Our gamemaster, Nico, who monitors you during the event, did an outstanding job of giving hints after we struggled on something a while but not waiting too long where you get frustrated. Nico also did a great job role playing the hiring manager for the tattoo parlor at the start of the room. All around a satisfying experience and fun memories.

This was only my second room, but this one was a true challenge. The puzzles and décor in the room are challenging, entertaining, and well thought out. There are some real surprises starting with the beginning, but I will not share that here. I don't want to ruin anything. The staff (Julian) made this a great experience. He provided clues or hints every time we needed them and even gave us extra bonus time at the end. We needed so many clues towards the end that we actually felt stupid asking so much, but he put us at ease and explained that it was not unusual and that the room is really designed for more than just two people. It can be done but it's not easy for only 2. I highly recommend this escape room and my wife and I will be back to try another room soon!

I would have preferred if the whole thing wasn't in the dark (e.g. if we solved some clue and the lights went on it would have been AWESOME). Some of the puzzles were too much of a stretch, and that can be frustrating. But there were still some good reveals and everyone had a great time (though we didn't escape in time. However, it's because some of the puzzles were a bit illogical or went on for TOO LONG- I'm ok doing SOME math and SOME cipher decoding but when you're required to keep doing more of the same, it's just tedious). I'm still a fan of escape rooms but this one was just ok!

There's a large waiting area with a bathroom and a puzzle for while you wait. The staff was very friendly and explained the rules well. One of the locks in our room didn't open so they paused our game time while they came and opened it, so it didn't affect our time. I was not at all a fan of the "group" clue we had in our "New Blood, New World" room, hopefully they don't have something like that in every game cause it totally killed the experience!!! (That's the only reason they didn't get five stars) We escaped the room with time to spare and got a button with our picture taken at the end. The Escape Game in Myrtle Beach allows mixed parties of up to 8 book the same time slot for the adventures. When we arrived, we were paired with a family of 6 enjoying some time together. We all entered the room together (The Depths) and we could tell that this experience was not going to be as fun for the family with the two of us tagging along. We exited to the lobby, where the staff were totally understanding and were able to get us into another adventure (Prison Break), within 20 minutes. We had a blast in the game and were able to escape, which is always a good feeling. When we got back to the lobby the staff wanted to make sure our experience was amazing and hooked us up with a T-Shirt because of the experience at the beginning. All of this to say that if you go, and you have an issue, don't be afraid to speak up. The staff here will figure out a way to make the experience amazing.

They had so much fun we signed up for another one right away. By the end of the week we had come back and done all 5 rooms. Every single room/theme was unique, with a mixture of traditional devices, and high-tech devices. The quality of the escape rooms were top notch. Puzzles were challenging but reasonable. Some really clever unexpected solutions too. But the best part? The staff. Incredibly friendly and great with kids. They created lifelong escape room fans out of our kids. Sure we (adults) did most of the actual solving, but the kids enjoyed finding different objects / props and helping solve clues. There's a good mix of everything. We will definitely try other locations with different themes, in the future. But it will be hard to top the staff experience here at myrtle beach.

The cost was $110 for a group of 3 (about $36 per person). It was a private room and I would suggest 3-5 participants as these are narrow rooms. The lobby had a Steampunk design which immediately had my attention. The hallway was narrow and down each hall there was a door that was assigned to each experience. To be honest it didn't look like it would be much due to size but when we entered the room it was cleverly decorated and very engaging. The length of the room was quite deceptive. To be honest I assumed this would be very easy room since I associated the theme to be childlike but no ma'am, no ham, no turkey! They did a great job and at the end offered us each a bottle water and bracelet. They also offered a discount for your next adventure. To be honest if I had the time I would've booked another room ! To top off the experience we received an email reminding us that we did not escape along with a picture of our experience . If you're in the Fayetteville, NC area or anywhere there's an escapology give it a try!
