I was down in Wilmington, NC visiting during 6/22/26 - 7/6/26 and we went down and bought a membership for my 2 boys, myself and my fiance during our stay. When I bought the membership I knew we were only going to be down there for a limited amount of time and tried to cancel it but the cancellation did not go through because I was recharged for $71.96 on 7/22/26 while reviewing my bank statement. We are no longer in Wilmington as we are back home in VA. I just got off the phone with Skyzone off 6431 Market Street in Wilmington, NC 28405 and spoke to Reese. He forwarded the information (email) for me to reach out to Skyzone corporate customer service and request a refund. I did just that and explained the situation. They informed me that even though there were 0 sessions used after my stay there that they would not give me a refund and instead offer me credits, which is unacceptable. I had to reach out to my bank to file a dispute and route the necessary support documentation. I'm leaving a review because of the horrible customer service that was presented. read more

please, please be careful everyone! I did not authorize a membership and my account was debited two months in a row for more than $40. It took three attempts calling the facility to even get this so-called membership canceled and now I've been waiting three weeks for a refund for a membership that I did not authorize. Please be careful. read more

Lauren W. Was such a great help to my clients and me. We really appreciate her kindness and understanding!

Our grandson enjoyed it thoroughly and wanted to stay longer. All areas operated correctly.

I really don't want to leave this awful review but I feel I must. The place itself is tough when you have multiple children because you there are so many rooms, nooks and crannies for them to get lost in. The staff doesn't seem to man the areas where staff supervision is required so you end up waiting forever or having to find someone to help you or it's a free for all. We purchased a membership which seemed like a good deal but when we got there the membership cost for more expensive than the website advertised and they said the prices went up overnight, which I feel like they should honor the advertised price but okay. After jumping we bought a slushy which was advised as cheaper than what was actually charged, once again.. okay. When I got home I looked at our receipt (the cashier said she'd give us the socks free because we were getting a membership and only had Flip N Fly socks) she charged us for those as well! Once again okay. We ended up never going again and when I called 3 days in a row to cancel my membership (as i was advised to do by the cashier) I got a "we aren't currently available" message. So finally o go on their website and there is a cancel my membership button, I click it and submit the form. They next day o was charged the $70 for the membership. I emailed them and they said something different than what I was originally told and refused to refund the money even though we had only used the membership that initial time and never went back. I also had sent a message to corporate through their website multiple times to tell them I that I was unhappy and never heard back. Very disappointing experience and lots of time and money wasted. Hopefully I can file a dispute with my credit card and get the money back because I feel as though we were wronged over and over by Defy. read more

Was there Saturday night lots of young people work there you need a few older guys around a guy came in and his membership expired and he couldn't get in WAS cussing and hollering at the young person behind the counter threatening to come back also kids running around stealing from customers while they jump little more security at the parties kids phone stolen while at the party but my family had a great time at the party for our 5 yr old someone in our crowd actually seen these young boys going threw people's stuff and running to the bathroom then back to put something back But you do need some kind of security for these people who come in screaming at the help they can't handle grown-up being ass holes read more

We had my sons tenth birthday party here and it was wonderful. The Defy team handles it all, I brought things I thought we may need but seriously the staff thinks of everything for a successful celebration. I didn't need to bring a single thing. Our party host Caleb was beyond accommodating to my son and his buddies. He was patient and kind. My son was a little bummed about the pink cups and Caleb immediately swapped them out for another color. Thank you for a wonderful tenth birthday for my boy. Thank you, Caleb. read more

We went in September. We were told a one month membership was the best deal so I purchased that. I was not told it would be a recurring charge. Now 4 months later I see that they have been charging my credit card every month. $161 total when we live in Iowa. I am calling them tomorrow to try to get them to refund me so I hope I can update this review with good news. read more

This rating and review is technically my son's. He enjoyed it. He went with 3 friends (aged 13 & 14) and they had a fun time. They like the parkour, basketball areas best. He said it was a little crowded and on weekend lots of kiddie birthdays but wants to go again. I checked in on the app but they didn't really honor the sock give a way which is fine- how bad could they be? $1 I don't know but would've been great if they honored that when he checked in. I as parents like that do off is capped age 13+ otherwise parents should go because little guys could get hurt. They have food and party rooms. Easy waiver process online too and I like that they can buy tickets in advance of jump times on the site. read more

have never seen a cleaner park then this one! Definitely will be back! This girl is putting in the work and I 100% recommend this place to any of my friends! I also received excellent customer service from the tall guy with dark hair! Claire is always great with the kids as well! read more

Their safety protocols are seriously a proble. I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet. They have swinging objects next to a warped wall. Kids have fallen into this area and almost gotten injured. They need to reposition this to swing a different way. read more

