BEST places to get your eyebrows done. Although it may seem a bit pricier than other places, Sara honestly does the perfect job and totally worth it!! Not painful compared to other places, and she takes her time and pays attention to every detail and is very kind. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. My brother and my dad only trusts Studio 7 for their haircuts. George is also incredible with what he does! Great business. TIP! Schedule an appointment with Sara for eyebrow threading, she gets busy! read more

It looks like Sara and George have closed shop. It's sad and unfortunate that they did not communicate to their regular customers who come to see them often. I have been trying to get a hold of someone for over a week. Yesterday the business phone was completely disconnected. Today drove by the studio to see it emptied out. Would've liked to continue supporting Sara and George's business as they are nice people but the lack of transparency and communication is disappointing. Would have just liked to know whether they are moving locations or closing shop for good even with a sign on the door or a kind text message. read more

I fly in to get Sara's eye brow threading service. Perfect detailed eyebrows every time. She moved to Infinite beauty Salon in Streamwood. Will be there as soon as I can read more

I've been coming to Sara for over 17 years. Business phone is disconnected & no answer on cell. Visited in person today and shop is closed with furniture out. Hope everything is okay. So sad to not get any communication on this change. Worried and hope everything is okay :( read more

This place is great, owner George and Sarah are just truly good people, as a walk-in I felt really welcomed. George took time with my hair and did a good job, every time I come back now it feels like home. I wish every local business is ran by people like this, highly recommend! read more

The care that this man took with my daughter's hair the time, the effort. She has hair to her waist, thick. He blow dried that hair as long as it took. She looks amazing! Highly recommended! read more

Loved my experience at Studio 7! They were able to get me in same day which was awesome, especially since I'm awful at planning ahead. I did have to wait over 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment for the cut, which was a bummer. BUT there are a few restaurants and coffee shops next door you could visit if you have a few spare minutes. I would also recommend bringing a book or something to keep you entertained. The studio has a modern industrial vibe. There is a white leather couch and a handful of metal chairs up front as a waiting area. Tile floors, exposed metal ceilings and high intensity lights all with an open concept so you're able to see everything that's going on. My men's cut was $15 which is lower than most other places, but quality was top notch! They also have a ton of services for color (including ombré), perm, waxing, and threading. All of the prices seemed extremely reasonable. Overall enjoyed my experience at studio 7 and would definitely recommend (as long as you bring something to stay entertained and are not in a hurry)!! read more

Went in to get my eyebrows done, and sat there for about 15 minutes for her to tell me it was by appointment only. No where does it say appointment only. She could've communicated better. read more

Sara is one if not the best eye brows threaders. I highly recommend her and only her. She takes her time and it does not hurt at all. Very nice shop she has and clean. read more

Sara has been doing my eyebrows for 10 plus years. She is good. No one has touched my eyebrows in that time because when I find someone I like, I stick with them. This past Saturday I was running late due to a Doctors appt. I tried to call several times. No answer. I was very frustrated but kept calling. No problem... I will just get there as fast as I can. Upon arrival I was told that I needed to reschedule. Now I can't tell you how many times I've arrived on time and had to wait 15, 20 and even 30 minutes into my appointment because Sara was running behind. Also I have referred many of my friends... So why couldn't this next client after me wait a few extra minutes this one time. Needless to say I will not be returning. Sara you lost a good customer.. read more

The girl who does eyebrows is great! Unfortunately, customer service is awful!! I came in for eyebrows, she said she could take me because she had an appointment with someone else who was running late and she didn't want to mess up her schedule. Asked me to come back later in the day. She should have a sign up that says her services are by appointment only. read more

Had the most amazing eyebrow threading here by Sara over the weekend. I've been having them done for almost a decade, but never have they been so clean and well-shaped. At the same time, my husband got an excellent haircut. His stylist (will update with his name later if I can figure it out) spent plenty of time and had great attention to detail. Can't wait to try for my own hair when I'm ready for a cut. Update: it was Fahmi who did the great men's cut. read more

I'll give this zero start If that is an option , went on Saturday July 20 around 1:00pm waiting for the lady to do my eyebrows and after 45 min wait she said she couldn't do them anymore because she had an appointment and then that's not the worst the guy across from her way yelling at her almost look like he was going to hit her. I will like to speak with the owner read more

I went in for a trim with George and I'm very pleased with how my hair looks and feels. I've paid more for bad haircuts so I was very happy with the pricing and the experience. George is an interesting man and I enjoyed getting my haircut by him. I 100% will be going back- next time for eyebrows too! read more

As a male I feel as if maybe I've written one too many reviews in regards to "salons". Places for "girlie men" and women. As a man, is caring about your appearances io effeminate? Dare I say, I think not. Take pride in the first thing people notice about you! Your socks! Just kidding... Your face is the first thing that is noticed in social situations. At least that's the first thing I notice, so I say, put your best face forward, and if your face is in need of a little primping in the eyebrow area, Sarah is the gentlelady to trust those precious few hairs with. Let's face it(get it, FACE it), there are only so few hairs on your face, why not take proper care of them? I've typed face too many times, so let's just get on with it, shall we? Sarah is the bees knees when it comes to threading those caterpillars that the most hirsute men call eyebrows. Call ahead for an appointment as she is usually very busy on a daily basis. If you walk in and wait, be prepared to wait, and I mean WAIT. I've waited 1.5 hours , 15 minutes past closing time just to have her hand grace my face with her skill. And they locked the doors and Sarah still took her on me, not rushing in the least bit. And this is coming from a dude. I know, I know, looks are deceiving, trust me I possess the all important Y chromosome and shower my beloved with wrapped candies. Can you, good sir, shower your beloved with wrapped candies? (Haughty laughter ensues) I bet you buy your candies loose in a bag, like a hobo! But I digest...(Ref. Bobby B aka Bobby Bottleservice) In conclusion, if you require the skills of an artisté to tame the luxurious locks of your face, Sarah is the dude for the job. I mean dudette. She takes her time making sure you look perfect before you leave, never minding the endless throng of customers awaiting her grace. As I don't require the services of a barber, I have no advice on the skills of George. But like Sarah, he is uber-friendly, and if you like/love automobiles you'll be fast friends. TLDR: Sarah is the best eyebrow threader I've had since moving away from Chicago, and possibly ever. Make sure you call ahead. read more

