The tattoo parlor was a lot of fun! We had five newbies to escape rooms and me (I've done more than…read more5 escapes) and everyone had a great time. Our gamemaster, Nico, who monitors you during the event, did an outstanding job of giving hints after we struggled on something a while but not waiting too long where you get frustrated. Nico also did a great job role playing the hiring manager for the tattoo parlor at the start of the room. All around a satisfying experience and fun memories.

There's a large waiting area with a bathroom and a puzzle for while you wait. The staff was very friendly and explained the rules well. One of the locks in our room didn't open so they paused our game time while they came and opened it, so it didn't affect our time. I was not at all a fan of the "group" clue we had in our "New Blood, New World" room, hopefully they don't have something like that in every game cause it totally killed the experience!!! (That's the only reason they didn't get five stars) We escaped the room with time to spare and got a button with our picture taken at the end. If we're back in the area again we will definitely have to try a different room.

The kids all took the lanterns, and that was probably a mistake, haha. I would have preferred if the whole thing wasn't in the dark (e.g. if we solved some clue and the lights went on it would have been AWESOME). Some of the puzzles were too much of a stretch, and that can be frustrating. But there were still some good reveals and everyone had a great time (though we didn't escape in time. However, it's because some of the puzzles were a bit illogical or went on for TOO LONG- I'm ok doing SOME math and SOME cipher decoding but when you're required to keep doing more of the same, it's just tedious). I'm still a fan of escape rooms but this one was just ok!

Thomas Bell's harassment towards my son during his employment was uncalled for and this type of discernment towards your team will get a bad reputation throughout the public as well as the extra low wages they get paid to perform so many tasks, and add on unprofessional behavior from management! There is wool over Pam's face and they tell Mac and his family what they want to hear, not allowing fellow employees to speak up! Do Better! We all know you are making the money, now do something worthwhile for your employee, not just putting a picture on the wall with a face smile and calling that recognition.
