She came back and told us it was because of a leak, but they couldn't remember the inspection score. That answer didn't completely sit well with me, so you know what happened next... I started digging. The last time I visited, they had an A, so seeing "Grade Pending" definitely caught my attention. When I looked into the restaurant's inspection history, I couldn't find the specific reason for the current pending grade, but I did see that an earlier inspection in May 2025 resulted in a B. I understand that even a restaurant with an A can have violations or issues, and a pending grade doesn't automatically tell you what the problem is. But when I'm eating somewhere, I definitely want to know what's going on. Our server was super sweet and reassuring, and the restaurant had plenty of customers dining there. The restroom was also extremely clean, so I'm hoping that same level of cleanliness carries into the kitchen. And trust me--I'll be driving by next week to see what letter is in that window!
