The day she was moving in, she came to my front door extremely rude, intimidating and very aggressively over parking. My partner and I were very stunned by the way she was speaking to me. We were very confused as to why a new neighbor would speak so rudely to someone she didn't know. Well, we later found out that Leia is a Reaction Realty employee and a relative. Her parents own Reaction Realty, and they own the property where I lived. Before she moved next door to me, I had lived there very happily and peacefully for 20 years without any issues, but the minute she moved next door, my life turned into a nightmare. It turned into a "very toxic and trashy environment". Every time I used to see her, she was very unfriendly, impolite and rude to the point that I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe around her. When I called Reaction Realty to bring up the parking issue, and how offensive she was to me. Sandra, her mom stated, "You cannot park there anymore because the new tenant needs the space to park and charge her car". Oh! And she's paying extra for parking. Do you really think that Sandra was going to charge her daughter to park there? I don't think so! My 20-year parking privileges were taken away just like that because Leia kept claiming that I was blocking her car, (There is enough space to park 3 cars there) Well, two months after I had mentioned this, Reaction Realty kicked me out of my apartment. There were trash bags with dog poop on her porch every day. I guess she was too lazy to walk to the trash cans, which were close by. Well, I had to walk past her porch to get to my car, so I had to see the trash every day, and that made me feel extremely uncomfortable also. I don't think "client relations" is one of Leia's strong skills because her first and ongoing interactions with me were extremely "self-entitled", unfriendly, very impolite and rude. Because of the negative experience that I was having with her I didn't want to go out of the apartment. I felt trapped in my own house. I was so stressed out and afraid that I sought legal counsel who advised me that I should file a formal complaint with the San Bernardino Court because they felt that this woman was harassing me, which I did, but after I thought about it, I decided to not to go through with it because I didn't want them retaliating against me or throw me out of my apartment. Well, they kicked me out anyway. They didn't care that I was loyal tenant, and that I had already lived there for 20yrs, and by the way, I am a senior citizen.

The seller of a place we were buying "chose" this real estate company (along with Clear View Escrow company, a subsidiary), that should've been our first warning (they were pieces-of-work). So, we wire our earnest money from our bank to their account as we do not live in the state and as THEY insisted. The seller's back out so we should get a refund for the earnest money deposited. They had a check "ready at the front desk with the receptionist"...i.e. they didn't even notice we were not in-state/nearby, let alone that we wire-transferred in the first place so they should do the same. They didn't even let us know it was ready until WE contacted them (thanks so much Sr. Escrow Officer Wendy Alfaro for such lackluster work). After we contact them, they claim they didn't have our information to contact us AND want to charge us $60.00 wire-fee. Eventually, they said they'd mail the check via FedEx Overnight...but we come to find out it was sent FedEx 2Day. If you find out that you're working with this company, let alone this Sr. Escrow Officer...good luck to you.

I asked for the program rules but Johanna and April said they can't share the rules with me. My wife found the rules in a PDF on their website. But they don't follow those rules. They asked my mother in law to authorize me as her spokeperson using a notary public letter, she did, but they disregarded her request. They tried to have my mother in law sign for testing services which they said were provided, but aren't required (per the program rules), nor were they performed. Their program rules says they should share the approved contractor list with the homeowner, but they refuse - if they did, one could work with the contractors directly. The contractors they select give quotes higher than market prices. They didn't like when I negotiated with the contractors, but they also don't negotiate. Negotiating is not forbidden in their program rules, which again, they don't follow. This NPHS program is very fishy and shady, and they're not following their own rules. Having someone sign for services not performed is ILLEGAL for both CA state and Federal funds. The City of Riverside should consider contracting with a more professional company to administer their program.

I was told I would expect an offer the next day after the seminar and I did not... fast forward a few weeks later there is no communication between me and the company and this is super frustrating cause when you promise someone a job and don't deliver especially after I explained the situation I was in you decide to forget your employees. Moral of the story, if you don't have jobs to offer then don't advertise that you do.
