The quality of food is as good as I remember from a. couple years back. The service is good despite being busy. The ambience resembles that of a mom and pop shop in the Philippines. The portion got smaller though but enough to fill you up.

We went during a busy time but they took our number down to call us when a table was ready so we walked around the neighbourhood. There was still a bit of a wait when we got a table which was no problem since it was packed. We saw a lot of Filipino people there so we knew they had good stuff here. We ordered each a combo 1 plate of silog with 2 meats. I got the beef and spring rolls and it was DELICIOUS!! My partner also enjoyed his silog too (beef & pork jerky). The vinegar paired very well with the garlic rice and the meats were super flavourful. 10/10 would recommend.

Came a second time around in less than two weeks. My Filipino tastebud is craving for Silog! Yum really satisfied my craving. Came on a Monday and it's not as busy which I enjoyed. Got to chat with the server and the owners. BTW, they also sell their vinegar sauce for about $7.50 a bottle.

    Combo 2: Longanisa & Bangus

Visited yesterday morning and thought that Silog's was so charming and reminded me of home! The owner and staff were extremely welcoming and I enjoyed the longanisa & bangus combo. The longanisa was a new taste for me, and I enjoyed the baby bangus as well! Would definitely visit again Hospitality was on point!

First off, you need to understand why my review is a 5 star all around. Being from Hawai'i and eating and loving the foods from the island, I have been off island for almost 8 years now and tried many places that sell supposedly "Hawaiian Food". Hawaiian good food that the locals actually eat is this. Filipino food is a huge influence in the islands and this place was introduced to us by a local who knows her stuff. Side note, forget the ambiance, that's not why you come here. It's for the food and the food. Remember that So let's get down to the food. The food is authentically Filipino style and taste. Get the 3 combo meat and eggs. Corned beef, longanisa (sausage for those who don't know), and the classic lechon! It comes with garlic fried rice, order your eggs Sunny side. Now that it is out, bust that yolk up, mix in the vinegar fish sauce a bit with your spoon, then dip your meat of choice into the mang thomas sauce. It's brown if you don't know. Mix it up and if you like spice like me, and believe me you should try at least one bite. Their house spice sauce. Your welcome Aloha Fam

Combo 2 (three item) notice less of each item

I ordered the two item combo with lechon and lumpia. My husband ordered the three item combo with lechon, lumpia and longanisa. When they came, we were surprised that they gave less of each meat in the three combo. You just pay more for variety but you get less of everything. That was very misleading. I had 5 lumpia, he had 4. I had 13 pieces lechon, he had 7. He had 3 tiny thin pieces of longanisa. His combo is $4 more than mine. Combo 2 (three item) is definitely not worth paying more for an extra item but taking away some of the other two. The lechon is ok. Some pieces had tough and not crispy skin. The lumpia is good and they give you plenty of sauce. The longanisa is not flavorful and way too tiny.

Family-run breakfast/brunch joint - you feel like you're at home or in my case at a close friend's place. The dishes are exactly what you expect. The menu seems daunting at first with all the options, however, it is pretty simple. My recommendation is to order Combo #1 with the 2 meat options to sample. You MUST order a sans rival. Service was a bit on the slower end. I think it is due to the influx of new customers from new IG promotions. Our order: - Combo#1 - Lechon, Longanisa, Tapa, and Chopsilog. Lechon was cooked quite well, more crispy than preferred. Longanisa, I thought it was going to be redder colour, but I believe this is a family recipe. I would highly recommend the Chopsilog and Tapa and Lechon. - Matcha Pistachio Sans Rival - easily the best part of our meal. This cashew layered, buttercream, meringue covered pistachio cake was to die for. I would happily drive back to get another slice. The matcha is a little underwhelming - overpowered by all the other flavours. - Coffee - bottomless and perfect with the sans rival.

One of the many menus on their wall. Thought the red and white sign was funny!

The food was really good! We came in at around 1:15PM, and I ordered a combo 1 with longanisa, bangus and scrambled egg with tomato and onion for me and my daughter. My daughter loved the combo, especially the bangus (she wanted more after we were done)! The classic cashew sans rival was just the right amount of sweet and tasted like ice cream! Service was very friendly, Tita Dot and Janno were very friendly and helpful! The food came out quickly too! We will definitely come back when we visit Canada again!