They only serve who they want. They keep their own hours so don't bother to make an appointment. I've done that more than once and both times there was no one there. I was told when I stopped by that they have the right to choose who they want to serve and when. So sad, I love the service I got the first 2 times I went. read more

Sara and George are the best. I have been going to Sara for my eyebrows for years now. I've followed her from when she was working for someone else, to her owning a salon in Streamwood and now to this salon. She is truly awesome. She takes time, which we all know is super important for eyebrows. She can create shape out of anyone's eyebrows. My husband and father both use George for haircuts. He is a very kind person. Always gives sharp clean cuts. Love this place. read more

George has changed or all the reviews on here are not true. Awful experience during the haircut and the haircut overall was not good. Going to wear my hair up for several months to let the chunk he cut 4 inches shorter than the others grow out. I wouldn't recommend him. read more

I have tried going to this place 3 times by booking an appointment and all three times they have not been able to keep the appointment. They double book and keep you waiting. Today was the last time I give this place a shot. The stylist booked and confirmed the appointment with me the day before and yet he left for the day early on the day of my appointment. I walk into the salon for my appointment and the rest of the staff don't even have the courtesy to let me know that the stylist for my appointment has left for the day. If you value your time then do not go to this place since THESE PEOPLE DO NOT VALUE YOUR TIME AND APPOINMENT. read more

If I could give this place a 0, I would! Worst service ever, my stylist never showed up for my appointment and the owner, after finally taking me an hour later, did a strand test after which he yelled at me and berated me for saying something to complain and asked me to leave with color in my hair half done! I've never been treated so rudely. This place should be shut down immediately! My only saving grace was Sarah who took over, finished my hair but I was still there for over 3 hours!! read more

I literally live down the street from this place so I have no idea why it took me so long to try it. My eyebrows are always a mess. I basically need to get them threaded bi-monthly (thanks, Dad!) Let me cut to the chase: this place is amazing and Sara is fantastic. My eyebrows have never looked better. Perfect shape with extremely sharp lines (which is what I like). It's a little more than most places ($13), but I'm going here from now on. Considering making a standing appointment for every 2 weeks. :) The place is also super clean and everyone else is very nice. read more

Please avoid Habu if you possibly can. He butchered my hair. Thankfully Monica was there to fix my hair. After Monica treated, colored and fixed Habu's failed attempt at cutting my hair, Habu tried to charge me $35 for his butcher job, in addition to the $85. When I refused because I felt I shouldn't have to pay for something twice, he made a comment "I've been in business a long time and only people who don't have money refuse" in front of other customers. How dare he?!When I challenged him, he told me to "shut up" and "don't come back". I payed the $35 because I felt sorry for him..clearly he needed it more than I did. I can't believe the owner allows this to happen. NEVER going back! read more

George sara and fahmi are all the best i recommend them 100 times

Sara is amazing at threading eyebrows, just make an appointment otherwise you might wait long or not be able to be seen. She takes her time doing them to ensure they are perfect! Love studio 7! Very friendly staff, always welcoming and professional. Sara is amazing with eyebrows! I've been going to her for my eyebrows since I was 16 and I am now 22. I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows! I did once, and it was a huge mistake. read more

Great place to go to! I go and see George and he does a great job on my hair. Really pays attention to the detail. I'm always in the chair for 30 minutes and that's for only a buzz cut. They have a great facility. The other people are great too. They do lots off eye brow threading as well so I'm guessing they're great at that (I don't do it). read more

Studio 7 - Hair Salons Near Me - Hanover Park, Illinois

I cannot believe this place!!! Out of the 6 times I have made an appointment I have gone 3 times. First, they just close whenever they want (I make an appointment and go and the salon is closed). Second, it's even hard to make an appointment because half the time they do not answer their phone. Third, out of the 3 times I have actually been seen, I waited for 45 mins one time and 90 mins. the other. Why? Once Alex didn't realize he had an appointment (even though he was looking right at me) and went out to bull**** with a friend. The second time, they could not find my appointment. Best Advice, don't waste your time and money, book somewhere else. read more

I have been to this place a few times and I don't think they understand the word "appointment". They ask you to call and make an appointment, but make you wait an additional hour once you get there because the stylist is always running behind. This place has terrible service and they have no sense of respecting the customer and their time. read more

I've been coming here for quite some time now. The customer service is so friendly & welcoming. Sara is absolutely AMAZING at doing eyebrows, she always takes her time & does the job right. I do suggest making an appointment with her ahead of time because she is always booked & can not take walk-ins. George is someone who cuts hair there. I haven't got my hair cut by him but I hear all of his customers love him & he is very good with kids. read more
