When I called, I indicated to your nail tech about the issue I was experiencing and asked if it was normal for matte to turn yellow/gray, as this was my first time getting a no-chip matte. Your nail tech advised that had NEVER happened to a matte manicure and said I had to come so they could take a look at it. When I came in the next day, you provided different information than what your nail tech advised on the phone. I explained to you the paint was chipping and I do not recall you stated it was fading. The issue was addressed when I came in and explained. You simply told me it was wear & tear but did not offer to re-paint. read more

With hundreds of nail salons with comparable prices in Addison, Elmhurst, Bloomingdale you don't need to come here. You have a ton of nail places to choose from. This salon, since being under new ownership has completely lacked in customer service. People come to salons to be pampered and to relax. You won't find that here. This place is run like a circus act. Tim is chatting away with girls while you are sitting there waiting to be seated. It is loud and obnoxious and just overkill with the chattiness. Maybe if he quit fraternizing with his clients he'd have more time to do his job! Owner (Tim) is completely unprofessional. I used to think he was a nice guy. The more I have been coming here, the more I have noticed a change in his customer service. This place is much more busy than Laura Nail's ever was (former owner). With that being said, you need to make sure you acknowledge and are courteous to your loyal paying customers and regulars. I always call for an appointment prior to coming in. Few nights ago I called and spoke to Tim. I asked him if the salon was busy and that I needed a pedicure and a fill. He said to just come in. Upon my arrival there were 4 people waiting ahead of me. After 20 min. I was then told to go to the pedicure chair where my feet soaked for over 45 minutes. Tim never even acknowledged me when I walked in, nor did he say "Sorry for the long wait..." "We'll be with you soon..." NOTHING! Nicole handled the situation by finally starting on my nails when I was ready to walk out. I ditched the pedicure as I didn't want to be there any longer than I already had. Nicole actually saved me as a customer as she was sympathetic to my frustration and tried to remedy the situation. She is much more professional than Tim, too bad she doesn't own the salon! I realize salon's get busy and I don't mind waiting. But if I am calling in first, asking if your busy and you tell me to come in and make me wait over an hour that is just plain dishonest and rude when you know I am a loyal customer! In addition, I got a huge attitude from him as I was paying and leaving???? I will take my business elsewhere. First off I called to make an appointment for me and my friend to get a no chip, guy answers the phone and says that it's not possible to do a appointment 15 minutes prior to showing up.... like wtf is an appointment then? Whatever I brushed it off and just walked in. Then, a lady which salt and pepper colored hair rushed me and wanted to take my current nail polish off even though I said to her twice that I was waiting on my friend to show up first. Well that pissed her off. Walked away with a major attitude. Once my friend got there we finally sat down. I was never showed colors for a no chip or anything about what colors they have. So she starts my nails.... hurts like hell shes doing it to rough. Then she's cutting my cuticles and she cuts me because she's not cutting she's pulling my cuticles off. Then she never has me wash my hands she just starts to do the polish which I then asked for a French no chip. My nails are very clumpy and bumpy in the end of all of this. Overall I won't be going back and this lady got no tip. Hope I don't get an infection after this place. There's even a dog running around this salon. Talk about unsanitary!! Fricken gross and nasty. This was my first experience with a dip powder manicure. The price was $45 (plus I tipped $9) and I only had my nails painted, cause I did my manicure a day ago. After washing my hands a few times at home I noticed that the powder is stuck under the nails and all over them. The coat is very uneven and I can see some bubbles here and there. The shape looks different because there's a very thick uneven layer of powder on top and the nails were slightly filed in the salon. I'm disappointed with my experience. And it's not worth it. That's why I always do my manicure myself and it's always look perfect. Never got the same results in nail salons. read more

Man, I'm not even gonna leave the parking lot without first leaving RAVE reviews about this place. First off, anywhere I walk into where I am greeted by a dog is immediately one of my favorite places ever. Tia was attached to me the whole time I was here, and since this was like my second manicure ever, she helped ease my nerves (I don't like being touched haha). Second, everyone in the place, employee and customer alike, was engaged in conversation with each other, laughing and having a great time, instead of the whole place being dead silent. I don't mean to sound insensitive, but you don't get that at every nail place you go to. Ken did an awesome job on my non-chip manicure, and he even encouraged me to choose a color different than the safe dark colors I typically choose. And it looks beautiful! Quality has been fantastic and consistent with each person who has worked on me. All I have to say is watch the prices. I got a full set a few months ago that somehow cost me close to 50 dollars, and the man charged me extra for a coffin shape. A few days ago I went in for the same exact thing for $35. read more

