Great bus that takes you from downtown Vancouver to Whistler village. It's only $44 round trip which I think is a pretty good deal. Just make sure that you arrive at the bus location at least 10 minutes before because if you don't arrive on time the bus will leave without you. read more

I took a round trip on 2/24. No problem during the morning ride from Vancouver downtown to Whistler village. 4 pm ride back to Vancouver was simply not safe. Most of the way, the driver was at least 10 to 20 km over the speed limit on a winding, wet road and as a passenger, I did not feel safe at all. I don't know whether the driver was under pressure to be on time by the company or this was a case of one reckless bus driver. I emailed the company with my feedback, but have not heard back. This is in regards to epic ride in univseral studios MONSTERS. This ride effects is amazing. SOMETHING amazing happen during the ride. So I got on the ride because it wasn't a Rollercoaster. The effects was a 10 out a 10. That day I couldn't do much because I woke up with my lower back hurting. This ride have a vibrating effect during the ride. That morning I could barely tie my shoes. When I got off the ride I had No pain at all. I felt the vibrating effects hitting my lower body. I don't understand the effects but it made me able to enjoy the park all day. It really took me by surprise. It may not work for everyone, but it was better than seeking a.doctor. Keep this ride going it truly help me have an amazing day at the park. I use the service a LOT and in comparison Skylynks there are a few reason why Epic is getting the star. 1st reason is Skylynks left early once I missed the bus AND Epic saved the day! 2nd I always enjoy when the Auzzy bus driver is working he always says nice things at the end and beginning of the trip and makes everyone smile! The 3rd and final reason is actually also the same reason why Skylynx is also a great service, Skylynks makes stops in smaller towns where Epic doesn't and u arrive at your destination 15 minutes earlier then Skylynx but so great when u do need to stop in thoes destjnations! I'm satisfied with their service. I planned to go to Whistler before but didn't buy this ticket because of the weather issue. So as early morning forecast showed "partially sunny" and decided to buy. It was last minute but I'm glad I made it. The receipt shows Burrard x Melville st for pick up but actually it's Hyatt Regency's parking. I hope they added the details otherwise I almost missed the bus. No toilet in the bus. On the way to Whistler, we had no wifi and but on the way back Vancouver they just started to test Wifi service. My phone didn't connect though. I hope it works when you are board. My tips: on the way to Whisler, sit left side. On the way back to Vancouver, sit right side. You will enjoy scenaric view. And this is not for this company, but for other passenger...I was shocked with some people (they are older than me!) Have no manner. They showed up after departure time and they couldn't sit together. Then without asking me, they moved my backpack from my side. As I believed no more coming to bus, I put my backpack first. The driver and ride was awesome and good. However it only get 3 stars because of the customer services. I left my backpack in the bus and I emailed and texted the company within 1 hour. It was an evening ride so I could not reach the company by phone. I called them immediately on the next day morning and they just tell me to email them. A days has passed since I emailed, and there is no response to acknowledge the email. They did nothing at all to help you retrieve your lost items. Lucky for me I have an Air Pod so I am able to track my backpack. I have to tracked the Air Pod for 24 hours before I managed to get back my backpack. Well, 2 years later they seem to have eliminated every possible point I could complain about. It seems that they now have a more widespread use of highway coaches on their services, which is greatly appreciated due to their relative speed and comfort, especially when compared to the refitted school buses that were once so common. We took Epic rides from Whistler to Vancouver with our bikes. The driver was super friendly, nice, knowledgeable. I give him 5+ stars. The ride itself went smoothly, our bikes went underneath and the other 4 bikes of other customers went on the back in the rack. The bus was full, but we got to the station in Whistler early and got good seats. It left right on time. The 3 stars is for the woman who answered the phone when I had some queries about the bike transport. She was rude, dismissive, laughed at me for asking basic questions. We loved the ride, whistler and all the entertainment there and will do it again if we come back in town yet this time NOT with epic, for-sure. My wife had to reserve ticket like 9-10 pm for next day. Despite their site advertising that tickets are much cheaper for kids, online buying did not have that option and we had to buy full-priced tickets for 2 adult and a 12 yo and 5.5 yo kids. When we reached out to them next day and explained, the most weird reasoning was delivered by them: The kid's price are only available if you call us, and not online?! I don't understand how this bus service can get anything but five stars. I mean, seriously. It's $35 round trip from Vancouver to Whistler. How is that even possible? I wish we had something like this in Los Angeles to Mammoth and Big Bear. Checking in was a breeze both times. On the way up, the bus was immaculate and gorgeous. There weren't many passengers, so it was quiet and spacious. On the way down, the bus was completely full and a slightly older model with cloth seats. It was filled with grungy youngsters who work hospitality in different places throughout the year. It was interesting to hear all of their conversations and note how different some people's lives are when compared to mine, but at the same time, the greasy heads in front of me made me slightly worried about putting my head on the headrests, as it seemed they hadn't showered (or at least washed their hair...) for QUITE some time. Still, it's an amazing deal and service, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it again in the future. read more

