I have visited this location numerous times. The owner (male) does a fantastic job. His wife on the other hand, I will never return again. I specifically asked that my acrylic nail NOT be peeled off of my natural nail (it's damaging and it hurts). She didn't listen to me and tried ripping the acrylic off and holding my hand tight (which resulted in me aggressively pulling my hand away from her). I will never spend a dime of my money at this location again (I also tip very well) and be treated like this. DONE. read more

Although everybody at this salon was nice and, I'm horrified by my dip set nails.... I chose white and they started turning yellow after a week. Zero complaints. Opens at 9:30 which is earlier then most places. I purchased the silver pedicure and the lady who did it was awesome!! Best foot and calf massage during a pedicure I have had. Place is very clean. I will come back soon and try again. But today was a great experience! Oh and the pedicure chairs are weird at first but then AWESOME. They do accept credit cards. No place for tip on the receipt. Unsure if you can add prior to running it as it was too late to ask so I tipped cash. read more

This was my second time coming here. They really do an amazing job. They try to make sure they know exactly what you'd like and that you leave happy. Also the prices aren't too bad I believe you pay for the quality and my nails last me 2-3 weeks without breaking or chipping. My nails here were just $50. The worst set of nails I have ever received. I left so disappointed, drove directly to another nail salon to fix my nails. At this nail salon intended to fix my nails, the staff all looked at my nails, shocked. They had to fully redo my nails from start to finish. They were horrendous. First picture is what I asked for. All the rest are what I got. The lady who helped me advised that they do not have black powder, so she wouldn't be able to do the black ombré. I asked about a picture of some black butterfly nails they have on their google page, she said they don't offer those as the lady who did those quit (yet they still have the picture of them on their website) but she could do a black tip instead. okay, false advertisement, but whatever. She then went on to explain that the black pointed tip wouldn't look good on the stiletto nail shape I wanted, but a coffin or a square nail instead. I explained that I didn't want a square nail, so we went with a coffin instead. As you can see, the thumb is messed up. She blamed it on me, which it very well could have been, but I don't remember bumping it on anything. She noticed it was messed up before she put the top coat on, and said she's already cured the nail so she cannot fix it. As you can see. All of the other nails are wavy, crooked, shooting up instead of down like a regular nail. I haven't gotten my nails done in two years and I'm so upset that this is what I receive. read more

I went here with a couple friends for a girls day out and overall they did a pretty good job but the woman that did my nails cut very deep into my toe and it has been swollen sense. The massage chairs are nice and we were just resting waiting to pay on our way out just for a few minutes while waiting for someone to come pick us up and the Lady came up to us and told us how much it would be and held out her hand and used a grabbing motion. She tried to tell me that's standard around here I said, absolutely not...I've been getting my nails done in this area since I was 12 and this place is Brand New!!! Don't tell me about my area after you try to rip me off. No price list anywhere to be found so they're def making up prices as they go. Poor job of a fill in and paint too. Ruined my shape and I got black nails, there's such a huge gap from all my nails to the cuticle. It literally looks so bad I have to go get this fixed on top the $40 fill I got. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! Got a pedicure here last week and it was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I got shellac and half of the nails have already fallen off. The nail polish looked like a child put it on and was all over the skin around my nails. They didn't rub my feet or pamper them in anyway. The water in the foot soaker was cold. Not a good experience, I will never be going back. $55 for a horrible time and for my nail polish to fall off within a week. read more

The staff was super nice and friendly. However my nails look horrible. I got shellac and acrylics on my hands and they turned out awful (it cost $55 - there are no prices listed anywhere). They're much shorter than I wanted and the color is so wrong. The bottle was a pale pink/tan and there was a horrible bubble gum pink polish inside. She clipped two of them really short before she asked if I liked the length. Then I said the color wasn't right and they were too pink and she just said "well they look really nice," and left it at that. She didn't touch the skin around my nail or the cuticle, so it's still all peeled. The staff was nice and seemed knowledgeable, but it's not worth it for the horrible execution. read more