One of the owners ripped her nails off and made her bleed even when she asked them to stop, they always rushed to finish leaving poor results, and they would talk about marijuana and strip clubs. I used to go here to get my nails done and i absolutely loved it. I actually wrote a 5 star review for it! but.. For my senior prom I made an appointment at 9:30am. I arrived to the salon at 9:25am and the doors were locked and the lights were off - so I waited since I came early. It rolled around to 9:40 so I called and a man answered and I said "hi I had an app. at 9:30 I made for today 2 weeks ago, wondering if my appointment is still happening or if someone got caught up.." and the man was extremely rude and acted like I was bothering him and an annoyance and then asked me to wait another 10-15 minutes for him to come! I had another apointment to get to at 11 a few towns over. So I said I'm sorry I can't wait I will just have to go somewhere else. He then told me I was threatening him and the nail salon did not want my business! And to think I have recomended 5+ people to them.. So.. I messaged the facebook page hoping to speak to someone about the lack of service and how rude this man was to me only to find he was also in control of the facebook! Yay.. I went to this salon to get my nails done, and no one asked me if I had been helped at all. Then to add insult to injury there was another woman of color who was also there and she had made an appointment, and the staff assumed I was with that woman. In an attempt to rectify my 45 min wait. They did eventually do my nails, but the service was so rushed that my fill in didn't make it through the week. I paid full price for an pedicure and gel fill and the paint on my toes chipped by day 4, and fill in didn't even last a week. I have no desire to go back to this salon. read more

I came to this place a couple times and there are a few people that know how to do a good job but half the time I am unsatisfied and will not be returning back. I rather pay more and drive further to another place I go to that ALWAYS take their time and make sure the work they do is good. First off I came in for a pedicure and no-chip manicure. I had a guy who was nice do my pedicure but when it came to painting the nails he did a sloppy job. There was nail polish on my skin and cuticles and the color was painted so uneven I wanted to cry. Next he started my no-chip, which I was hesitant to start because of the quality of my pedicure but I let him start. He removed my nail polish and started filing and etc. I had to ask him to do another removal of nail polish because the color was everywhere, I had a black color previously. My filing was uneven and the cuticles were not done right. Right before I was going to say something he stood up and a girl came and said she will finish and started painting. She was fast which made me nervous but it came out ok. Again a little uneven especially by the cuticles but I guess ok, even though I still had previous color left over. I asked her to fix my pedicure which she did and it looked better but I was still upset that everything turned out how it did. I was the only person there until the end which they should of taken their time but they didn't and that's what was so upsetting. And the guy who did my pedicure must be new because I do better work home by myself but I guess I finally learned my lesson. I'm officially done with this place. I was going to say something to the owner before I left but I was so upset I just wanted to leave. I was going on vacation the next day and I just couldn't believe I trusted this place to make my nails look nice. So disappointing!! Don't waste your time if you want nice nails. I get a no chip manicure every two weeks and pedicures once a month in the Winter and during the Summer every 2 weeks like my manicures. In recent months this place has went down hill fast. Sunday was it for me. Went in for a pedicure for my tired, swollen, pregnant feet. I absolutely loved the service! I was so tired that I didn't really want to sit around for a manicure afterwards, but ended up asking for one anyway because I was so impressed with my pedi. I adored the dog in the shop, and totally wish I could bring mine to work with me! It's been about a week since my visit there, and my nails haven't chipped once! I came in for a NO CHIP manicure. Within the next day, all my nails started lifting, I also noticed that the paint was over my skin. Which is not suppose to happen. I paid for a no chip set but not even a day after and it started chipping. I'm usually a regular at this salon and when I spoke to the manager in regards to my poorly done manicure. After waiting a couple of days, they offered me a repaint, I had asked for a refund due to the fact that I had to go else where and spend more money to have my nails fixed. Right after that's when the manager, Nicole started adding extra restrictions that I was not made aware of prior. She stated that the repaint HAD TO BE THE SAME COLOR AS I GOT PREVIOUSLY, SAME LENGTH AND they were ONLY giving me till the end of this week to come in and get my nails fixed mind you it's FRIDAY. Nobody stated that I had a time limit. As much as I appreciated the offer, I personally didn't feel comfortable going back to a salon that messed up my nails and had all my nails chipping THE DAY AFTER. After I had politely asked for a refund the manager stated to me that they don't do refunds because "they work hard for their money" AS DO I. And then she's going to state that "it's common sense" that I would go to them to get my nails fixed within the time limit they gave me when IT SAYS NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE ABOUT ANY OF THESE POLICIES. And I told the manager that, that's when she hit me with "no we don't because it's common sense" EXCUSE ME?!?! Not only am I extremely unhappy with my results, I lost my hard earned money to a salon that uses ZELLE that claims they can't refund me my money. And is only giving me until TOMORROW to get my nails fixed. I will NEVER give them my business again. They don't even clean their tools properly. They insinuated that I was stupid. When I'd talk to them they about the issue they'd turn and speak a different language and laugh. This is my monthly get-away. I always feel so welcomed, they do a wonderful job keeping the salon and their tools clean and sanitized. The pedicure chairs are also always very clean, this is something I am very picky about. This salon has never given me a reason for concern, they are always clean and efficient. I also never feel pressured by up-selling, everyone is always eager to provide you with the exact service you're looking for. I got my nails done there for the first time about a month ago. I was very impressed because in other salons you see the owners kids running around. Which I feel is very unprofessional. Well, went in for my second appointment (fill in, pedicure and wax), I thought I have seen it all, the owners bring there dog. And while I'm getting my eyebrows wax (which I had no idea that it wasn't in another room), the dog is licking my ankles. Not for nothing I was paying for the $30 spa treatment and I don't think the licking of a dog was part of the package. About a week later I come in because four of my nails were lifting. I tried to explain this to the owner and he said that he would fix it. So, the worker who fixed it basically fixed the four nails that I told were lifting. And everytime I tried to talk to them stating that to just give me a fill in then said "don't worry I fix". Well, the nails still lifted and nothing was done correctly. And I paid $10 for a polish change because they couldn't find the original color! So, that being said. No I don't recommend this place. If I am going to pay for a service that requires professionalism then they are not the ones! read more