My bag got stolen INSIDE the bus and the company did absolutely nothing to compensate me for the issue, they didn't care about the fact that two homeless people got inside the bus and took my bag with more than 2k worth of things, they basically didn't care at all, so yes, your things ARE NOT SAFE even if you leave them inside the bus and they wont care on doing the right thing. read more

Customer service is absolute garbage. They do not care about you at all. My advice, even though it seems risky. Is to purchase the ticket right there. If anything goes wrong, you're a bit late. Miss the bus, weather conditions, anything happens. They'll just keep the money and won't help you at all. I missed my departure, they canceled my whole reservation and I lost my return ticket as well. Apparently, they cannot 'undo' a cancellation even upon request. What seems reasonable, was to purchase another ticket to Whistler, and use our return ticket that was already purchased. But they were quick to cancel the whole trip and just sell more tickets completely ignoring the fact that we already had a purchased ticket for our return. Great! Trip there and back was right on time, we left at the exact times that was said so make sure you're not running behind if taking. Drivers are great and don't talk in the ride so you can nap. It can be a little uncomfortable ride due to the fact that the roads are very windy but that has nothing to do with the drivers. It you get motion sickness very easy I would recommend taking something prior to taking this bus. read more

My husband and I booked to take an Epic Rides bus to Whistler for the day when we were visiting Vancouver.Unknown to us, we booked on a day when a bike race was taking place along the highway from Vancouver to Whistler. It took double the time for us to get there (4 hours) allowing us only one hour to visit the village. When I phoned Epic the next day I was told that I should have checked the schedule of events taking place around the area before booking my trip. As a tourist, I did not even think to do this. Searching for ways to get from Vancouver to Whistler led us to stumble upon his company. $35 round trip gets you a super fast and efficient way to get you to the mountains. Quick easy pick up next to the Hyatt/Burrard Station in Vancouver. The boarding process was a mad dash to get seats and unorganized. Note we went at super busy tourist season (weekend before Christmas) so they seem to run multiple buses at departing times, so it doesn't seem to matter which bus you board. They had both coach buses and school buses, but we boarded the coach for both legs of the trip, which was comfy and roomy enough. Both buses have storage for those brining gear and excess luggage as well. No bathroom onboard so make sure all is taken care of before departing. read more

-10/10 Worst experience ever! We were stuck in traffic and arrived at 1:02pm when the departure time was 1pm but the driver refused to wait or even call us ahead of time to confirm. We saw the bus leave before our eyes and ran behind it but he completely ignored. What makes it worse is that our friends were on the bus and told him that we would be there in 2 mins but he drove away anyways. Recently purchased a ticket over the phone for a round trip and the lady was very helpful. However she booked the wrong time frame for my departure. I noticed this right before checking in and called the company. I was treated with terrible customer service, blamed for not noticing it earlier and told it was my word against theres. I had to purchase two new tickets right before departure with no apology, no discount, no compassion. When asking to talk to a manager, I was told she was the manager and the owner of the company. They are always on time, so don't be late. Driver on the way up was very nice and helpful and great tour guide as well. On the way back driver was also outstanding. An excellent value for money option to get between Vancouver and Whistler! I recently used the winter service to get down from the mountain and was very happy with the trip. The bus travels between Burrard Station in downtown Vancouver and the transit centre by the gondola exchange plaza in Whistler Village. A one way trip is $24, while a return trip costs $35 (both being exclusive of taxes). The service offers a good range of departure times throughout the day, all of which leave promptly (so make sure to arrive slightly before your scheduled time). The bus, while not not the most luxurious, does the job just fine without unnecessary bells and whistles. Each bus typically also pulls a trailer, allowing plenty of room for bags and equipment. The driver was friendly, and gave passengers the option of stopping at Squamish for a bathroom break, or continuing through straight to the city, which was a nice option to have. Overall I was very happy with the service received for the price paid - no complaints here! I would definitely be happy to take Epic Rides again next time I'm in town. read more

