Polyhedron is a wonderful store! The staff are friendly and engaging and have a real passion for games. They stay open late and host a variety of regular game nights. The store has a wide selection of games from TTRPG to board to card. You'll find Pokemon, Magic, DnD, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and much more. And the accessories! They have their own branded products, which I found an excellent business model. On my next visit, I want to come over one evening and play a game with these fun people.

This was a $30 card at the time I bought it and now worth around $45. I had simply asked if they could rectify with another card of similar value to $30. Full story: I traded in my Gengar Vmax for a Rayquaza V with Eli. That card ended up being fake/ counterfeit. I tried to go back and see if they could fix it for me, they refused, the manager Chris acted like it's impossible because he's 15 years in the business. He said he "wanted" to fix the issue but said he was not going to give me a card of equal value and offered no solutions because he said he could tell I was frustrated. I think anyone who finds out they traded a real card for a fake one would be frustrated, after essentially being told they must be lying. I never cursed, and although I do have a loud voice in general, I never raised my voice at them. Since Chris looks at every Pokemon card himself before it gets put on the shelf (as he told me himself), and he never misses one, I'm left to think they must be intentionally selling off decent quality fakes trying to scam people who don't know any better. Can't speak for magic but I'd recommend not trusting any Pokemon cards from here. Don't be like me, always check cards with a flashlight even at game shops. In response to the stores remark: Since their trades have no receipts or documentation. They leave you with no way to verify on purpose so they don't have to accept any liability. Also, if I was the one trying to scam the shop, it would be for a lot more than $30. There are better card shops in town, I'll have to avoid this one I guess over a measly $30.

Literally stood there for several minutes waiting and trying to get her attention from her phone. And then when we finally did she couldn't be bothered to look up and as we were asking for help she spoke over us to the bald boss for her order we probably could have walked out with what we did have- but opted to leave it on the counter. What is unfortanate ... this is the general trend we have experienced. So I guess we just don't need to come back.

As the location is EMPTY!! If it was a TEMPORARY CLOSURE, then I don't think the location wouldn't be wiped clean and near empty! I sort of feel like if the location/store that the whole issue happened with originally, just hadn't attempted to steal and screw over an elderly person, then all these issues following, probably wouldn't have happened. Being associated with a company (regardless if you are franchised or not) that has caused the kind of issues and problems, overall isn't going to look good on the entire company. That location that did this, ran a very dirty business with zero integrity, and doing that will absolutely cause problems. Went on a Sunday around noon…read more As a mom, I appreciated three things. - their hours of operation which helps to entertain our child over the weekend lull - they had a full changing station with supplies outside the two bathrooms which also had changing stations - the staff entertained my child's questions and curiosity I have no idea about how great their selection is seeing as I'm not that into LEGO's but looked good? And I found what I needed. Don't know much about the value but the pieces that I found were only $20 so I'm happy! There were at least four staff members with one particularly checking in on me multiple times to help find certain pieces. I also liked how one staff member stepped in to help a kid. The staff are friendly and follow you up and down the cases filled to the brim with minifigs are rare pieces and keep a running tally for you. Creativity more your jam? They have giant bins where you can build your own minifig for just $5, or 3 for $13. Parent of a kiddo ans not sure which minifig to get? Prebuilt minifigs in little globes are also available. This is also a resale shop, so feel free to sell your old bricks here. You'll get the most for sealed packages but sets with instructions and boxes sell too.
