I've been going here to get my eyebrows done every other week, for half a year now, and a few weeks ago one of the ladies cut into the middle part of my eyebrow, and I had to wait for it to grow back. Yesterday I went back for my normal eyebrow threading, and the lady that did my eyebrows threaded the whole side of my eyebrow off. I called and told them I'll be coming back in a while so they could fix it somehow or fill it in, and they closed early. I got there at 7pm and they were already closed, but their closing time was 8pm. I will never go back to this place again. I have pictures for reference. The picture of my full eyebrow is how both of them usually look, and then the other photo is the eyebrow that she completely threaded off. My eyebrows already had the hair there. All she had to do was clean it up, but she completely took it off. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

I stumbled across Threading Zone when running into Hallmark to pick up a few things. The signage and colors immediately caught my attention. Eyebrow threading or waxing $5. I then "remembered" my brows were in desperate need to care. Lucky for me they were open until 8pm on a Monday. My usual place is closed on Mondays and on most weekdays they are closed by 7p. I was immediately greeted by Foram who really took her time cleaning up my unruly brows. She asked me about the shape before making any rash decisions. After all, brows take a while to grow. And every now and then, my brows go on strike. They barely grow and when they do, it's not where the hair is needed most. After they were cleaned up, the were dense I some areas which is nothing new. Foram asked if she could fill them in for me using a light natural looking powder they sell in house. The powder really makes a difference. My brows looked at peace and very full which they are not. After paying for my services, I was provided with a sheet of coupons for future visits. That alone compelled me to check in which I forgot to do prior to, and take pictures to share with the Yelp family. It's neat, nicely decorated, open late and does a very good job on even the most uncooperative brows. Given the long wait times at my other more popular spot, this will be an easier stop to make. (I deducted a star because there were a stack of coupons on the counter and I was charged the full price for a eyebrow/lip threading combo. This is also considering the fact that she asked me to do about two different additional services after my brows were finished. I got it but could have easily left without it and learning after I chalked over the a full price plus tip that it should have been discounted was no laughing matter. ***** It is located in the strip mall with Caputos, Mandarin Bistro, Sally's, Dollar Tree and Hallmark. I recommend you giving it a try. Even with the pricing issue I am glad I did. And my brows are too! ****If you see fliers when you walk in, take it and use it! read more

So after a bad experience at the Addison location, I returned back to Bloomingdale for my regular services. I went in for a microdermabrasion with facial and also eyebrow threading. Was seen by Seena since Karen is on vacation and absolutely loved her work. There is still some redness but bumps but not like before in my previous pictures at Addisons location. I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a eyebrow place. The first time I came here, I was happy with the results. The second time was an absolute nightmare. The girl who did my eyebrows (Bhumi) did an incredibly sloppy job. One of my eyebrows is half the thickness of the other and I have two completely different, crooked, shaped brows. Before she started, I told her not to make my eyebrows thin and to just clean up the stray hairs. Clearly, she didn't get the message. While threading, it seemed like she was in a rush --in fact, she was so careless that the thread hit my eyelashes and It hurt. I was afraid to look in the mirror to see if she plucked off my eyelashes along with my brows. She also took the fine hairs off my forehead WITHOUT asking me for permission. A few days later, my forehead is still red, itchy, and broken out. I have never had this problem with treading before, and I do not know if it is due to hygienic reasons. Finally, she used scissors to trim my eyebrows. She trimmed so much, that I now have gaps in my eyebrows. You probably guessed it by now, I will never go there again and everyone else should STAY FAR FAR AWAY. read more

I've had Karen do my eyebrows for the past couple of months and I'm always satisfied with her work. She's there every mondays and tuesdays. They have another branch in Addison and she told me its family owned. If you decide to try this place out for the first time, let them know and they will give you a 'loyalty card'. Had my eyebrows threaded for the first time here. It was quick- a little painful- but the results were so precise and clean. Wow! I feel refreshed. Very clean place and I've interacted with 2 ladies working here and I must say they both were very polite and professional. I go to the Threading Zone in Bloomingdale for facials and talked to Ian about my hair which was as dull as macaroni and cheese without the cheese. i made an appointment and my hair came out great, it had depth and demension. This place is pretty straightforward with what they offer. I've only gone in twice but both times, middle of the day during the weekday, they seemed to be busy. Very affordable and the quality seems to be there in skill. The first time I went, a young woman threaded my eyebrows and she cleaned them up fantastically and she was efficient and clean. This last time I went, though, another woman did my brows and upper lip. After getting home later that day, I realized that my eyebrows ere not cleaned up efficiently and then I started breaking out badly in the areas I had threaded, which had never happened before. (also I religiously wash my face and have never really been acne prone). At this point I assume that because the place was so busy, she hadn't had the chance to wash her hands or sterilize in any manner which led to the situation I experienced. Nonetheless, I'll be back, I guess. They're the only decent threading place around and I know human error happens when places can get busy. read more

First time going here for a wax chin and neck. I really liked it they are fast and very nice. After the lady waxed me she asked if she could thread the remaining hairs since they were so small. I told her yes but that I'm a cry baby to pain and she told me "don't worry I'll go slow and stop if you need me too" very calming to hear that as other places seem to get annoyed with that. Get my eyebrows done there every other week like the fact that they have bonus cards. Once you reach 7 brows you get the next for free. I also like the blonde woman who does cluster lashes... the glue she applies after makes it looks like I already have eyeliner on! Absolutely stunning! (I did try a facial once... The interior design is chic. The nice lady took about 5 minutes to thread my eyebrows with minimal pain. She was able to shape them nicely. She also gave me a loyalty card - 8th eyebrow thread is free. Other places have made my forehead break out but not here. My brows actually look great although it's been over a month. Had the worst time here with one of the ladies. She burned a huge chunk of my face with wax and made a cut into my brow then had the nerve to tell me I was just being difficult and yelled at my mother for calling her out on burning me. I went 2 week later to get my eyebrows done with my regular lady and she came out and yelled at my mother again unprovoked and said we shouldnt come back because we are too difficult to deal with. Never have been so insulted in my life. Never coming back and would not recommend. Edit:I did go to threading zone in bloomingdale today at around 4/5:00. I have been here multiple times, I know I am in your system. There were only 2 women present at the time. I have pictures of the burn still which happened (which btw she tried to blame me for) Also she yelled at my mom for her pointing out that she made my eyebrows uneven and she said we were too picky and difficult and it's not her fault. All of these events happened on multiple dates but I have been going to this salon for a while so we decided to ignore it but after her coming out today to yell at us even though we werent even her customers was disrespectful and intolerable. read more

Just got my eyebrows threaded not even five minutes ago and couldn't wait to write a review. I stopped in around 5pm on a Tuesday and was seated right away with no wait time. Sinal did an AMAZING job cleaning up my brows after about two months of neglect. She was super quick and made it surprisingly painless (normally threading kills me). She offered to apply some rose water at the end which was nice. I also like that she didn't make them too thin which seems to be an issue at a few of the other places I've been to. Wish i could give zero stars. First and last time customer. Went in for my eyebrows and lip wax. The girl didn't wash her hands, basically threw the wax on my face, and rewaxed multiple areas. Wow! I have never had my eyebrows threaded before (waxed plenty of times...)but I pass this place almost everyday. Went in needing to tame the beasts of eyebrows I have. I was in there for maybe 5 minutes! My eyebrows have never looked so great before! I'm not sure who the woman was that took care of me but she did a fantastic job!