I booked Snowbus for my family's ski vacation, from Vancouver to Whistler, but due to limited return times, ended up booking our return trip with Epic Rides. While both were similarly priced, our experience with Epic Rides was SO much better than Snowbus. While both companies use modern motor coaches, the seating on Epic Rides was more comfortable, and had high quality faux leather surfaces, similar to those found in modern cars, which felt cleaner and more luxurious than the fabric covered seats on Snowbus. The biggest difference, however, was in the quality of the drivers. The Snowbus driver had this awful habit of speeding up and slowing down repetitively, which was nauseating. He also drifted in his lane, going over the bumps in the highway divider. I was so relieved when the trip was over. In contrast, our epic rides driver was extremely smooth with his starts and stops, and just seemed more alert and with it, overall. He was also very pleasant and professional, from start to finish. While I don't know if this was just sampling bias, based on my two one way trips, I would definitely recommend Epic Rides over Snowbus. read more

Can't beat the price! A round trip bus ride from Vancouver to Whistler $35. The ride is about 1 1/2 hours long. The bus runs from 6 am Vancouver and the last bus from 9 pm Whistler. Plus they drop you right by Whistler village. There are also many pick up places. I got picked up in front of Hyatt at the Burrard stop in Vancouver. Just make sure you arrive about 15 minutes before your pickup time because the bus gets full. You need to rsvp on their website. While you wait for the bus there is a Starbucks and Tim Hortonsat the Burrard stop. Unfortunately for us, while driving to whistler our bus broke down because there was an anti-freeze leak. The driver immediately stopped the bus and got us another bus. We had to wait about 40-50 mins before boarding a school bus to Whistler. No big deal. Things happen. However since our pickup time wasn't until 9 am, when we finally got there it was 12:00pm. The half day ticket ski lift ticket started at 12:30 -3:00pm but we still need to rent our equipment. Didn't give us too much time to snowboard. read more

AWESOME shuttle from Vancouver to Whistler. I booked online and the driver had my name ready on a list when I arrived at the Burrard station. They drop you off right at the Whistler gondola and you can take a $2 city bus to the Creekside gondola from there if you need it. This is the cheapest shuttle, but the bus itself is comfortable and the ride is quick. The driver seemed really nice. Really can't beat the price or the service. I took the Ridebooker/Whistler Shuttle back from Whistler to the Vancouver airport and the Epic Rides shuttle bus was just as nice as theirs for half the cost. read more

We needed to get from Whistler to the Vancouver airport but all the shuttle options were at least $65 with many stops. Our Vancouver hotel concierge recommended Epic rides which is $35 for a round trip ride from VC to Whistler Village. They are not allowed to sell one way tickets so if you cancel with enough notice, you can get credit for your next one way ride within 3 months. We had enough time allotted for travel to the airport so we thought Epic plus the $4 Canada line ticket was the best value. The pickup spot in Whistler is at the Gondola Transit Exchange which is easy to find if you've explored the village enough. The shuttle is comfortable and has a trailer for all the luggage and gear. The drop off in Vancouver is at Burrard Station/ Royal Centre Mall so we were able to grab a quick lunch from the food court. From there we walked about 5 minutes in the rain to the Vancouver City Centre station to jump on the Canada line. I'm glad we found Epic rides and would highly recommend it. read more

Absolutely perfect round trip for the 4 of us. I'm used to catching another bus from YVR to Whistler which was costing well over $400 for two adults and two teens. That's a huge expense when you are flying in from California. I searched for some better and more economical options and found Epic Rides. Yes, we had to jump in a cab to get to the Hyatt in downtown Vancouver which cost around $40 or so with tip, but we still saved over $250 in the end. I would recommend Epic Rides to anyone wishing to get to or from Whistler. The bus was on time both ways and the driver was a professional who made the trip comfortable.
