I want to say that my initial experience with this company was not the best. I was given misinformation on a phone call about the availability of a shuttle. When I went back to book, the shuttle was no longer available. At first, I was told there was nothing they could do when I called to inquire. However, I escalated this to one of the supervisors (Anthony). He pulled my recorded call with my sales rep from the week prior and agreed I was given misinformation. He took the time to move some things around and correct the issue and got me on a shuttle as I was promised. I understand that businesses can make mistakes and I never fault them for that if they can turn around and provide 5 star service recovery. That makes all the difference when choosing a company to do business with. read more

I had to cancel my shuttle within 24 hours. I understand the policy of 'no refund within 24 hours.' However, I thought given my situation an exception would be made. My 6 year old son is unfortunately in the Hospital; as such, I had to post-pone my flight to Denver. At my new arrival time, I have a business acquaitance that can give me a ride up the mountain. While I truly don't care about the money, what I do care about is the lack of empathy and compassion that the Manager at Colorado Mountain Express displayed. Think about this quote, which I have shared with customer service professionals nationwide: "people may not always remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel!". When I hung up the phone with this genteleman, I felt disheartened and disappointed. Imagine the contrary should he have shown just an ounce of compassion. I would have told everyone I know about the wonderful experience that I had with Colorado Mountain Express, given my situation, should this converation had taken a turn for the better. I paid for a scheduled shuttle service (round trip) during my weekend at Copper Mountain. On the day I was supposed to fly home my driver was 1 hour and 20 minutes late putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. Rather than call me to update me on travel delays from the driver, I was forced to repeatedly call their reservations office. The staff was less than helpful in resolving my concerns and when I asked to speak to upper management to escalate the matter, I was placed on hold for periods of over 15 minutes only to have the same agent pick up the phone. They never escalated my request and it resulted in one of the worst and most stressful travel experiences of my life. For what I paid for my 'reservation' I would have been better off renting a car. It is what I will do in the future and I recommend others do the same instead of paying for this service. read more

We rode with CME from DIA to Vail on 1/10/15 and returned to DIA from Vail on 1/17/15. I only wish there was a provision for giving negative stars. While our ride from the Denver airport to Vail was not bad (still somewhat crowded in a small van but otherwise tolerable) the trip from Vail back to Denver was an absolute nightmare. It started when the CME driver popped his head into our hotel lobby and asked if we were waiting for CME. We said yes, he picked up our luggage, loaded it onto the van and proceeded to take us about halfway to Eagle Vail Airport before identifying us and our destination. We had just assumed he was headed that direction to pick up another party prior to heading to Denver. When he realized he had the wrong guests, he did a U-turn and took us back to our hotel in Vail. He said a second van would be arriving in about five minutes to pick us up. There was no apology, no further words. Another van arrived in a few minutes. When the driver opened the doors for us to load, the van already had eight passengers and a full load of luggage. My wife and I received extremely unfriendly glares and a few comments from the passengers already on the van and no one would sacrificed any of their seating space to allow us to comfortably get on board. It then took the driver at least 15 to 20 minutes to cram all of the luggage into the van for all 10 passengers. Skis were jammed into the small exit aisle along the side of the van interior (a Colorado DOT safety violation) and luggage was wedged into the back all the way to the ceiling as well as stuffed under all of the seats on which we were sitting. My wife was wedged into the back seat in an extremely uncomfortable position for the full 2 1/2 hour ride back to Denver as was I, sitting on the edge of the seat behind a fully reclined front passenger seat, whose occupant refused to give me any more space. The driver failed to make the rest stop advertised at the halfway point to Denver. Overall, the aura in the van was very dark and angry. A few things were said by the other passengers which led us to believe that the driver had said things to them prior to our pick up that were less than complementary about my wife and myself...such as, "Sorry, we have to stop and pick up a couple who missed their originally scheduled van." In an attempt to break the ice with the gentleman crowding me off the end of my seat, I asked "Were you skiing in Vail?" He replied "No...we were in Beaver Creek and had to stop here to pick you up!" I received a phone call the other night from a representative of CME who called only to say that the luggage blocking the exit aisle "problem" had been rectified with new instructions to drivers (because I told them I would be reporting that to Colorado DOT) but no apology or mention of the rest of the horrible treatment. In my opinion, this is a terrible company which provides some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I WILL NEVER USE COLORADO MOUNTAIN EXPRESS AGAIN!! read more

