Great service! We flew in on Christmas Day during a super busy time and although we had a 11 pm shuttle, they were able to accomodate us by putting us on standby. Driver was nice and helpful and luckily we were the first stop after pickup at Eagle airport. We only wish that we had rented a car since we were skiing multiple resorts in Vail Valley. It would have been more convenient at the same cost ($50 per person times 2, totals $200 round trip). Plus cab ride to Beaver Creek and we ended up renting a car to go to Vail (do you really want to go on the public bus with all your ski gear? Also, inconvenient for apres skiing at night). The rental car was $50/day. Save yourself the hassle and just rent a car from the airport if skiing Vail Valley. The taxi driver and car service both told us that the resorts have an ownership stake in CME so they tend to push this service. Even ordering a private car is better since it's only your party in the car ($90) and you know for sure just one stop. read more

This is my third time riding up or down the mountains and this last experience blew my mind. The leather seats were comfy, shoulder & lap belts for each passenger, and WiFi on board. This made a 2-hour trip that much more enjoyable. The drivers are always courteous and keep you informed. We drove on a thunder and lightning afternoon but traveled safely. read more

This was a TERRiBLE experience! 1) I waited in the van for 30 minutes as CME had difficulty getting a finalized manifest to the driver (no manifest, no ability to leave) - how hard is this? 2) the van clearly had a few issues as the driver was pouring windshield washer fluid on the front windshield to clean it 3) after landing early, I lost an hour dealing w CME when I needed to get to my hotel. Repeat Terrible. 4) 4 CME vans left while I left I sat in the Van. I will Never use this service. They lost me on their first attempt and I'd rather pay double or triple than deal with these absolutely terrible customer service and performance. Absolutely horrible. First, I got to the front desk and the staff had no idea what was going on. I showed them my reservation email and they took close to half an hour to fix my ride. Then the driver arrived, late and, despite saying he had worked for CME for three years, had no idea what the hell was going on. Took forever to load the car and then decided that messing around under the hood was a good idea. He then decided to tell us his life story and how he got into driving for CME, even though we were 20 minutes off our planned departure time. Overall, rude customer service and unreliable. read more

They work on their schedule, based on how many passengers, not the posted one we made a reservation on. They only seem to leave when the vans are full, even if that is an hour late, just because "that is how we operate". Offered a 20 refund after a few calls to management only when I said the phase "it's fine, I'll just post a yelp review". They have yet to give me the credit after a couple weeks and can now deal with my credit card company. I will try every means of transportation to the mountains before I use them again. read more

I had a ride from CME a couple of days ago. This was my second trip with them from Glenwood Springs to the Denver Airport. It was quite enjoyable, relaxing and worry free. The price of this shuttle service was pretty good. They were accommodating to our flight delays. They have WiFi in their vehicles. The staff was friendly. However, they should learn to use Google Maps (or some other service) for traffic and directions, both to and from the airport had a little bit of difficulty. read more

I really wanted to give them five stars. The driver was good, the van was clean and the reservation process was easy. However, I left behind a item that had no real value other than sentiment. I realized I'd forgotten it and called the company moments after they dropped me off. Despite assurances that they would have the driver look for it and tell me how to pick it up I never heard back. When I tried to follow up the next day the people answering the phone were irritated and short with me and told me that the van had been cleaned and the item wasn't there. It can't be uncommon that people forget things. It was an emotionally difficult item to lose, to then be treated poor only made it worse. I doubt I'll ever use them again. read more

I have been using this service since it was called Vans to Vail and then Colorado Mountain Express. From DIA to Vail they would always make a stop in Idaho Springs UNLESS everyone voted to bypass the stop(making the trip 20 minutes shorter). Now however they stop,MAKE you get off because they HAVE TO get gas. It's the excuse they use in hopes that you'll spend money in the store that is owned by them. NOBODY bought anything. Such a scam. Will never use them again. Paying for a private car service despite the cost is worth it. read more

Christy Harms was easy to work with in booking the services, making recommendations on quantity and timing of vehicles and handled all of our special requests and changes quickly, professionally and with ease. Terrible ride. They squeezed 4 seats into space for 3. For a 2 hour ride to Vail it's very uncomfortable.

