did such an exceptional job carefully removing the old system and doing a beautiful install of the new one. They also completely reworked the AC closet, moving the system forward and sealing everything off cleanly, what was once a poorly converted linen closet now has potential for usable space behind it. Whereas the old system sounded like a jet engine taking off, the new Mitsubishi is astonishingly quiet, the condenser is outside our bedroom and you hear literally nothing. It works flawlessly and has been keeping the house perfectly cool through what's shaping up to be a hot summer. This was not an easy install either. The house, like many older homes, is full of quirks and Diamond did an amazing job working around all the pitfalls that come with squeezing a central HVAC system into a house not originally designed for one. Everyone at Diamond was a total pleasure to work with and have in our home. Their pricing was fair and reasonable and the quality of their workmanship is just excellent. I have owned this 50-year-old house for 23 years. Originally in poor shape, we did a lot of work on…read moreit, including a new A/C system, installed by Mr. Bryant himself (may he rest in peace). Bryan of Aire Serve came by on Tuesday (at my request) to look over and test my A/C unit. Not that anything was malfunctioning, but we had not inspected it for over six years. I thought the duty cycle was a bit longer than usual, perhaps indicating a loss of refrigerant. Bryan is well trained, polite, and professional. As an engineer, I like to see the data, and it turned out all the parameters (pressures, temperatures, current draw, etc.) were within normal ranges. I suppose the hot weather recently, taxed my system some, resulting in the longer duty cycles. I have stored photos of all the data readouts which Aire Serve provided me subsequently. Aire Serve has been doing our HVAC maintenance for over 10 years, and I could not be more satisfied with their service and personnel.

I got a call back quickly and by 9am a technician, Andy, was at my house. He was pleasant, answered all my questions, and quickly assessed the issue. He presented me with a clear description of the problem and then walked me through the necessary repairs. He didn't try to up-sell me on anything, and within about an hour the entire repair was done and our AC was back to working conditions, all for a reasonable price. In fact, it's now running colder than it was before! I'll definitely consider an annual maintenance plan and will for sure be calling Aire Serv again for any HVAC issues. Our AC had stopped working because the condensate drain line was clogged,…read moreand Jay had come out and quickly diagnosed the issue, cleared the blockage, and got everything working again VERY quickly. He also installed a new cleanout/access valve on the condensate line, which should make future maintenance much easier. What impressed me most was that he went the extra mile and checked the entire drainage setup. He noticed dark buildup inside the small tubing near our sink, removed and thoroughly cleaned it, and then reconnected the tubing much more efficiently. The previous setup had excess tubing that was bending/kinking, which may have contributed to the drainage problem. Jay took the time to explain what he was doing and why, and he was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire visit. He replaced my filters, walked me through what caused the problem, and gave me some helpful advice (and a little lecture ) about maintenance and things I can do differently to help my system last longer. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He explained that he can get my AC fixed and running today, but because of the age and condition of the system, it would probably make more sense financially to start thinking about replacing it rather than continuing to put money into repairs. With three kids at home and this heat, getting our AC back up and running today was definitely important! Jay was kind, patient, never pushy, and made sure I understood all of my options.