I am not a big fan of Colorado Mountain Express. Taking the shuttle to Aspen from Denver meant waiting at the airport for 3.5 hours after my flight arrived before the shuttle would depart, presumably to pack in more passengers, which got me into Aspen at 3:00 am vs. 11:00 pm or midnight, ugh! Once they finally picked us up, we were carted to Aspen in a very old, rickety van that was incredibly uncomfortable for a five hour ride. On the return from Aspen, taking the shuttle meant getting picked up from my hotel 8 hours prior to my departure from Denver and again having about a 3-4 wait at the airport; not ideal. This go round, however, we were picked up in a newer van, called the Sprinter by Mercedes. Much more comfortable, better wifi, etc. The problem with this portion of the trip however were the amount of transfers from one van to the other. First I was picked up in Aspen and after picking up several other guests, taken to Snowmass where we were told another van would meet us to board three more passengers. What ended up happening was the bus that I was on had to unload and get on their bus, ugh! Then this second van picked up a few more people and we went to another location about 45 minutes way and transferred to another driver. Then, our driver, did not like the noise that the breaks were making (which all the other CME vans that I road in made likely due to the snow) and requested ANOTHER van transfer, ANOTHER VAN TRANSFER!!! Geez, can we just get there already! It was really in excess. So, my advice, if you are traveling to Aspen from Denver would be to fly directly to Aspen and avoid taking the CME. The additional nearly $250 + fee (per person, round trip) that you'll pay CME for the shuttle service, when applied towards a plane ticket will probably end up costing about the same if not a little more to fly BUT you'll gain more time for leisure and less time on the road, as well as, saving yourself the annoyance and discomfort of multiple transfers. It is unlikely that I would use this service again unless I was in an extremely desperate situation. Also, they advertise internet on board, which did not work nearly the entire 5 hour trip (round trip), which was an extreme disservice to passengers like myself banking on trying to make the most of those 5 hours by getting some work done remotely. Why not two stars? I made it in safely to my destination so that has to count for something, right? read more

My mom and I had a very good experience using CME to get to and from Eagle airport to Vail. The staff is friendly and timely. You can book in advance online or over the phone or you can visit the kiosk at the airport when you get there. Round trip for two people cost $98, which is a lot less than most other transportation options. read more

Hands down the worst service one could ask for. The two people I spoke with from CME were very comfortable not accepting any level of responsibility for arriving late to pick up me up or late to the airport making me miss my flight. To top it off, they felt it appropriate to stop at Starbucks along the way, eliminating any chance of making my flight. The driver noted the van stops at the Starbucks because it shares the same ownership group as the transportation company. Good to know their margins are more important than their customers making their flights. read more

I arrived at the time of departure exactly. Told the agent where I was going. The agent informed me the shuttle to Summit was booked full. I said, no problem, I have a reservation. He then told me, "your seat was sold. There were multiple people on the waiting list." WTF?!?! Waited 3 hours at the airport for the next available shuttle on any of the other companies. read more

