    Grilled chicken crepe
    Valerie S.

I had been wanting to try Double Decker for a while, mainly so I could try one of their crepes, and i finally got my chance earlier this week. My parents were in town and we were trying to figure out where to go for a quick lunch before heading to Trader Joe's for some shopping - and voila - a light bulb went off in my head and we made a beeline for Double Decker. The service was great and we all enjoyed our lunch. My mom had a wrap and my step-dad had a hoagie, and I finally got to try a crepe. I ordered the first one on the menu - the grilled chicken crepe - but customized it a little. It was really good and I liked the crepe part of it - it was a bit thicker than previous crepes I've had. When I told my oldest daughter about it, she insisted that I go back soon to try their inside outs. They caught my eye when I was looking at the menu, so I think I will be dragging my husband there as soon as I can. Overall, I'm glad I finally got around to trying Double Decker.

    Large pepperoni pizza

I ordered from double decker pizza last night and have eaten a few ISOP's from there before- I wish I had stuck with what I knew was good before ordering anything else. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and cheese fries through door dash. The food arrived quickly, still hot, and the fries were still crispy and delicious. The cheese with the fries however, was not even warm and was very clumpy- kind of like it was the bottom of the cheese container. The pizza sauce was one of the better sauces I've tasted from local pizza shops but I knew this beforehand since I've always ordered the ISOP's but this pizza crust tasted beyond stale. The strange thing was it wasn't overdone, it almost looked like it was a microwaved pizza crust or something. It's hard to describe but all I know is it was not good. I'll never order a pizza from double decker again but I'll definitely return for more of the ISOP's !

Inside outs are the best. Cool place too. And they sell beer! Fast, clean and nice employees.

Clean, reasonably priced, friendly service. Standard Pizza Shop/Hoagie Shop menu. Have been there about 2 times. Will go back many more.

Tasty pizza, friendly staff. They've always been great checking labels for my daughter with food allergies.

The bar has a good mix of sports being broadcast on TVs. I could watch live hockey, basketball and baseball easily. It's a solid place to grab some comfort food and drinks. The fish & chips plate is respectable; has 3 good-sized fillets with a nice rémoulade sauce. I found the caesar salad to be decent and when requested that dressing and cheese come on the side, it was no problem. The famous kennett square mushroom soup is too intense. Strong portobello mushrooms dominate and concentrated truffle oil only increases this, doesn't offer any counterbalance. Staffers are friendly.

The only thing that really WOWED me was the butter that came with the croissant. I can eat that whole thing by itself. Very creamy with a hint of zest. Yum! As far as the croissants was concerned, some tasted like it was stale. The pork schnitzel (4/5) entrée was pretty good. I didn't care for the sausage and gravy topping though. Would've been better without it. Anyway, the mashed potatoes were creamy, buttery, and airy. The greens were garlicky and kind of salty. Grilled chicken Caesar (2.5/5) salad was okay. The dressing lacked in a lot of ways. More citrusy and less saltiness from anchovies. The mushroom bisque was a little grainy. Would I care for coming back? Maybe. Not anytime soon though.

Great flavor & creative plating. Pricey, like everything else on the menu. ***It cost $15 for a Paper Plane in a rocks glass. 2.25oz of alcohol for $15, served incorrectly, kinda stung. The average cost of a cocktail from the menu was around $18, so I guess I made out like a bandit. ****Another classy, imaginative interior marred by a neon sign. The rest of Two Fourteen was beautiful & sultry. The neon sign had a cheapening effect. I felt almost mocked by the bright pink sign that spelt out "good vibes only." Again, I think the prices are making me a bit resentful. I can admit to that. I don't think I'd return to Two Fourteen again if I was in the area, but can see the appeal if I lived in Media.