The experience was not good at all. We went to the counter where we were given a gruff response as to where we should be. The attitude in general was as though our presence was an inconvenience. Then, when taken by another person to the meeting place there was complete attitude. We then were CRAMMED into the van with 10 other people "to keep us from waiting for a 2nd van." Uh yea right, it is financially beneficial to jam as many people as possible into 1 van. It also seems to be a common thread in every posting here.The driver was snippy with us when we could not hear him. He was mumbling and we were in the very back seat. As a former employee, i gotta tell you, this company sucks. the customers are usually cool, their just happy to be on vacation, and as long as your polite, helpful, don't mess up there ski's or lose ther luggage, no problem. although i have to say, PLEASE TIP YOUR DRIVER. he /she got you there safely, despite probable adverse conditions. As for the company....yikes. required minimum of two trips a day, two hours from vail to DIA, thats 8 hours right there. add in pick up/ drop off, and 2-6 hours hanging around at the airport, crappy airport food...you get the drift. my personal favorite insult though was at the end of the season when dispatch had me drive a van back to the leasing company. the state trooper who pulled me over gave me a ticket for having the buisness licence info scrapped off the door. a $275.0 ticket that I had to pay, as managment refused. the only thing good i can say about them is that I became very good at driving in snow. My experience with CME was quite nice. They were able to accommodate me on an earlier ride as my plane arrived before schedule and someone did not show up. Furthermore, we experienced no delays, the driver was attentive and respectful and I lucked out as the weather was perfect and the people in the shuttle were tolerable. Overall I have had a decent experience on many trips with CME and would recommend them as a reasonable option. However, on one occasion I was told shuttle would arrive at the airport in about 10 minutes, so I left for less than 5 minutes to grab some food and by the time I got back the shuttle had just left and taken my bags with no attempt to wait for me for one minute or call or text me. I think this was atypical but be aware that this can happen. read more

NEVER AGAIN!! I have used CME three years in a row from Denver to Breckenridge, and our experience has consistently gotten worse. This last trip (3/2/17) we had a family of eight who wanted to all ride back to DIA together. That should be a simple request. I personally made 2 phone calls (the last one the day before departure) to make sure that our separate reservations would all be linked together so that my husband and adult children could all ride together for the last leg of our trip. I was ASSURED TWICE that the reservations were linked and that notes were in the computer for dispatch. "No problem!" I was told. Shuttles arrived on time but the driver had no record of my request. 2 of my children were sent to DIA in another van. Got to the airport and went to the CME counter and they couldn't have cared less. They looked up the reservation in the computer, acknowledged that the notes were there, and then basically just blew me off. Also, don't be fooled by their snazzy website featuring luxury Sprinter and Mercedes vans. 10 person Chevy passenger vans are used, many of them seem well worn and old, and they cram them full to the point of danger. This past trip, our van was packed with 10 passengers and seemed overloaded, swaying back and forth on I-70 due to the heavy amount of luggage. I understand a business needing to make a profit, but if you use CME, your comfort, safety and convenience are generally ignored. The only good thing I can say is that our drivers have been very professional and did apologize for putting our kids on different vans and for the overcrowding. Not much they can do about it. You gotta get better, CME. read more

As a long time local, I used to use CME all the time to get to DIA. The service was great and convenient. But ever since Vail Resorts bought the company it has gone down hill. The trip used to take a little over 2 hours from edwards. My return trip last night took close to 3.5 hours. There are so many drop-offs that we spent over an hour in the Vail Valley before my stop came up. And the driver was doing about 10 mph under the speed limit and took 2 wrong turns in the valley which added time to our trip. That kinda sucks when you pay $20 extra dollars to get dropped off at your door. All in all, CME is not what it used to be. The service sucks and I will no longer be using them ever again. read more

