This was a great bonding family activity, but I can imagine it also being a great date night or laugh filled experience with friends. Maybe even a great team building adventure with co-workers. The quality of this experience over other escape rooms really sets the tone of future expectation. The waiting lounge was comfortable, everything was sparkling clean, the puzzle was a mind bender, the gamemaster (Arianna) was attentive and focused on our experience being perfect from start to finish! We felt like real VIPs. We want to go back and do all the rooms. It would be great if there was a way to track with a commemorative trinket, or like a digital monopoly game, or buy a special collection shirt for the rooms that we solve! Escape rooms are my jam; so needless to say I was excited to pop in give this place a try. We decided on the Scooby Doo room since it was my birthday weekend. The cost was $110 for a group of 3 (about $36 per person). It was a private room and I would suggest 3-5 participants as these are narrow rooms. The lobby had a Steampunk design which immediately had my attention. The hallway was narrow and down each hall there was a door that was assigned to each experience. To be honest it didn't look like it would be much due to size but when we entered the room it was cleverly decorated and very engaging. The length of the room was quite deceptive. To be honest I assumed this would be very easy room since I associated the theme to be childlike but no ma'am, no ham, no turkey! They did a great job and at the end offered us each a bottle water and bracelet. They also offered a discount for your next adventure. To be honest if I had the time I would've booked another room ! To top off the experience we received an email reminding us that we did not escape along with a picture of our experience . I came in a group of four to Escapology in Fayetteville today and we chose the Budapest Escape Room (which they rank as second to hardest). For a group of four, the total price was $140, roughly $35/ person. Our game-host, Adrianna was thorough in explaining the game and then left us to begin navigating the room. Exhilarating hour-long experience of locating clues and piecing together a 1920s murder mystery. (Without giving away any clues ) i will say our room theme required a great deal of attention to detail with numerical values. Once we escaped the locked first room, it lead to a smaller, second bunker, which eventually lead to the final room in which we were required to compile the clues from all three rooms to finally escape at minute 51/60. Ajdkelfkfle!!! Right at the buzzer!! Advice -- (1) in my opinion, a group of no more than five is probably best to maneuver the smaller spaces, but having the brainpower of a few people is sure to make your chances of escaping better. (2) write down as many clues on the whiteboard from the initial story as you can -- this will help throughout the entire hour. Overall -- great experience, would love to try another room! read more

This is our second escape room experience as a group in this by far is a very clean organized company. All clues were clear and easy to understand and to the point in our previous experiences, the clues had been written so many times so you can almost get the code because they had been written in a permanent marker pen. Had the chance to do our first escape room. I was not the one pushing this idea as I've always seen these things in run down parts of town and I'm not a puzzle person, but regardless I drove the family down to see what it was like. I was really surprised to see this place is right in the heart of a new major shopping area in a brand new building. Parking was excellent and it was obvious there were a lot of things to do close by with more coming. The build quality of the facility inside was amazing. I expected kinda cheesy but frankly it was built better than my house. High end props, very classy lounge area with super cool chairs and comfy couches, all brand new. We did the under pressure room and escaped with 47 seconds to go (after lots of hints) and then received free pictures with props, complimentary water, and even arm bands with the name of the room we successfully escaped from. Overall it was a very classy operation and the whole family gushed over how much fun they'd had. Since they NEVER ALL like anything and constantly bicker over music, movie, which seat who sits in, etc. seeing everyone enjoy one event was eye opening. We just had a blast at escapology! It was such an amazing experience. My 7 year old has been begging to come here for weeks but I was worried it might be a little to complicated. Our game host Ariana made the experience truly amazing! She provided amazing customer service and helped us when we needed a little nudge. Very impressed! I've done around 15 different escape rooms in 5 or 6 different places, and this was one of the best! Very appealing interior presents a bit of a steampunk atmosphere while you wait to start your room. The staff was incredibly polite and very informative. And patient with new escapers. The room, puzzles, and effects were all well designed, thought provoking and fun, but best of all they were JUST difficult enough to challenge you without breaking your will to continue. The best escape room in Fayetteville!! We had so much fun as a family solving the Antidote Room. This was our first escape room as a family, and our kids (10 & 7 years old) had such an exciting time. Escapology was well organized and well maintained. At every other escape room in Fayetteville we've had issues with something being broken or the staff forgetting to reset something in a room and that would take away from the experience. We have been twice now. First visit was Budapest Express and we would give that a 5. It was clever. We just went last night 8/13/2022 and my wife and I agree it is a flat ZERO in the Antidote room. There was a clue in the second room that has a TV screen and a board you need to uncover the combination. We spent too much time screwing with it. We had to ask 4 clues, which 3 of which were 2 minute penalties, but then we stuck on it for over 20 minutes and could not get it. They finally gave us the code. At the end we asked them to show us the code, and Arianna could NOT. She tried. It was like a digital Salvadore Dali version of numbers. It could have been so much better. We figured out the way to find the answer, but their idea of reading numbers was bad, real bad! They offered us nothing in compensation. It was disappointing, and I do not recommend Antidote unless they fix that. We love the challenges, but she could NOT show us the combination! read more