The ride was 25 minutes late going back to DIA (waiting outside in the snow) with no notification that they would be late. I didn't get an apology from the driver, either. Then, I had to load my own bag and crowd into a smaller-than-it-should-have been van for the long trip to the airport. This service is by no means worth the good money we pay for it. I've been using CME for years. Ever since we purchased our condo in Vail (over 10 years ago). They have always been pretty efficient and friendly. Always seemed like the way to go! But this time was SO different. The man at the counter (assuming his name is EOlson because that's the name on receipt) was so incredibly rude! Not sure if he was just having an off day or hates his job but he obviously should NOT be the one in contact with your customers. Sad to say not what it used to be. Use this company as your last resort. I had an appointment after my flight. Everything was going fine up until after the van was loaded. The driver told us to put on our seatbelts. Everyone did. We proceed to sit in the van for thirty minutes waiting for a tenth person (cause 9 was not full enough) after waiting for 30 minutes for a tenth person we finally depart with 9. Before we left the parking lot the van was asked to turn around to go pick up a tenth person. When we got back to pick up the tenth person I got off to speak with management. Got my money back and took a taxi. Which for two people is only an additional $10 per person. Plus you don't have to wonder how many stops the shuttle is going to make before dropping you off. Save your frustration and take a taxi. Especially if you have two or more people in your party. read more

This service is terrible! Be careful. They told me they ran at 3:00 and 4:00 on my date only to cancel and want us to take the 1:00...from Vail...a ski town...where we don't get to be every day. Way to ruin a day of skiing! I made plans and a plane reservation on the information they gave me. Shame on you Crystal and CME! I wish I could give this 0 stars. We made a reservation at 2:30, he showed up at 2 and then left in 5 mins without us. We called multiple times and they told us that they would send another van and it would get to the hotel in 10 mins, it took them 30. After we got into the van, they said that they couldn't take us directly to the airport and that we would have to take 2 transfer vans. We had to sprint through the airport to make our flight. I drive I 70 every day and am a safe driver but go pretty fast in snowy conditions. I routinely have issues with cme drivers passing on snow packed roads between trucks in situations that are dangerous and for no apparent reason. In my opinion they are unsafe drivers and therefor I would send my family with another company. read more

Inexpensive way to Travel from eagle airport to vail just be ready to be wedged in like sardines. Revenue is their key motivator not comfort. A few people ended up holding their luggage it was way overcrowded! read more

My friends and I took this shuttle when we were staying in Vail this past January 2014. I booked in advance, received a great group rate (3 people) and had no trouble locating the shuttle counter at the airport. On the trip down to Vail things were a bit frustrating. We arrived at the shuttle counter at 9:55 and were told the 10:00 shuttle was full and had already left? We were a bit confused at this but they said another would be along shortly and they would put us on it. We waited about 10 minutes and another shuttle was ready to go, or so we thought. My friends and I got on the shuttle and after 5 minutes of sitting there wondered why we weren't moving. We asked the shuttle driver and he said we were waiting for other passengers. Finally 2 more people showed up and we thought great, we are ready to go. No so fast... We waited AGAIN and AGAIN asked the driver what the deal was. He said dispatch told him to wait for more people. This went on until the ENTIRE shuttle was packed to capacity with both luggage and people. When about 8 people were jam packed in the shuttle with no room left the driver indicated to dispatch that he thought we should leave and they told him no, wait for more 2 more people for a total of 10 which was max capacity. The luggage area was completely full and we had gear inside the passenger section making matters worse. The driver was not very considerate of our bags. He even dropped someone's equipment on the floor and didn't apologize. After that, he started to drive away and left a bag in the middle of the road and had to go back once he noticed it in his mirror!!! In the end, we departed around 30 mins later than they told us we would because we continuously waited for more walk ons to arrive. The driver was safe, and the ride was smooth to Vail. However, the wireless barely worked as advertised. I have Sprint service on my phone and the signal was strong pretty much the entire way so I know it was the equipment on the bus, not the service provider. I didn't really expect it to work but considering it is an advertised feature it really should be functional. Once we arrived in Vail I sent the company an email telling them I was considering cancelling our return trip with them and they worked with us on a resolution. They agreed to only put 9 people on the return trip instead of 10. They also discounted our trip down there. Our flight got cancelled on the return trip and a simple call to them arranged a rescheduled pickup with no type of cancellation or reschedule fee which was nice. The bus arrived timely for pickup and we had no problems on the way back to Denver. This driver was much nicer and much more considerate of our equipment. I am a small dude so it wasn't so bad for me and I would consider using them again but if you are a larger individual this will not be a comfortable ride for you if the company continues packing these vans to max capacity. I guess the only solution is to make the trip a little more expensive and take less people. I think most people would be happier with that arrangement. read more