I took the CME from DIA on Dec 19, and then back to DIA on the 28th. The van was 20 mins late leaving the airport, but this was a-ok for my brother and me as our flight was nearly an hour delayed, so we were grateful to catch the CME at all! But, once we got to Beaver Creek, we discovered that our driver had not received the change of final destination in our reservations, which was to be our brother's house in Edwards. The driver did not have GPS and was unable to navigate the map provided him by CME, leaving my brother and me to figure out the location of our brother's house, guiding the driver road by road and turn by turn to the house. We could not phone our brother due to both owning out-of-country cell phones. The driver did use the radio in the van to ask your office for help, but none was provided. This all added about an extra 30 minutes to our journey, bringing the total trip time from the airport to nearly 4 hours. The return trip was very smooth - left VTC at 6am and arrived at DIA at 8am. The roads were very scary on the way through the pass, covered in snow and ice, and I am thankful for the driver's attention to detail, patience and skill for getting all of us to the airport safely. If not for the kerfuffle in having to find our way to the house due to lack of resources for the driver, I would have given my overall experience 5 stars. Regardless, I would definitely recommend CME, and I will use it on my next trip to Edwards. read more

I was picked up at 8:38am from my condo. I was told as I was getting into the van that because of the large amount of people traveling with your service, I would be brought to a charter bus. This was fine. However, once picking up other people at their condos we arrived at the bus and waited until 9:58am to leave - OVER an hour. I purposely chose to use this service on the way home because my other shuttle option was leaving at 10:00am. This was a complete waste of my money (for one thing) and if I had known what time I would actually leave, then i would have never used your service to begin with. When you say you will be picked up at 8:40am you don't expect to actually leave the area around 10:00am. That is being dishonest to the customer. I probably would have been more calm about the situation, but the lady from your "service" was the rudest women I have ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with. As people got more and more worried about missing flights, she just would say "Yes, i understand." (with a sarcastic tone) and show ZERO compassion for our situation. Everyone on the bus was disgusted with her customer service OR lack there of. She should not be in the service industry - that is for sure! She told us several times that it would only be 5 more minutes. From the first time she told us that, I timed it. It was OVER 20 minutes until we actually left. I just want to reiterate that I was sitting on a stationary coach bus for OVER an hour with no real good explanation for why other than we were waiting on more of their vans to get to the charter bus. I had read at the bottom of the confirmation e-mail that the use of charter buses was used in times of heavy travel, but I think you should inform the customer before they are getting into your vehicle - it was VERY misleading. You should have informed me prior to that. A call or text 48 hours before would have given me the chance or opportunity to consider other options, but once it was that morning I had no other choice but to take your shuttle. - deceiving and inconsiderate to say the least. Most frustrating experience of my life. And worst, is no one ever offered any compensation (such as a MUCH deserved refund). Would never recommend this service to ANYONE for ANY reason. The only good part of my trip was the drive once I was away from the staff and on the road with the separate company's charter bus driver. _________________________ UPDATE: After speaking with one of their department heads, I was given a refund and an apology - at least they saw their mistake and tried to make it right! read more