    Filipino Breakfast Must!

Great Filipino Breakfast DO NOT MISS Though the food is typical Filipino, they are freshly cooked according to your preferences. The dried pusit is a must try. Not burnt but crunchy and tasty. The beef tapa is tender and tasty. Lechon kawali is great too. Dont forget to order Ube sans rival. The staff are so courteous and helpful. Coffee freshly brewed and strong. Refillable.

I've heard good things about Epic Grill Silogs and was I glad to drop by! We came for brunch on a Saturday and got lucky there was only one group ahead of us in the line. Service may be a bit slow, but the food is definitely worth the wait! Even though the food was 'combo' style, it seemed as if each item in my plate was prepared by the order. Staff were nice and quick to attend to our needs. They were also patient with our questions about the menu! The savoury tapa (beef jerky), smoky tinapa (smoked fish), chewy dried squid, and crispy dried biya, served together with friend egg and well-made garlic rice, make for a delightful meal! As a picky fried-egg eater, I appreciate that they are willing to cook the fried egg according to my preference. Authentic to taste, absolutely delicious! I look forward to going back here and trying out other items in the menu!

Awesome restaurant in New West for Filipino dishes, especially the popular silogs which are so delicious, as well as their desserts from ube and pandan flans to sansrival cake. Just a little hassle with parking as theirs limited parking space.

Top notch filipino food. If you're anywhere near Vancouver area, make the drive for this place! Service is good 'ol filipino high-level hospitality. Menu seems expansive, but truly simple and revolves around classic filipino bfast staples. I had the combo tapa and lechon, sobra sarap! I'm seattle-base, I'd rather drive up here than wait at jollibee lines! For Seattle folks, this is as good as the legendary Ludi's that you're missing in downtown Seattle.

Epic Combo 1 with Lechon (fried pork belly) and Fried Chicken Wings, with scrambled egg and garlic rice.

In need of a really EPIC breakfast for a morning pick-me-up or hangover cure? "Silogs" (a portmanteau of the Tagalog words for "rice" & "egg") are an amazingly hearty and satisfying Filipino breakfast combo where you can have your eggs cooked any way you want, a healthy serving of garlic fried rice, and the option to pick one, two, or even three dishes! At Epic Grill Silogs, they have a HUGE selection of meats you can choose from and combine together for one meal. Can't choose between spam & corned beef? Just get both! Craving their fried pork belly and chicken wings? Then it sounds like we'll get along really well! I have been coming here every once in a while whenever the inevitable silog cravings hit, or when Filipino food-loving visitors are in town...and they are always a huge hit! The interior is a low-key diner feel, which some retro, round & red stools by the front counter, and rusty orange tables & chairs. The only big critique is that their service has been consistently very sluggish. The service is always nice, and they check in enough times to let us know they didn't forget about us - however the turnaround time to get the silogs out have always needed a lot of work. As long as you're not in a huge rush, Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike will feel right at home here.

The food is always bomb. The service is pretty fast, there's always a line up so, you gotta wait for 20-30 minutes during weekends.

Getting a 5 pack is totally worth it. They reheat well in the air fryer and makes for a good snack at home. Can get loud and busy on weekends, so takeout is better then!

I usually get the flavored taiyaki here. Compared to traditional taiyaki, Little Pisces ones are chewier, sort of like fried mochi. The fillings are all very good and they're freshly made. They have a 5-piece combo deal where it comrs out to just a little over $3 per taiyaki. The supermarket right below sells 3 taiyakis (that are very good) for about $5 though, so Little Pisces is a bit expensive comparatively. The ice cream come with a taiyaki on top and is super cute. There's usually quite a long line to order and to get the food. Sometimes the line is out the door. Even after ordering, they give you a little buzzer thing that buzzes when your order is ready. This can take quite a long time if there's alot of people. While there is seating, it is limited and people tend to stay awhile, so don't depend on being able to eat inside. In the winter it kind of sucks as you have to exit to eat. I also came here for their hot chocolate festival drinks. The lines were insanely long. The hot chocolate was $12 each and not very big. While the flavors were unique, they weren't very good overall and took forever to wait for.
