It is accessible by MTA NYC Transit A train at 80th Street subway station followed by a reasonable walk. It is located on a triangle corner of 81st Street and Rockaway Boulevard. I selected Enzo's due to the proximately where I reside and the good reviews. What was a scheduled vacation day turned into a working half day - voluntarily by my choice. There were no maître d' to greet guest patrons at the hostess desk upon arrival. Amir A. was doing it all as host, waiter, bus boy, cashier, and (I believe) cook. The brick oven is visible for an open kitchen. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Enzo's do not have a formal printed menu. Their drink menu is placed in plastic sheet protector. There are no business cards available. Bill payment is distributed on a nuisance handheld device where card holder signature is chicken scratch depicting not the true handwriting. There is a undisclosed standard mandatory credit card surcharge 3.00% affixed to the bill upon payment which is utterly frivolous. The handheld device contains suggested gratuity of intervals of 18%, 20% or 25% where patrons do not have to perform math calculation which disappears and I did not have anything to reference. I usually pay the gratuity in cash. My bill totaled $34.71 which was very reasonable for my characteristic penchant, I am a solo diner. I did received my printed sales receipt. Complimentary bread was served piping hot and fresh with butter in a basket. I actually consumed all the bread. Restroom facility is available and relatively clean. Upon my return from using the facility, I was very grateful that my wine glass is still on the table lying in wait for me to finish. Thank you Amir A. for not removing to discard it! Every drop counts as I am willing to pay my bill. He inquired if I would like a second wine glass which I politely declined. Enzo's was subtly decorated for autumn with mini pumpkins placed at each table. Build your own pasta which is à la carte pricing. Linguini with red tomato sauce $14.95, sausage protein $7.00. The tomato sauce was light and very enjoyable. I always have a predilection for red tomato sauce in my pasta entrées as it is lighter, looser, and lower in fat content. Condiments of oregano, Parmesan cheese are provided for self-serve. I sprinkled my entrée with Parmesan cheese and oregano. The sausage hold substance. The sausage was not Italian sausage as it was not sweet. It was a good portion and not large, but sufficient to satisfy my hunger pangs. I consumed the entire entrée. I had inadvertently skipped breakfast earlier in the day. After sifting through negative reviews of pizza, oh my stars! I must be forthcoming - evade the pizza at Enzo's, come for the pasta, entrées or appetizers. I would surely return for Sangria. Giuliano Rosati, Chianti DOCG (red), Tuscany, Italy $9.00 This wine is lively offers enticing aromas of bright red cherry, cracked black pepper, and savory Italian herbs made from Sangiovese grapes. It is a good medium-bodied red wine. It tasted earthy containing red cherries, dark berries with subtle hint of violet. I have a high predilection for Chianti Classico which contains the coveted iconic Black Rooster (Gallo Nero) bottle neck seal. Came here looking for a solid sit-down pizza spot and ended up building the customizable 12" pie. Went with pineapple, onion, mushroom, and grilled chicken -- not your typical combo, but it worked really well. Pizza itself was actually really good. Crust had that nice crisp on the bottom, but still soft enough to fold, which is exactly what you want in a NYC slice. Sauce was on the lighter side flavor-wise -- not bad, just not super standout -- but the toppings carried it. Chicken was solid and everything tasted fresh. I placed a takeout order today Jan/19/24. "I do think this is the third or 4th time I have ordered from here since 2020*" and I have no words to describe how satisfied I am with my orders. I went to pick it up myself. The place looks cute and charming. I have to go and enjoy the experience of eating in there. I ordered the Pasta Penne & Vodka with grilled chicken and it was so good I also ordered the Mussels with Marinara Sauce and it was delicious as always. Everything was yummy, the portions were huge, you literally get what you pay for, and more. I don't get the bad reviews I haven't had a bad experience with this restaurant, they are just amazing. Thank you for such a portion of good food, and for caring about the orders. Everything was well-packed. Place has really fallen of lately, The last two orders I placed I received wrong ! The first time they sent me a grilled chicken Cesar wrap without chicken. I call them they apologize and send a replacement. No issue things happen. Today I order a cheese pizzeta with no tomato sauce they sent It with sauce. I call them to get a replacement and to let them know this is the 2nd consecutive order I received incorrect having to wait twice as long for my food. The issue isn't with the people taking the order It seems to me that the cook has a very hard time listening to instructions. I placed my order today at 5:40 and didn't receive the replacement pizza until 8:00. Not sure what's happening over at Enzo's but the love is no longer in the food. read more

