Great use of wall space
James M.

Stopped here due to the artwork seen on outside of building, what better build-up to anticipation on what is inside then cool murals on the outside?, inside is very clean, well-lit, and organized. Greeted as we walked in the door (cool), headed over to the $2, and $1 boxes- Pulled a couple I needed (about 18) which was very nice. So interesting and sought after books for the cheap, not just unsellable garbage nobody wants "Bonus Points" for sure. Loved lay-out, Titles easy to read and find, definitely loved the system. Drawers that pulled out and very easy to open, look, and see what is available with no muscle strain. Only issue I had was my favorite titles were on bottom (Alphabet) so still had to get low (sucks for us old guys) but definitely way better system than most shops. Managed to find an issue that I have been searching for, which left me with one more to close out the first run of Wolverine (full series). Upon check-out it came up in conversation and Eric went in the back and brought out the last issue I needed to complete my collection. Boarded & bagged it and sold it to me at a decent price. Really enjoyed the conversation, the customer service, and the great finds. Definitely will be back on my next visit to Tucson.

Great design.

I walked into this place and it felt off. There was a certain air about this place that felt tense and uncomfortable right from the get go. It turned out to be exactly that way. I browsed around looking for my X-Men comics and really liked the drawer system they have for the back issues. It's so organized and easy to look through. When (I assume) the owner Matt came by to ask if I needed assistance, I asked where they kept their wall books? He asked "wall books?!" (A commonly known term) with an annoyed tone to his voice and a face to match. I replied "You know, your high end/special books?" He directed me to a case that he let me look at. I was really shocked at the prices. Inflated doesn't do them justice. $80 for a book that's usually around $50-$60 at other places is just unbelievable. I left and I was happy I didn't find anything I wanted because I wouldn't want to give them my money. The store looks nice and the storage units they have for the back issues are really nice, but when I'd mentioned my bad experience with a couple of other locals they all said that it wasn't an uncommon experience at all.

Weird vibe, creepy owner. They only do comics. Looked down on us for wanting to buy Pokémon stuff for our grandkids. Sketchy location also

Horrible for business. DO NOT SELL THERE! Waited 2 hours for the owner to show back up after being…read moretold it would only take maybe an hour. The owner finally shows up knowing Im awaiting to sell a lot or most cards to him. He proceeds to hang with buddies at the front desk or snack for the third time in the back office. Guy was a complete tool and is a reason why the hobby gets a bad wrap. Offers horrible percentages of cards he can sell next day and wont trade new sealed product. COULD NOT BE MORE OF A GOLD DIGGER. After dealing with that and having him pick out the cards he wanted I did him the courtesy of finding all prices for him because of course he was also too lazy to do that. My family waited in the car for OVER 4 hours with his knowledge of that to try and super low ball my cards. Then when I give him an offer he responds nvm I dont want to buy at all. WoW what a POS. Hope he continues to fail in his business so other families can avoid shops like this in the future. BTW refused to honor the topps mvp buyback as well. So dont go there. Waste of time, patience and lacks respect and lacks dignity. Would not be surprised if he weighs packs and only sells crap ones. Guy is clearly struggling with having integrity. -another patron the same day

Why not put up some fun/colorful signs telling people : cosplay this way gameplay this way it's like you have to walk 10 miles to find something I'm older and I was hoping it would be more adult oriented. Everything was kiddy, kiddy. Which is great, but there are nerds out there.. why not a cold water cart or two - giving out bottles . I'm 73 and almost pasted out from dehydration ( they wouldn't let me bring my glass bottled tea in. Again no signs Food this way ! Asked an employee or two for help and they were young n ignorant ( but NICE). Again this could be a fun , delightful happening but instead I and so many I saw, were stuck in Survivor mode- Sad. It would be OK if event charged adults a little bit more and provided a lot more.!!

They only got a few names, and not big ones, for autographs and so on. Since they did not get any big names, they should be doing to big events to make up for it. They did not do that either. It was great that they had the traditional arcade games set up to play as well as board games you could check out, but other than that there was not really anything of note. The panels were only discussions with fans, they did not have any panels where you were able to learn something new - it would have been nice to get the classes instead of simply discussions. The vendors were nice, though not a lot of diversity between them... most sold comics, Funko POPs, and mystery boxes that were not worth the money. This Comic-Con is small, good for starters, but for the price you pay for a ticket, was not really worth it.
