Polyhedron is a wonderful store! The staff are friendly and engaging and have a real passion for games. They stay open late and host a variety of regular game nights. The store has a wide selection of games from TTRPG to board to card. You'll find Pokemon, Magic, DnD, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and much more. And the accessories! They have their own branded products, which I found an excellent business model. On my next visit, I want to come over one evening and play a game with these fun people.

They traded me a fake Pokemon card, when I brought it to their attention they asked me to come back…read morethe next day. When I did come back today they told me to leave. This was a $30 card at the time I bought it and now worth around $45. I had simply asked if they could rectify with another card of similar value to $30. Full story: I traded in my Gengar Vmax for a Rayquaza V with Eli. That card ended up being fake/ counterfeit. I tried to go back and see if they could fix it for me, they refused, the manager Chris acted like it's impossible because he's 15 years in the business. He said he "wanted" to fix the issue but said he was not going to give me a card of equal value and offered no solutions because he said he could tell I was frustrated. I think anyone who finds out they traded a real card for a fake one would be frustrated, after essentially being told they must be lying. I never cursed, and although I do have a loud voice in general, I never raised my voice at them. Since Chris looks at every Pokemon card himself before it gets put on the shelf (as he told me himself), and he never misses one, I'm left to think they must be intentionally selling off decent quality fakes trying to scam people who don't know any better. Can't speak for magic but I'd recommend not trusting any Pokemon cards from here. Don't be like me, always check cards with a flashlight even at game shops. In response to the stores remark: Since their trades have no receipts or documentation. They leave you with no way to verify on purpose so they don't have to accept any liability. Also, if I was the one trying to scam the shop, it would be for a lot more than $30. There are better card shops in town, I'll have to avoid this one I guess over a measly $30.

Location is completely empty, and even though the one paper (that they have posted 4 TIMES) says…read morethey 'whatever you may have heard, we're not going anywhere', & that 'we'll be back open soon', it definitely doesn't look like they are coming back. As the location is EMPTY!! If it was a TEMPORARY CLOSURE, then I don't think the location wouldn't be wiped clean and near empty! I sort of feel like if the location/store that the whole issue happened with originally, just hadn't attempted to steal and screw over an elderly person, then all these issues following, probably wouldn't have happened. Being associated with a company (regardless if you are franchised or not) that has caused the kind of issues and problems, overall isn't going to look good on the entire company. That location that did this, ran a very dirty business with zero integrity, and doing that will absolutely cause problems. I'd genuinely like to think that maybe this company won't do things like this again, but people are greedy and dishonest these days, so I'm sure this isn't the last time things like what happened will happen again. I have no idea if this location has also done the kind of shady things that the original store did or not, but if not, then the owner/franchisee would be VERY WISE, to sever ties with the company & either start their own business, or possibly rebrand. If this owner hasn't participated in the kind of dirty and wrong things that the other location(s) have, then truly I do hope that they are able to branch out and have a successfully running business again. The Bricks & Minifigs Company overall has left a pretty sour and nasty taste in many people's mouth & many of us won't give our business to them simply on principle & because screwing over people is wrong. TJ, I really hope that you and your team/staff are able to rebrand and/or branch away from the Bricks & Minifigs company, as many of us in the community would be happy to support a locally owned business who has broken away from big corporate, and has given customers a different type of option/business to support that is local & not a franchise of a big corporate business .

And I found what I needed. Don't know much about the value but the pieces that I found were only $20 so I'm happy! There were at least four staff members with one particularly checking in on me multiple times to help find certain pieces. I also liked how one staff member stepped in to help a kid. She didn't scold him about climbing on the bulk supply area but just suggested a stool. Nice approach! I'm glad that they opened this location and will gladly go back.