Ugh, I really don't know how to begin this b/c there are some really good points about this service, yet there are some major drawbacks.....I'll give this place 3 (would like to give 3.5 at best) stars simply b/c I can't imagine having to drive a rental car 2 hours from Vail to Denver in snow and ice.... I'll start with the good. If you think about it, this place is mega convenient!! Like I said above, I would never be able to drive 2 hours on ice, windy roads in bad conditions. The pickup location in DIA is easy to find and the drivers were very nice and professional, always asking if the temp in the car was ok. They also offer to make a pit stop halfway thru the journey for restroom breaks, coffee, food. On our way back to DIA last time from Vail, the roads were awful: icy and snowy. Our driver got us to DIA safely, timely, and did a great job driving. I was very impressed. Now onto the bad....ughhhhh, I feel bad saying this bc the drivers are very nice but man, the vans are MEGA uncomfortable. 9 people (not including driver adn front passenger) are CRAMMED into this van and it's very tight and uncomfortable, esp during 2-3 hour car rides. My entire body was tight/sore after both rides . It's almost tortorous....I wish we splurged for our own private van, it would've been worth the money. I feel like (if this is possible) they could have more vans running at once and less people per van. For the price you pay per person, the ride should be more comfortable!!!!!!! This place is NOT cheap. Also, to make matters worse (which was out of the company's control) I was stuck crammed next to some psycho named Madison who kept complaining that she wanted a knife to stab herself bc she's stuck between 2 people in a small van. Then she proceeded to cry while talking very loudly on her cell phone (while the rest of the van was silent) and then started laughing while talking about butt injections. Thankfully, some amazing saint of a woman turned around and asked her to shut her trap, adn she did. Then she proceeds to hold up the van at the rest stop while she charged her phone. Real piece of work, that one...........thankfully I didn't run into her in Vail and she wasn't on my van coming home. Ugh, I'm sure we'll use this company again but I won't be looking forward to it if we're stuck in a crammed van read more

Our driver was over half an hour late, and when we got on the shuttle, the seat I had to sit in was not even big enough for a child, crammed up against the window. My back is in pain from having to sit sideways. They pack 13 people in the shuttle. I will never use this inferior service ever again. I never write reviews, but I wish I had known that I would be in physical pain because of their need to fit a few more people in. Oh yeah...the shuttle can't even go faster than 30 mph and has the hazards on while on the highway. read more

We took CME from Frisco Transportation Center to DIA on a Sunday in the summer. We knew traffic would be bad but didn't imagine how bad it really would be...when Loveland Pass was shut for a bike race. Our driver in 786 did an amazing job of navigating the backroads, and all the drivers kept in contact with each other via CB to stay updated on the road conditions and where there were backups. This coordination made our trip even smoother, and faster. The driver was courteous and safe. Although the ride took 2 hours over what we had hoped it would, CME had correctly estimated the time of the trip and they did everything to get us to the airport just in the nick of time. If you're searching for transportation for a wedding I highly recommend CME. After contacting a few transportation services to shuttle wedding guest to our daughter's wedding we choose CME and was thrilled with the service we received. Beginning at the planning stage right up to the end of the reception when the last guest was shuttled back to the hotel, CME was very easy to work with and the drivers were very professional and highly skilled. We needed to transport 30 guests from Vail CO up to Piney River Ranch, a 45 minute drive on a narrow, dirt and bumpy road. Comfort and being on time were a must and they provided this service perfectly in 10 passenger sprinter vans. During the planning process our guests estimates fluctuated from 100-30 guests up until the day before the wedding when the final numbers were finalized. They were always available to answer our questions and provided cost estimates as needed. read more

I was really disappointed with the CME service. First, a fender-bender at DIA delayed our departure which was a bummer as it really seemed to take a while. The shuttle itself was one of the most cramped and uncomfortable I've ever ridden on. The windows were completely covered in those cheap adhesive advertisement tarps you sometimes see stuck to public busses that completely covered all windows aside from the windshield- destroying the gorgeous mountain views which was a shame as it was a gorgeous day leaving Denver. Also, there was no airflow at all going up which combined with the lack of ability to see, really made the van feel even more claustrophobic. So no views, cramped seats, 3-person rows, no aisle, no complimentary bottled water, no armrests, no air...just a bummer- one of the worst ways I can think of driving out of Denver. I'd sooner ride the bus because at least on a coach, there are usually comfortable seats, windows you can actually see out of, tray tables, and most importantly- AIR! Save your money and ride the bus or use their competitors. Im so bummed I introduced friends to Colorado on that miserable van. That said, when we reached Vail, they had a transfer for us ready to go in an SUV that took us directly to our destination which was a nice gesture. Still, I can't recommend based on the two hour ordeal we had out of Denver. They need to take the ads off the windows before I'd ever use them again. read more