Staff is all friendly. The only two people I allow to make my drinks is the owner or Chris. I love that I can go in use my discount points on my bulk orders or when I order a pie. Comes in handy. Or times I'll get my order free and use my and tip the ladies big. It's a win for everyone. The Cesar salad pizza is my favorite of slices. Pies my house loves the Meat Lovers. Sandwiches I like to eat the chicken parmigiana. Appetizers I like to eat the Enzo and Philly steak egg roll looking things. I love sitting outside to eat. Thursday is cigar night so I try not to go those nights but most people love it. Sometimes they have a live band when do private parties. It's nice to listen too. The number of reviews is surprising, I had been told that Enzos was still in soft opening status and it had elements that suggested such. Not the interior -- no, the interior was very completed and very well appointed with three pretty Tv's playing NEWS 12 broadcasting very sad information of stabbings and drownings and fires. So I looked away to the crown molding, drop ceiling and listened to the pretty little 80s ditties coming thru the BOSE cubes with clarity. My pepperoni slice was served too hot. One said "Cheap cheese stretches better that way, beware when it cools, cheese and toppings slide off the crust". And then it happened. I heard later my pepperoni slice was heated by the owner and he was a total gentleman and to give him less than the best troubles me, but I must be forthcoming. At $3.80, it was not worth it. I returned for a bacon cheddar pinwheel and was gruffly greeted by a hard looking man who came across as rather wound up. Then my friend arrived and the intense fellow, I dare say, barked a waddya-gunna-ave? My friend explained he was with me and I asked if the $4.00 disk could be cut into two and that felt also slightly uncomfortable and I'm not sure why. read more

I've had a few different slices from Enzo's. The pepperoni slice, the Sicilian slice, the Philly Cheesesteak slice, the plain slice, the grandma slice, to name a few. All in all, pretty good stuff. Probably one of the better pizza places in the Ozone Park/Woodhaven area. The crust is probably the best in the area I would say. I'd recommend giving Enzo's a try. read more

I used to frequent this establishment weekly, until today. I always ordered a grilled chicken cesar salad, with dressing on the side. Today I received a salad inundated with dressing. It was completely unpalatable. When I called to address the situation I was told to have patience and understanding as they were busy that day. Mark told me the owner would call me back, but I never received a call. I walked into the establishment with my order and asked to speak to the manager. Before I was able to explain the issue, the owner started screaming at me, asking me what MY problem was and that I didnt need to come in like this!! I was floored. I merely explained that the salad was not what I ordered. He was obviously bothered by my presence. Instead of apologizing and trying to make it right, he treated me as if I wasn't a paying customer. As a last resort he said " What do you want, we will make you another salad, " in a very loud and unprofessional tone. At this point I didn't trust them to make me anything to eat and requested a refund. The owner immediately stormed away, mumbling under his breath. I wouldn't give this place any of your business. They do not appreciate or respect their customers. I also feel that this was racially motivated, as I was treated very rudely and was chastised for their mistake. Today I ordered delivery for the very first time and it took them ONE HOUR to come even though I live 3 minutes away. Upon receiving my order, I was really disappointed with the soggy calamari & they were the size of pennies!!! The pizza looked so beautiful but after taking the first bite, I knew it wasn't gonna be good. It felt like I was chewing on rubber bands with cheese. All the cheese also slid right off. Best calamari Ive had in a long time! So fresh and crispy and paired with the perfect marinara sauce. If you were to drive by this place fast enough, you'd might miss it. It's very unassuming at first but you're happily surprised when you walk in and find a nicely lit dining room with several booths and chairs. Most patrons walk in just to order a slice at the counter but we had a full blown dinner here and it was excellent. The calamari stole the show but the other items we ordered including Caesar salad, garlic bread with baked mozzarella, wings & a chicken roll were all delicious as well. Great food!