My 7 year old daughter and I came here from New Bern for a night of fun. The play area was well-worn and could use some replacing of worn pads (slide area pad especially), damaged foam, and a general clean-up. I never saw the advertised silks area or much in the way of a side/wall trampoline. My daughter completely lost interest in trying the zipline because a worker had to be called from afar to help man it - the attention span of kids is short. While she enjoyed her time, it was my daughter who pointed out to me two jumpers double-jumping on one trampoline, also without socks and without a wristband. When a worker finally walked by to mention this to, I mentioned this and the worker said they didn't have wristbands because they were members and they weren't wearing socks because the little girl had a disability. The girl appeared normal to me and had no issues taking off and removing her own shoes. Why the father was also barefoot defied logic. Regardless, I dropped my concern/complaint as it really wasn't worth it, but we were required to 1) pay for our hour and a half, and 2) buy Defy-branded socks, whereas by all appearances, these two had not done either. About 30-45 minutes to the close, workers were very much MIA, especially in the play area. I watched multiple kids over the age of 12 playing basketball and no worker was as much as present to say a word to them. The place does have its good points, but safety, cleanliness, condition of the play area/surfaces, staffing, policy-enforcement, etc. really do need to be improved. I had been told that this place was better than Flip 'n Fly. I must say, however, that upon this experience, even Altitude in Jacksonville is better than this Defy location. If you still have the choice between Flip 'n Fly and Defy, choose Flip 'n Fly. read more

My husband and me took 7 kids to defy gravity this past Saturday for my sons birthday. It wasn't a formal party we just went to jump for a few hours. The front desk staff was so kind and extremely helpful, they even gave my husband a coupon that helped us out. The staff members on the floor were very attentive to the kids, which I really appreciated since I was looking after seven kids ages 4-9! Also one of the kids I brought fell down and a worker (not sure his name but he has dreadlocks with blond ends) quickly came over and asked us if we needed some ice. We used the ice and all was well, our little one was back out jumping. He even checked back and took the ice bag when we were done. It was just a good experience with y'all this weekend and the kids had a blast. Thanks! read more

This is a wonderful place to share some memories with your favorite kiddos! For a kiddo this would be the best place ever! As an adult I noticed some negligence in the cleaning (bathrooms, halls, cubbies) and the foam was old and flaking, I kept getting foam flakes in my eyes. We had a blast as a family of 4 adults and 2 kids. We were excited to get out on a rainy day and luckily it wasn't very busy. The staff were very friendly and gave us information about a monthly pass! I would recommend trying this, kiddos will love it! read more

It ok in the day time but don't take your kids there after 7 on weekend Unless you want them to hear F bombs and see fighting.

If you are ever like me and my nephew... Bored and in need of burning off some energy on a rainy day, then this place is for you, the staff here also exceeded my expectations, offering a discount card which helped save some money. read more

We weren't allowed to play basketball because we were too old. Changing the age restriction up two years doesn't do anything. We were on a different side than everyone else and we were being mindful of the younger kids around us. Raise the age restriction. I came here only to play on the basketball court and bought a membership but was kicked out of it for being too old. read more

i enjoyed this more than flip n fly. the people were friendly and they had much more than flip n fly. this is located by Ruth's kitchen just a little more down the road. i would recommend this for people that are out of town (like me,) and for very energetic kids. the prices are not that bad for a hour and a half. flip n fly is literally 30 dollars for an hour and a half INCLUDING THE SOCKS... but this location is very close to homewood suites by Hilton in Mayfaire. yes, flip and fly is closer but it's not worth it. read more

I took my niece and nephew here and they absolutely loved it! The staff is really friendly, they were incredibly helpful when i was filling out a Waiver they walked over and showed me exactly what i was signing. The manager even came over and gave us some cold water bottles after seeing how sweaty we were read more

Showed up for my little boy's birthday party only to find Defy was closed. No simple phone call, no text, no email, nothing. Who is running this place? "Not good" was the worst review I could leave... um, huge understatement. read more

I have gone there almost my whole life and through all the renovations they still make it a fun and nice place to be. Especially Kyle, since the new slide got put in he helped a kid (Me) go down it and was shockingly nice and patient. All the workers there are nice but i thought since he helped that kid (Me, that he would deserve at LEAST a good review. I definitely recommend this company. read more

This place sucks. The space is way too small for the amount of children they allow in the park. The staff was rude and are standing right over you watching you the entire time, some of the teenagers even making fun of the jumpers. Staff also only allowed one person per trampoline making it especially hard to jump considering the limited space and the amount of jumpers they allow at one time. No one referees the dodgeball attraction so its full of children running around with the balls and the space is useless. One of their other attractions was closed simply because a member of staff didn't feel like operating it. Considering half of the park is a foam pit, this trampoline park is a boof. read more

I've been going since 2015 & it has changed a lot(in a good way). They have the announcements for the wristband colors go over the instructions for the jumpers coming up the ramp to jump. Really cool! Also, they have the Euro trampolines(huge trampolines for extreme tricks)a dope addition to the park. There's even an instructional video on how to use it, very helpful! My all time favorite the Ninja Warrior obstacle course is still there & they even added the trapeze bar back there too! All in all great experience! read more

