I'm glad I chose Homeward because it had a welcoming vibe and a variety of genres. I loved seeing so many BICOP authors and book selections, while also having comics, kid books, stickers, etc. The two people that were working were also very kind. Which is a really sad thing because they have great selection and ok prices. One of these times I asked someone for the bathroom code, the cashier said word-for-word "I have like 12 things going on right now, I can't help you".... I had waited in line to get that response? Another time, I was looking for a specific book and once again, waited in line to ask for help... and had eyes rolled at me. Just genuinely disappointed in the service to a point where I, a customer who has been spending their money at this Bookmans for 5 years, do not want to come back due to a lack of respect of the patrons.
