Our Family had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant. Service and timing were absolutely good. Food was amazing as well.

A new favorite spot in Surrey when craving Filipino food. First time here and thank God I found this place. Delicious calamari! It probably has something to do with their batter. Their crispy is perfect!!! If I wasn't worried about my blood pressure, I would have ordered more . Siomai paired with soysauce and real calamansi - yum! Hope they will offer delivery soon!

We stopped by here for a late lunch. Unfortunately, they were out of adobo and halo halo. The two items we were looking forward to trying. We ended up ordering the pancit bihon with chicken and rice ($10) and the spaghetti and spring rolls ($9). I ordered a crispy ($9) to take home for dinner. Service was decent. We received water and menus promptly. We placed our order and food arrived shortly afterwards. The pancit bihon was good. There was noodles that had a good chew mixed in with veggies and pieces of meat. The piece of chicken was fried with a batter but I found the chicken was not as flavourful as I would have liked. There is seasoning and sauces on the side you can add to your food. The spaghetti had a very sweet meat sauce. The spring rolls contained a small amount of meat inside. The garlic bread was alright. Overall, food was alright. Pricing was good for the portion size. There is free street parking. The restaurant accepts credit card payment which is always a plus.

Went to Archie's on the weekend and ordered takeout. We ordered their BBQ with rice and Kare Kare (oxtail) with rice. Very friendly and accommodating staff and food was executed well. The inside of the restaurant was very basic, but if you're looking for good Filipino food that is well executed for good value, this is the place to go. I know that I will add this on the rotation of take out restaurants for me and my family.

I am glad that I found Archie's because this place is a little different from other Filipino restaurants as far as plating. They serve individual size plates instead of the large family style kind of plating. Several silog options which I don't really see too many other places offering. I find the pricing for food is very reasonable for the amount you get and quality. I got the opportunity to taste three of their different dishes. The bulalo soup was very good and had a very nice depth of flavor. The crispy pork belly is what it is, a very nice crunchy skin on the pork belly, which is what you would expect. The chicksilog is not your typical fried chicken you would get at other Filipino restaurants. The chicken is boneless and very juicy, with a nicely seasoned crust, and the crust was nice and crunchy as well. They really take the time and effort to build the flavoring in the soup, and season each dish well. I like that the kitchen is open and visible, so you can see the owner cooking your food as you order it so you know everything is fresh. The owners of this place are very friendly and inviting. I felt like I was pretty much getting served a nice home cooked meal. The service was great, they take the time to explain to you what each menu item is if you aren't familiar with this kind of food. I will be coming back here again for the food and I would recommend others to give this place a try.

The food was good. Pretty cheap. But the decorations and furniture was lacking. Customer service could use some imporvement.

The number of items are certainly more than the equally cheaper indian buffets in vancouver and burnaby. Manchow soup - no idea what that meant. It looked like the chicken manchurian but soup form. Green mango salad was just standard. Lightly dressed and tiny pieces of mango. It was just sitting in a container and not kept cold. Spring roll seemed hand made and not store bought which is a plug Crispy chili potatoes are fries coated with some seasoning. Flavor is not bad but they need to be fried better so much of them were soggy. Orange chicken tastewise is good. Again they need to fry it better. Some were crispy and some were soggy. Chicken manchurian was a dish I have never tasted before. I still don't know and can't describe what the flavor was. Fish hot garlic was not bad. I liked the flavor but again I wasn't sure what kind of flavor it was. Chili paneer had the same flavor as the chicken manchurian. Fried rice was fried well. Fried noodle was just ok. They came by and asked if we wanted naan. When it came it glistened with oil and had loads of garlic. Upon tasting it, it shockingly didn't have much garlic flavor. The texture of the naan was weird. Much thinner than I'm used to and not as chewy. Loads of parking as this is located in an outside mall. The decorations inside were super cool but very random.

It's not your typical ramen joint because looking at the menu, they have some other Asian dishes that are from different cultures. It's like a mish-mash of Asian flavours! We stuck to the ramen dishes since that's what we were after, and it was actually super delicious! Firstly, the bowls are bigger than usual ramen bowls from other Japanese joints, so you get a bit more. Your ramen comes with the basic meat/protein and a few add-ons. Optional toppings are available for $1.75 each. We ordered the miso tonkotsu and the spicy version. We LOVED it and thought it was super comparable to authentic ramen places in the lower mainland! Definitely come and try them out! The ambiance is super casual. Good for large groups as they have plenty of seating. Unassuming yet tasty. Only thing is that it's located in a part of Surrey where there's a lot of homeless folks roaming around the area. One even walked in and stopped by our table asking for money, but the owner was able to (nicely) shoo them away and apologized to us after. Apparently that guy wanders in from time to time, but there are usually cop cars in the area. We went on a Saturday night, so just beware of this in case you experience it too.

The bone soups are super delicious. We've tried several dishes from their menu and always left satisfied. Don't miss the burnt rice tea in the stone pot after your meal -- it really completes the experience! Wang Ga Ma is located in Hanin Village. While waiting for a table, we love grocery shopping at H-Mart nearby. This place might be well-known to Koreans, but it could be a hidden gem for others.