I always bring my little one here and it is always a blast! The staff is fun and they have the best grip sock designs of any other trampoline park ive been to... and ive been to a bunch of them! Today was my first visit to this trampoline park. I took my 7 year old son to play, I was a totally disgusted by level of cleanliness and their almost negligence and carelessness in enforcing the state Covid regulations requiring kids 5 and above to wear masks/face coverings and keeping 6ft of distance while standing in line. Kids were literally on top of each other with no Masks while waiting to get on a euro trampoline with two staff members (One in back and one in front of line) whom I assume were strategically placed there to enforce the covid regulations. To my surprise neither made zero attempt to address and correct the kids. Six kids in kind ( three of them not wearing mask) just standing just inches away from each other. When I asked the one staff member about social distancing requirements for the park she just looked at me and said, "yeah I told the kids and the kids don't listen to me." That's when i knew it was time to go. The ladies bathroom had feces on the floor, which I later found out was the source of the awful stench that lingered down the hallway. The water vending machine was broken with no sign telling patrons ( You have to walk to the front desk to have one of the staff members open the machine. I have paid for 90 minutes of playtime for my son and we end up staying 20 minutes. I do realize that this is a trampoline park and kids are going to touch the same surfaces and at a higher risk of expose, however at the very least the staff and business owner should be making every effort to keep the park as clean and disinfected as possible and well as supervising all staff members to enforce the state cover regulations. We will not be back! Skip this park and go to Flip-N-Fly instead. Super clean facility and quality control. read more

I recently went to Defy Gravity in Wilmington and I was very satisfied with my visit. My friends and I tend to go here a lot and it always seems like they have nee stuff going on! The staff is very nice and talkative. I also heard that they dropped their prices for birthday parties! I know that birthday parties are popular there, since every time I go there is usually a birthday party going on. Love this place! read more

Spent an hour here today for my son's birthday. All five of us had a great time. We were here for an hour and that was plenty of time. The staff does a great job ensuring it doesn't get over crowded. So we checked in 15 minutes before 1200. After getting ready we had about 10 minutes before 1200 (our official start time) instead of letting us start jumping this place literally made us wait for 10 minutes to get a safety brief. They expect a bunch of kids who just paid for one hour to wait until their hour starts to listen to a brief. I will never come here again. Terrible operating procedures. read more

I haven't ever been to any other trampoline parks, but I imagine Defy Gravity would be hard to top. I took my kids several times last year and they had a blast every time. Before you go: Know that you are charged by the hour or half-hour. For example, if you arrive at the quarter hour, you get to play 45 minutes, and not the whole hour. Further, you must purchase socks for $3 s person; you cannot wear your own. While our children enjoyed it, next time we'll take them downtown, let them race each other on the Riverwalk, buy them a souvenir and ice cream, and come out ahead of the game. read more

Good Day, This is professional critic: Stephen Chicago here back with another review. My biggest complaint is that the title is misleading, it says defy gravity, you would expect to fly around like squirrel in a space station. sadly this is not true and you just jump on trampolines. i got over it and tried to climb the ramp wall. i ended up falling and sliding back and forth, my family laughed at me. another concern was the amount of children, there was too many children and i am legally required to stay 3ft away from any and all of them. i am sorry to say this but you receive a 1 star rating. read more

I recently saw a charge from Defy Gravity on my bank account. We signed up for a membership back in November. Everything shut down in March due to Covid and I had no idea that they had reopened. I called to request that they cancel my plan and refund the membership fee since we have no plans of visiting a trampoline park during a global pandemic. I was told that they do not issue refunds. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told by Trayvon that he was the manager. When I asked for corporate's phone number, I was told that he did not have that information and I should check the email to find it. Extremely disappointed in this place and NEVER have plans of returning. Would not recommend. During a global pandemic when many families are struggling and out of work, all this place cares about is making $$. read more

They renewed everyone who has ever had a membership without their permission or notification. I haven't been there in months and I wasn't planning on going soon due to covid. I have been to several other trampoline parks in Southern California, so I using those experiences I am able to critique this business more carefully. First & foremost this trampoline park is exceptionally cleaner than other trampoline parks I have visited. Secondly the process in which you are able to jump is streamlined at defy gravity much more efficiently than other trampoline parks I have visited. The price May seem a bit high but in my experience you get much more quality for your dollar at Defy gravity not to mention they offer college discount, Family discounts as well as military discount. Every time we come to Wilmington we always visit defy gravity and we are always 100% satisfied. read more

My daughter went here today with a group from summer camp. I sent her with grip socks. Since they were not purchased at Defy Gravity, she was not allowed to wear them and had to bounce barefoot. The socks were purchased in California from a company just like yours. That company would not allow you to bounce without grip socks. If customers have them, don't make them take them off if they say something other than "Defy Gravity" on them. On top of that--don't let people bounce without socks!!!!!! read more
