EPW did a stellar job installing my water ionizer/ water filter. Even though this is not a typical service offering they were able to accommodate my request. Jordan in the office took the time to watch the installation videos I sent which made me feel confident they understood what was in store. Will and Stephèn came on time and were very professional. They figured out best way to make the connection given the limitations of my faucet and even made a trip to Lowe's to get a needed part. They did a great job on the installation. Although the job took longer than expected they adhered to the original 'guesstimate' quote that Jordan gave me over the phone ahead of the job. We needed a replacement of our hot water heater. We received a quote from a few area plumbers, including an outrageously high quote from Abacus Plumbing, who also pushed hard for a quick decision. Lee of EPW quoted a much lower price and did not try to steer us toward the more expensive option. He showed up on-time this morning and did the job quickly and neatly. I called EPW at 8:30pm, fully expecting to have to leave a message. Imagine my surprise when the phone was answered by a real person named "Boy"! He took my name, phone # and address along with a description of the problem. My original, 11 year-old disposal had finally started leaking really bad , and the bucket under the sink wasn't cutting it anymore. I had hesitated to call anyone because the last plumber at my house (who rooted out the kitchen drains) quoted me an exorbitant price to replace the disposal. Boy told me they could do an install for me and that I would get a call in the morning. He asked what time was best for me? I said anytime after 10 am. Lee called around 11:30am and said it would be about an hour and sure enough, Lee and Jordan showed up on time. They took their shoes off at the door, my dog was happy to meet them, and they quickly installed the new garbage disposal that had been sitting in my garage for months, waiting for my nephew to install it. I had called EPW based on the other reviews I read and I was not disappointed in any way. These guys were on time, provided professional service, and charged a very reasonable price. My water heater have a dripping leakage for weeks, I called the XX home warranty Co( where I signed up for three year warranty) ask for repair service, when their contractor came and inspected the problem, then reported to the warranty Co. They rejected to pay, because the leak is from the main storage tank, they are not covered (read carefully of the coverage excluding, most costly damage are all in the excluding). Then I turned to the Home depot and Loews, hope to buy their merchandise and have their professional installation. However, the contractor give the evaluation costs extremely high, can you imaging they ask an basic installation charge $599 and additional attic install charge $149? or, extra roof sealing charge? and, you have to pay for additional parts fee? definitely unacceptable! finally I search for any plumbing company from the web, who can give me a reasonable offer. At least I called 6-8 different company, Most of the Plumbing Co want you to pay a small amount of $ to inspect and give you an evaluated price quote, Only EPW Services LLC can tell you on the phone the fact of their service charge range before they came to your house, give you the price, size, and quality of the water heater they will install, and the time frame they can offer to finish the job, let you to compare with others. So I immediately decided to use their service yesterday, EPW arranged a team of two nice young man, Lee and Jordan, came today around 10AM, they installed two water heaters on two difference attic locations and clean out the working spot and stairway. remove the junk water heaters, They did a wonderful job and finished in less than 3 hours. And, I would tell you one more things, the total price quote from this company is very reasonable and much lower than those named professional contractor. Contacted them to provide quote on exterior gas connection. Arrived several hours late to appointment for quote. Upon inspection of job they provided quote over phone. I called back later to request written quote and said I was interested in proceeding with work. I was then told the owner was no longer interested in the job with no further explanation. This was quite frustrating as I had explained what I wanted before they came out to provide quote in first place. I guess the job wasn't big enough for them (though it certainly isn't cheap to do anything with your gas lines). read more