First time coming here I walked in and there were only men which is fine but I have to say I underestimated them. One of the guys was doing my full set acrylic nails and he was going SUPER fast which is why I thought he didn't really know what he was doing but as fast as he did my nails they looked great! I got a coffin shape and normally other places charge extra for coffin shape and length, Well to my surprise this guy only charged me $25! I was shocked, other places will charge me like 35 + tip with the nails I got. I recommend this place, only thing is its very small and only has 2 spots for the drying station and it has no fan just a couple regular light bulbs and 2 uv light bulbs which in my opinion doesn't dry your nails as quick without a fan. read more

Normally it should take around 20-30 min, but he did it very rushed and not complete within 10 min. I'm frustrated and don't think my fill will last me for a bridal shower I am going to in two days. My first time here was an alright experience. My nails were done good, but the workers were very laid-back. The owner ended up doing my nails, and insisted that he was able to do designs. I asked him if he could do a specific design, and he told me he could do it but that I didn't want it. He told ME what I wanted!? It was very bizarre. My second time was even worse. The girl who did my nails had an attitude the whole time. The owner sat there with other workers and clients and gossiped the whole time. I sat there listening to the owner talk about other clients who had just walked out. It was kind of crazy. During my pedicure I moved my chair tilt back a little bit because I did not want to sit straight up, and the girl doing my nails semi yelled at me and moved it back up. She then tried to take the remote from me like I was a child. I asked her why I couldn't move my chair back a little and she told me that I would mess up the wall, even though I wasn't even close to the wall. And then asked me if I were to mess up the wall if I would pay for it. This is on top of her leaving little soap ball particles in between my toes... which I had to clean out myself, because when I asked her to get the soap from between my toes she looked at me like I was crazy. I was shocked. The same day, I then got a no chip and the girl put so many layers on it was lumpy, thick, and not smooth at all. It was honestly the worst experience I've ever had a nail salon. My no chip chipped in about five days. 70$ gone. The fact that the staff and owner are so laid back makes it hard to relax. They had rap music with swears blasting, and all I heard was negative gossip. This is definitely a place for high schoolers and people who like lumpy nails. I will never go back. read more

I was in here last Friday and I was a bit thrown off with their lack of customer service.I walked in after work and I didn't have an appointment, so I asked a woman by the name of Nicole if they took walk ins and she didn't seem happy about the question so I said, it's Friday, you're busy I can make an appointment for another day, I was just walking by...So she didn't say anything and handed me a basket with option of nail colors. I waited for about 35 minutes. I then sat down and in the middle of Nicole taking off my nail polish, she gets up and says, "My customer's here, and walks away." I was like ok, hum who is finishing my nails and she pointed to the person finishing up, I wait another 20 minutes. During the time that my nails were getting done, Nicole made a few remarks that I didn't find appropriate and I asked her a question and she just gave me a blank, What are you stupid for asking look. Then, the customer answered for her as she was too rude to answer. Geez, it was just a question. Anyhow, during the time that I was getting nails done, 3 people walked in and complained about chipped nails. That was my 3rd red flag but I still stayed...My nails looked nice, can't complain but there's nothing NO-CHIP about them. I had a chip the next day and have small chips all over. I was gonna go back but honestly don't wanna deal with the crappy customer service and I saw how long they made the people that went back for repairs wait. NO THANKS!