We rode the scheduled van service out of DIA to Beaver Creek, and then took a "premium" reserved Sprinter van with another family back from Beaver Creek to Denver. Outbound: organization and dispatch from DIA is quite smooth -- leave straight from the terminal rather than having to haul bags for a while or even take an intermediate shuttle. The trip out was a bit late getting going vs schedule, the van a tad cold (on a cold night), and the stop for gas wasn't appreciated -- the van could have filled up before picking us up I am sure. Value reasonable esp. vs. connecting flights to the local airport for Vail/Beaver Creek (where you still have to arrange local transit for the last leg, at quite a cost). Service was to our hotel door at arrival. Inbound: the Sprinter van was reserved for us, and arrived well ahead of reserved schedule at our hotel. Vans aren't party vans, just straightforward with bench seats, but spacious, accommodated 9 people plus significant gear. Driver navigated traffic adroitly, including getting around traffic by surface streets, and got us to downtown Denver on time. Not cheap but worth it overall. Driver helped with bags on both ends. read more

I expected a direct transfer from Beaver Creek to the airport, this is what I paid for but was not what I received. I was transferred from three vehicles on the trip - I left Beaver Creek at 5:45pm and arrived at DIA after 9:30pm. I am adding my review to Yelp so others can understand what they should expect, I was charged $95 for this trip (Feb 2016). Overall the service was disorganized and hard to plan for a flight departure, I was told to expect a 2 1/2 hour journey at that time of the day - it took almost 4 hours (most people would miss their flights based on this experience). I understand the BC service is NEVER direct, there is a transfer to the Breck shuttle, and if that is running late, then you have to wait, and that wait is in some remote parking lot with zero services, no bathroom etc. (a remote dark parking lot, it felt like they were not allowed to used the formal transfer lot, about 1/4 mile away). Finally I arrived at DIA safe, but cold and tired - it was expensive and the service was poor, maybe that's what we should expect from ski services during the ski season. read more

Excellent experience! Leaving Denver International Airport headed to Keystone Resort, the weather was TERRIBLE...heavy snow and hazardous road conditions! Our driver was calm and safe in the wintery mess. He drove with caution and care. Leaving Keystone driving back to DIA, we experienced the same excellent service although the roads were clear and the weather was perfect. I would certainly ride with this company again. read more

Wow, these guys were great. Who would have thought I'd be inspired to write a Yelp review of an airport shuttle service? The website is easy to use - you input your flight details and it suggests a shuttle time and you can make and pay for your reservation in advance. Then you just find the counter at the airport when you arrive - it's conveniently located by the rental car counters in ground transport - and check in. Oh - I got a text when I landed welcoming me to Denver and giving me instructions about how to proceed! The one bad thing is the shuttles don't run all that often, so for our flight that landed at noon we had to wait for the 2 pm shuttle. But, hey, it's a four hour round trip drive and many shuttles leave at the same time and I get that they just can't have one every ten minutes. It was fine - we got a snack and hung out. We did ask the counter if we might get on an earlier shuttle and the friendly young man working there put us on standby and kept us updated on whether they would have room. Maybe I'm just used to NYC "customer service" but everyone at this place was ridiculously patient, helpful and friendly. Anyway, some of the shuttles (but not ours) had gotten stuck in traffic and were late - I imagine that happens a lot. The driver put our luggage on a cart and loaded up the van and during the drive told us all about the sights, the different cities and what they had to offer, and about the pine beetle infestation and other interesting stuff. Oh and there is free wi-fi on the van! The epic part was when we got to our hotel. We were part of a conference group, and there had been some mix up on the part of the conference organizers, but the shuttle company radioed the driver and let him know we should be taken to a different building than we'd thought. When we got there, there was more confusion, but the driver took us to one building for meeting registration, then drove us to a second building for hotel check ins, and waited for all 8 of us to check in both places (there was a long line at hotel checkin!) and THEN drove all of us to our various lodging assignments. The guy could have just dropped us off at the designated spot we'd arranged to be dropped off at, but instead he did all this work to make sure we all got where we needed to go. I'm still in awe. Given all the conference mix-ups, it was a striking contrast that the shuttle company was so competent. The driver was so great that we tipped him (of course), AND I asked his name when we returned to the airport to go home (It was Brian Angel, by the way. If you get that guy as your driver, you will be in very good hands!) and I'm writing this review! The return drive went perfectly. I got a text the day before confirming the reservation for the return trip, and the driver arrived promptly and got us to the airport in plenty of time and was also very friendly and helpful. My colleagues had booked together and returned to the counter to ask about getting separate receipts printed for reimbursement, and we dealt with yet another employer who was super helpful and patient and polite and friendly! He said "be sure to use us for your next trip to CO" but I don't know if I will ever be back to that area...however, I hope I can drive some business their way with this review! read more

