Horrible for business. DO NOT SELL THERE! Waited 2 hours for the owner to show back up after being told it would only take maybe an hour. The owner finally shows up knowing Im awaiting to sell a lot or most cards to him. He proceeds to hang with buddies at the front desk or snack for the third time in the back office. Guy was a complete tool and is a reason why the hobby gets a bad wrap. Offers horrible percentages of cards he can sell next day and wont trade new sealed product. COULD NOT BE MORE OF A GOLD DIGGER. After dealing with that and having him pick out the cards he wanted I did him the courtesy of finding all prices for him because of course he was also too lazy to do that. My family waited in the car for OVER 4 hours with his knowledge of that to try and super low ball my cards. Then when I give him an offer he responds nvm I dont want to buy at all. WoW what a POS. Hope he continues to fail in his business so other families can avoid shops like this in the future. BTW refused to honor the topps mvp buyback as well. So dont go there. Waste of time, patience and lacks respect and lacks dignity. Would not be surprised if he weighs packs and only sells crap ones. Much like many other reviewers have noted, dealing with George feels less like a legitimate business transaction and more like participating in a case study on how not to run a business. Prices are inflated well beyond market value, communication is conspicuously absent, and accountability appears to be optional. I participated in an online card break over a month ago and, despite prompt payment on my end, have yet to receive the cards, or even a meaningful update. At this point, the operation resembles less a retail business and more a slow motion test of how long a customer will wait before accepting they've been taken for granted. If professionalism, transparency, or basic follow-through matter to you, this is a store best avoided altogether. The owner George will try to manipulate any deals made in his favor and will gaslight you in an attempt to make you take the deal. There is a young lady working on the TCG side of the store that will also offer you the lowest percent on sealed trades as well as singles. Every employee in the shop will give you a different percentage than the other making negotiations confusing. Ben is the only employee at the shop that you should deal with when trying to make trades or sell your items. The man actually takes his time to go over everything with you but aside from that you should steer clear of anyone else offering assistance. All in all this is the last LCS you should give your business to. Tucson TCG is the equivalent of people buying out toilet paper during covid so that they can sell it at a 500% mark up. read more

Have driven up & down Speedway and never realized that this gem was there. I have visited a few of the shops in Tucson during my visits to the area, but somehow missed this one. Glad, I finally found it. I was greeted as I walked in the door, and had a little banter with the Staff about different forms of heat (dry, wet etc.) while I walked around the store. Plenty of space divided between Sports, Comics and Gaming with tables on one side and mainly sports on the other side. I have many hobbies which include comics & sports so the combination appeals to me. The Comic side (what I was primarily looking at on this visit) was well represented with new stuff, wall stock and my favorite old stuff to include the $1 Bins (the best finds). The young lady working on the comic side was super friendly and informative about what the shop had (pointing me towards the $ Boxes). She also suggested that I could move the boxes over to the tables if needed or take a chair to the boxes. Which was great for this old guy as the back acts up when digging through long boxes. I found some good stuff (comfortably) including one that has eluded me for awhile. I also found a bobblehead head for $5 on the clearance table which combined with my comic finds made for a good day. While checking out the young lady offered individual bags/boards for only 15cents each which was great as I am traveling. She was so awesome, I managed to overlook the fact that she was wearing a Dallas sweatshirt - LOL Overall a great stop for me and I will visit again my next trip to Tucson. read more

Some of the nicest people I have ever met! I ended up coming here at 630 and staying for hours. They treat you like a friend the first day you come in. I am not from here and who knows when I will be back but if I lived here I would end up spending an inordinate amount of money just cause this is the place to just hangout. These guys are absolute scumbags. my son had cards we had not only looked up ourself, but took to 2 other card vendor/ dealers well the first two had an appraisal for about 20 cards all together in the 2600.00 range both were within 200.00 of each other. These "guys" were at 200.00 to buy them all I was disgusted by the way they would even degrade a child's hobby but also try and rip of a kid someone who enjoys the same hobby these people do and they try and make its seem like it's a lot of money and tell him he can get this or that with his money. it made me sick so I just left and went to the north side of town to a great and Honest shop and sold the cards for 600.00 below value for his honesty. the young sandlot boys in the front know nothing and I wish it was not like that but it was very unfortunate I encourage everyone to think twice before coming here because you will leave with a low....amazingly low offer that will try and be justified. cheers read more

I quit shopping here over twenty years ago when it changed from a baseball card shop to a day care. There was always tons of loud children running around. The store has good selection of new comics and some good deals on their back-issue selection and some prices that were a touch higher than I prefer, but weren't overboard. This place is amazing. I have a student who is really into Yu-Gi-Oh card dueling. From the first tournament he attended, he was welcomed with open arms and had wonderful interactions with people there. He loves going and I enjoy the venue as well. What's great is that he doesn't have to feel like an outsider because he is a new player. Everyone, especially Zach, has made him feel at home and helped him to hone his skills. I keep trying to like this place. I spend a lot on comics every week. Every once in a blue moon I go here thinking "This time it will be better." I just wish that was true. After avoiding the place for months I went in. Could not get anyone to help me in the first place. Then at the register I was told that one of the issues I took off the new rack was $15 not the cover price. I declined to buy it. I did buy several variant covers as well as regular covers as per their policy. I checked out and left. Then when I got home I noticed I was paying more for both variant and regular covers and items I asked on the price cost more than I was told. I called to complain and was told that it was the fault of the price scanner. Which makes no sense because I asked. For me it is not worth the trip to go back again. read more

Priced reasonably, maybe a little less than Amazing discoveries, but they don't have as much board games as amazing discoveries. I went here to look through the Magic the Gathering commons/uncommons boxes in the back of the store. Normally the bulk commons and uncommons SHOULD be .10c and .25c respectively. I've purchased cards here numerous times and have never encountered any issues before until today. As I brought my cards to the counter the employee proceeded to individually look up each card through the computer instead of honoring the normal prices for the cards. I spent over 2 hours of my valuable time finding these cards. Essentially, I am doing their job sorting through their boxes and finding decent cards without being payed. As a collector, this is a huge turn off for card shops such as this. I used to buy packs and singles here but now I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

They always seem to be in a great mood and they spend as much time with me as I need them to answer my questions.