I got a pedicure here in early December. Immediately upon leaving I had pain and I knew something was wrong. Turns out the technician Lisa attempted to remove my ingrown toenails and tried to cut them out completely which is something only a doctor should do. It has been 2.5 months and I am now on my third round of antibiotics and had a surgical procedure to fix my toenails. I have spent nearly $1,000 and I'm still dealing with this. Just moved to the area and was hoping this would be my go to salon. The people are very nice and it was very clean. I got a French shellac manicure and shellac pedicure. The manicure was a little sloppy. I didn't notice at first but I even went back a few minutes later as an entire spot was missing polish. I easily get two weeks before any polish chips, except this time my nails look bad after one week. It was also more expensive than I was expecting. I just went and got a fill-in for acrylic. I went there because of the great reviews but they did a terrible job. They barely filled in my nails. Didn't cover any lifting. Didn't drill down any of the grown out cuticles. NOTHING. Then I asked for no color which she did but changed me $23 for a clear coat. I had a really great experience getting fills here and decided to return. The last time I was here, I got a new set and a pedicure. I got the same tech, who never gave me her name. She kept digging her nail under my toenails and didn't spend much time at all on the massage and sugar scrub. I wish I had just soaked my feet at home and painted my own toenails. I had to ask to soak my nails off after she ripped off three of them with no acetone. Very painful and tore up my nails like crazy. One broke below the skin and was all jacked up and raw. She put the tip right over it, so I have no pics. Glue all over my finger tips, so my skin is all split under my nails now from pulling against the glue. Also very painful. And the monomer-polymer solution was applied so thin at the base that one nail cracked down low 3 days later and has been pulling on my nail bed when any pressure is applied to it. I've never been charged extra to get a new set almond shaped, but they do here. Genuinely, I had a fantastic experience getting fills. They're great for a quick fill if you're in the area. The new set and pedi was just way too painful and shoddy to be worth it though. I will definitely drive out to my normal place next time. read more

Just recently moved back to the area and needed to leave a review. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and just moving back to Michigan I've been trying to find a great salon. Well this is not it. I had the most terrible dip manicure I've ever experienced. I've spent the last few months growing out my nails into almond shaped (almost stiletto shaped), which was evident. The tech asked me what shape I wanted and I said the exact same shape that I have now just shorter. She proceeded to then cut off the point and now I have round nails but that's not the worst part of this. About 45 minutes into the appointment she has not even started the dip. She soaked my nails TWICE to remove my previous dip. Usually they soak and get as much off as they can THEN file off. This took foreverrrrrr to soak them twice. Granted there are ZERO customers in the salon so I appreciate her taking the time but wow. I also was there at opening with my work badge and work clothes on. 50 min I had to tell her I was running out of time. The tech next to us was watching her phone looked up at me then proceeded to watch whatever video she was watching. Working in a customer service field, wouldn't you jump in and help? No she didn't. This is where it got worse. I used two dip colors--- one was poured into another receptacle and the other she just dipped my nail in the container. Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Also she got glitter on a few of my nails that is supposed to not have glitter. She would put the dip polish on sloppy and use nail polish remover to correct the sloppiness then she would dip my nail in the powder. This process alone took 10x longer. Then after dipping, she never filed the nails so they are bumpy. There is also an imperfection on one nail from the base coat she could have repaired prior to the dip but she didn't and I see that mark all the way to the top coat. After the appointment I had to file my nails because the job was not finished the dip was stuck to my skin. I will continue to go back to my salon by my office and NEVER stray again. I went here end of September based on the reviews and since I wasn't able to get to my usual place that day. I should have known walking in when there were zero customers. The pedicure was heavenly and I loved the massage chairs. I actually fell asleep. This is why I give them any stars because of the great pedicure. The manicure, on the other hand, was a waste of money. I got a dip done and the color was good. But the woman was so aggressive and in a hurry, like the place was so busy. By the next day, the top coat was already chipped. Two weeks later, the dip completely chipped off the top of one nails, breaking it in the process. Another nail had the dip crack in the middle which thankfully didn't break my nail. I've gone sometimes three weeks in between appointments but this was a disaster. I had to go much earlier. Went in with my sister to get acrylics. I had the shorter guy doing my nails and she had one of the ladies doing hers. My guy seemed distracted, rushed and did not do a very good job. Lots of smudges and lumpy spots on my nails. He also finished up with about 20 minutes before my sister's were done, even though my design was more complicated. The girl who did my sisters nails did a great job though! So just avoid the guys here lol read more

Nah. (Long review) Went here on a whim as my nail guy quit First, I asked for thick nails (I break them often at work), was denied. Each hand had a different shape, the acrylic was bumpy and the shellac was missing in spots and was uneven at the cuticles, it chipped in one day. Paid $45 and tipped $10 LOL. Got in my car and realized how bad they actually were. Went back in and asked for them to be fixed, she was onto another client but repainted two of my nails. They still looked like sh*t, however I had to leave, I work and go to school so I wasn't able to head back until 4 days later. I get that it's my fault for leaving unsatisfied but they coulda hooked me up with a discount when she charged me $25 to fix the shellac and repaint. She annihilated my cuticles and still super uneven. They were super nice for the most part but that niceness doesn't make up for the horrible nails. read more

This was my second and last visit to Epic Nails. I received the same service that I received last month and was charged $33.00 more when I paid $90.00 last month. After realizing she charged too much she then had to void the transaction and then she charged me $10.00 more then she did last month. There's no price list but I couldn't figure out why the inconsistency. Now my card is tied up until the $123.00 drop off. This was a very nice clean place with nice staff but I can't patronize a place that will make up prices by the look of a customer. I was going to give a tip but she helped herself to an extra $10.00 and she did nothing extra from my last visit so with that said I will continue to look for a nail salon that don't make prices up by the look of a patron.