I had a documented medical necessity that prohibited me from using my scheduled reservation and they would not entertain the idea of a refund. It is a slimy monopoly service. Absolutely terrible experience. Booked a CME van to get from Vail to downtown Denver. Picked us up in Vail, then stopped in Frisco where we sat for 50 minutes (not exaggerating) waiting for one passenger who was supposed to be delivered from Breckenridge. I called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do and that the supervisor was too busy to address the problem. Seven other passengers were forced to wait because they weren't willing to send another van for them. There were no weather issues or other reasons for the delay, just poor management. Thank God there are competitors now (Peak 1 and Summit) so that CME no longer has a monopoly. Will never use again. read more

I appreciate the quick resolution to the original problem , however it shouldn't of felt like a tooth getting pulled to correct the problem it felt like I was talking to a brick wall when I was talking to your customer service reps over the phone to get this resolved who steadfastly denied me a refund but yet offered me different compensation even after your rep not the hotel concierge (which you happen to own) so either which way you slice it, it was your rep that quoted me the price verified it was the price she gave over the phone which to me makes no sense at all and which lead to me posting this the only positive out of this experience was the driver. read more

My flight got delayed and when rescheduling my CME trip to airport, the dispatcher was rude and dismissive on the phone. When I said I used them all the time I was told "what difference does that make?" After being put on hold, I was finally squeezed onto a later shuttle, though it was like pulling teeth. Great customer service. On the other hand, the shuttle drivers have always been polite and great, which is why the 2 stars. read more

In Vail for a wedding, I booked Epic Mountain Express to shuttle me back to the Denver Airport. The front desk called my room and let me know the driver was early (15min). I said I would be down in 10 mins and was out front in 10 mins as promised. The hotel valet was shocked to find the driver had left without a word. All 3 valet staff insisted they told the driver I would be down in 10 mins, and although rude, he acknowledged it. After 3 phone calls to customer service, the defiant Epic Mountain Express unapologetically left me stranded in Vail to miss my flight home. I ended up having to book a private car for $500. At the time of this review, I am still trying to get my fair refunded by Epic Mountain Express. I wish I had checked reviews before booking. read more

Had a great ride from EGE to Beaver Creek and back. Everyhing was on time, safe, and friendly.

I am a wedding coordinator and my clients chose to hire Colorado Mountain Express for their Beaver Creek/Edwards wedding. We hired them for shuttle service to the ceremony location (from four different pick-up locations), then from the ceremony to the reception, and then rides home for all guests at the end of the evening. As you can imagine, I've worked with a number of transportation companies during my time as a wedding coordinator. The service that CME provided to my clients' guests was top notch. I have never worked with a transportation company who was so prepared, on top of the plan and schedule, and friendly. Every single person from CME that I interacted with on Saturday was a gem. This a great service. We booked a chartered shuttle for 7 from DEN to Breckenridge. They lady we checked in was great and as soon as we had all our luggage we were on the road. Driver was great, safe and knowledgable. Our service cost us $525 to rent an SUV to hold 7 it would have been $3,000. I highly recommend CME! read more