Had a plumbing leak from a PVC pipe that had a nail in it in the garage. Reached out on Yelp and Jordan (dispatcher) replied promptly. Next thing Lee & Jerome were out here to repair the damaged pipe. With beams running all across, it was a tight area to work with but Lee rolled up his sleeves and put in some hard work to get the job done! Great experience with EPW services in Spring. Mr. Edmund took my call on a water heater problem. Pilot light wouldn't stay lit. Turned out it needed the gas control valve replaced. Mr. Edmund came after hours and took care of the problem right away. He was very professional and friendly. Best part our water heater was still under warranty so Mr. Edmund didn't collect from us but handled all the paperwork to collect from the water heater company. Repipe Specialists of Texas and EPW Services (sub contractor) only receive a one star review based upon our experience of over six months to address and correct the damage caused by their crew during installation. In the end after engineer reports and custom steel braces installed at the expense of EPW and our selves as the home owner, the issues was finally resolved (after six + months). From what I have learned, there is a long history of problems with EPW Services instalation work yet Repipe Specialists of Texas continues to partner with this company. My only advice is to retain an attorney up front and not try and work the issue out with either company. In the end you do get what you pay for, we received structural damage to our home and poor service but we did get a 10% discount for all our troubles. I would not recommend based upon my experience with sub contractor EPW Services or Repipe Specialists of Texas unwillingness to take ownership and responsibility of the outcomes. read more

Stay away from this business!!!! They flat out lie to you and throw their technicians under the bus. I had a water heater put in and at the time of enlisting their service I was told I needed a new flex line to be up to code. I paid for the new line. About two months after installation I had an AC guy in my attic who informed me that my flex line was out of code. EPW lied about providing the service. I contacted them and they came to put in a new line. Of course because of their initial lie and fraud I had to miss more work for them to come back. They then said they had put in a sediment trap. A week later my AC guy is back in the attic and informed me there wasn't a sediment trap. Once again I called the business and the person I spoke to blamed it on his technicians. At no time did they take responsibility for their lying and fraud. There are a lot of other businesses out there that have integrity. When the owner of his business throws his own workers under the bus that is a very bad sign. For your safety and peace of mind use another business. read more

Amazing! Within a couple of minutes, EPW fixed my garbage disposal by having me use an Allen wrench. They didn't come to my house, just suggested something to try. Only reason I'm giving 3 star opposed to 1 is because the 2 guys that showed up were very friendly and showed up exactly when they said they would on Easter Weekend. Now on to the rest, The water coming out of my kitchen faucet had an electric current and would shock us if we put our hand under the running water. I narrowed the issue down to the water heat so I call several places in advance until I got to EPW Services to get it looked at and taken care of. When I called I specifically asked if there was a service charge to come out and diagnose it, I was told there is no charge to come out, only the repairs. The guys come out and look at the electrical hook up on my water heater and see the ground wire was disconnected, they attempt to reconnect but say I will need to get a crimp to do so as they were unable to secure it by tightening the screw on the wire and did not have any in the truck. They also quote me $875 to replace the water heater because since it's over 10 years old, they prefer not to fix it and is best to replace since there is a short somewhere within the unit (the electric current in the water.) Before they leave, they charged me $125 for a service call (when I called ahead I was told they only charge for repairs) when they did not repair anything, simply point out the ground was not connected. After talking with a few friends that are electricians, most common part in a water heater to go out and short is the heating elements, so I go to Lowes , buy the proper crimps to connect the ground wire, buy the 2 replacement heating elements and spent a total of $30 to fixed it myself. I did not dispute the $125 at the time because I was more concerned with getting it fixed as soon as possible. read more

I don't write a ton of reviews but for the exceptionally good or bad. They were exceptionally efficient, knowledgeable and you can tell they are the "Incredibles" when it comes to repiping. You will not regret choosing them. I've seen neighbors homes done by others and it was not a good experience. In addition, I've also seen them work on another neighbors home and saw them in action. I also got to speak with the neighbor who's home was worked on by EPW, after they were done and left. They had only glowing and positive reviews. That's how I knew they were the ones I would choose. I did my research and probably got 8-9 different quotes. I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to contractors and finding the right company. It's not always about price for me it's about trust, quality, and good experience. They were one of the fastest because they put enough guys on the project to complete it quickly and knock it out. The second day they even had double the crew to replace my mainline and finish the interior. These guys know what they're doing because they do this so often. They have two crews that only do repipes. They also found a leak from a a previous plumbing job gone bad. Who uses electrical tape to connect 2 different sized plumbing pipes? They fixed it without charge. I have no problems recommending them even to my mother in law. Kidding aside, to any family, friends, and neighbors. I give my whole hearted endorsement. They cleaned up everyday afterwards and minimized the cutting and dust as much as possible when cutting Sheetrock. read more
