MacDaddy's was such a good time ! If you know me, I love karaoke, arcades and entertainment centers. I'm a 80's baby and 90's kid to the core. Cape Carteret is an adorable beach town 30 minutes from Jacksonville. A smooth drive on 24. The staff was excellent and this place has a little bit of something for everyone. I visited with my daughter who is 11 and my mom whose almost 70. My daughter and I enjoyed the arcade games and go karts, my mother and I really loved karaoke night. We arrived around 730 and stayed until 9:45. All the arcade games were new and worked. We always enjoy kung fu panda and basketball. My daughter took home some goodies as prizes. The staff at the Go Karts were patient, kind and respectful. We stayed late and had the whole go kart course to ourselves. My daughter is new to go karts so this was great. We had a blast. My mom and I spent time at the Sports Grill enjoying Tuesday's karaoke night and a few beers. Always ask for what the specials of the day are. Karaoke happens every Tuesday 6-9 pm with Taco Tuesday and $4 Modelo beer. There was a lot of talent in the building and a wide range of age groups and nationalities. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My daughter enjoyed the sports grill eats. She ordered a shrimp burger, onions rings and my mom and I had the $4 model bottle special. Service was excellent and the quality of the food was good for the price. This place features bowling, arcade, billiards, go karts and an obstacle course. So much here for all ages to enjoy. I can't wait to return to the Mac :: 90's song reference;)

I love Mac Daddy's. The arcade has so many games to choose from you'll never get bored. My favorite arcade game of all time is the Jurassic Park game. I'm so happy that Mac Daddy's has it! Mini golf is fun too! The course feels pretty long but in a good way! I felt like we definitely got our moneys worth! I love that there is a place that has so many fun, family friendly options in one location! Can't wait to come bowling sometime soon!

We had an amazing time here. My band was playing their labor day show. But we got food and drinks, and they were delicious. The atmosphere there was also really laid back. It is like a Dave and busters with go-carts, a driving range and some musicians coming through. Their food is solid and reasonably priced...and the staff is very nice...Check it out!!

We are on Emerald Isle for the Thanksgiving holiday week, holiday food (Turkey, ham, etc.) we sorry to go out for bowling and burgers. A high energy with video games for the kids, and a bar and restaurant (beer and wine) for the adults. The building we enjoyed the burgers, fried chicken platters-fried chicken tenders platter, bbq ribs and Texas BLT , The dishes are pretty good. Good service. Hello it's cold beer and wine.. we enjoyed our evening and had a great time

No sauce means no sauce. Not just a little.

Asked for my sandwich with no sauce. The manager at the bar was rude about it and said it's not buffalo sauce and would not make it right. Poor service. Rude manager.

Oookay they've got a bowling alley, they've got arcades and games, pool tables, they've got batting cage, a putt putt course, a obstacle course in the back and go karts. There is also a snack bar, a bar where they serve beer and a little restaurant with food other than pizza. I think I've named them all. It's a really fun place to bring family and friends. There are party rooms here too so you can host birthdays and such. If you don't mind crowds (it gets a little crowded where all the games are) then you will enjoy the place.

Ask the Community - Mac Daddy's

Can you bring outside food? For example, a small birthday cake without having to make an actual birthday reservation?

Hi Jordan, Food consumed in Mac Daddy's needs to be purchased at Mac Daddy's. However, we do allow birthday cakes! :) All we ask is that enjoy your cake at one of our tables and not at the lanes. Thank you! Hope to see you soon. :)

Waitress was very sweet and running her tush off. We got there about 6pm on a Friday night and before we left it was hopping. The food was very good. I had Southwestern Eggrolls and will not have to drive to Jville anymore when I get that craving. The only difference was it came with a chipotle ranch instead of an avocado ranch. My friend had a salad (good size) along with the the Dirty Chicken. She felt like it had a "kick" to it but I tried a bit and didn't think so. She could not eat it all. Nice size serving. She also shared the mozzarella sticks. I didn't try them but she said they were good. They looked like the frozen kind out of the box, so not for me. My other friend had the smash burger that we thought were sliders, but are not. It is a hamburger with two 3oz patties with the fixins. My friend enjoyed it and I believe it came with fries. She also tried the Zucchini fries and ate them all. I personally was not crazy about them but to each his own. A two piece band was playing and they were very good. Oh, I found out just before we left that they carry Bud Zero. Nice surprise. Sitting outdoors was perfect. They put a little fly spinner on your table and no bugs. The bathroom was very clean. Since this appears to be the first post for them I will have to post pictures later. Sept. 20, 2024

We ordered the Half Chef's Tour, which is their charcuterie, and it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the night. Great variety, really well balanced, and perfect for sharing. It set the tone for the whole meal. The scallop nightly special was perfectly cooked with that golden sear and super tender inside. The rosemary steak had so much flavor and was cooked exactly right. The Brussels were crispy and savory, and even the potstickers were a standout. Nothing felt like an afterthought. Service was perfect for the tapas setting too. Not rushed, we didn't feel over bothered, but not neglected either. Overall, it felt elevated but still comfortable. A great experience without feeling over the top. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived with a reservation (always a wise move), though we were seated immediately, greeted by a gracious host who set our lunch off on the right note. Once settled, we were welcomed by Philip, whose ease and genuine enthusiasm made the experience feel less transactional and more personal. He spoke about the menu with confidence and curiosity, the mark of someone who truly enjoys being there. Drinks came first: my husband ordered a Painkiller easily one of the best we had during our time on the coast while our son stuck with a classic Coke, and I opted for water. As we ordered, it became clear we were leaning fully into the small plates philosophy. When Philip smiled and dubbed us "tapas aficionados," it felt like an acknowledgment rather than a joke and in that moment, we felt perfectly at home. The table filled quickly. Spanish lamb meatballs arrived first, glazed with sriracha and paired with whipped feta and cilantro bold, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Pork pot stickers followed, tender and flavorful, with a soy-ginger dipping sauce and sweet Thai chili providing just the right contrast. The Gambas al Ajillo shrimp bathed in extra-virgin olive oil and garlic, served with crostini, was classic and comforting. But the standout was the Potatoes Bravas: sliced potatoes grilled to a crisp and finished with a spicy brava aioli. They were addictive in the best way, the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after the table is cleared. Circa 81 is polished yet relaxed, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, a place where the food arrives hot, the service feels human, and the atmosphere invites you to linger. It's a restaurant I would happily return to, and one that earned its place among my favorites on the Crystal Coast.
