Enzo Custom is honestly a gem. I've checked out a lot of places in New York for custom clothing, like suitsupply and indochino, but nothing compares to the experience I had here. Whether it's a custom suit, custom tuxedo, or custom shirt, everything is made specifically for you. You can feel the difference the moment you put it on. What I really appreciated was how personal the process felt. Every appointment I had I met one on one with a clothier with no interuption. They never tried to sell me and always made me feel comfortable. They took the time to really get to know what I wanted, explained all the fabric and style options without rushing me, and made sure every little detail was perfect. You can tell they genuinely care about the fit and the look, but also about making sure you feel good wearing it. The value here is second to none. I have custom garments from some of the most expensive shops in the city and I would put Enzo on par with any of them. I started with a custom suit. Wanted to get a few garments but appreciated how they said to wait until I was more comfortable. My custom suit came in (takes around a month) and needed some minor alterations. I had a fantastic experience at Midtown with Rachel, who measured me for a black tux for my wedding. She walked through fabrics, cuts, and customization and delivered a perfect fitting tux in just a few weeks. I've used MTM services before (like Indochino and Proper Cloth) but the fit and cut of this tux was far, far better than all of my previous suits. I also decided last minute to buy a linen suit and Rachel was able to rush-order it just in time for my wedding weekend. I only ever bought off the rack suits and as a groomsman I have only ever worn the typical suit rental company selected by the couple to be. My wife and I decided on a destination wedding and a honeymoon to follow. Using the typical rental companies would be fairly expensive so I decided I would purchase a custom tux. I spent days reviewing providers and Enzo's custom in midtown stood out. After reading many of the reviews I decided I wanted to work with Jeremy. Going into this I did not realize how many decisions were required to create a custom suit. It can be very overwhelming. Jeremy never made me feel uncomfortable with my custom tux/suit ignorance. He was very patient, attentive and helped me through the entire process. He even dealt with a million questions from my wife when she tagged along on a couple visits. He handled everything with grace. I had such a wonderful experience that I decided to purchase a custom suit as well. The quality, look and feel of the tuxedo was tremendous. If you're looking for a great quality suit with great service to go with it, I would recommend Enzo Custom. Came in for a suit jacket, which involved getting measured up, and a few weeks later, a jacket was in hand. Came in for the follow-up session when I was informed the jacket had arrived, and they reviewed the fit and decided to make some minor adjustments. After the session they sent it off to their tailor to make the final alterations. Only took about 4 to 5 weeks from start to finish for a great quality product! I had an excellent fitting with the clothier named Bomey for a jacket that I needed to get for work. I explained that I my job requires me to wear a blazer and that I usually pair it with chinos. Places like Men's Wearhouse usually feel so rigid to me, makes me feel uncomfortable about my awkward proportions that still don't fit well, and to spend over $300 for a rental always feels like I'm throwing money away. Bomey and I hit it off right away and she could tell that I liked a conservative look with a little bit of flair. She recommended different fabrics to me, told me about how it holds up, and recommended some different ways to style it up or down. I wanted to get kissing buttons, because that is the hallmark of a custom suit. She helped me pick out something that would go well, and recommended that I get silver stitching to go with the blue/black material that I picked with the jacket. She did a great job at taking my measurements, but most of all made me feel comfortable and talked me through the process. I am REALLY indecisive, and her suggestions were great. I even got my initials embroidered and went with a wild color for the jacket lining. Customer service was 10/10. Definitely recommend. Updating my review based on Enzo's service post our review. As you can see previously, they messed up out wedding suit without a sincere apology. Even post the review, the customer service didnt reach out to me. It was only after my husband's review they reached out. I can nit pick it but thats water under the bridge. After some back and forth, they offered him a whole new suit (same loro piana fabric as we had chosen before). The CEO- Eli even stayed back to apologize to him in person which was very thoughtful. My husband's suit was a bit over budget but the assistant manager Bomey took great care of him. Overall we are very happy customers again. Would be back in the future :) read more

I shopped around, researched Reddit boards and other forums and although people didn't talk about Enzo as much as i would expect, the reviews and posts about Enzo felt truly honest and not just some shills pumping some of the other brands up. From the location to the service, Enzo custom feels a lot more relaxing than the storefront types I visited. No trying on suits as customers walk by or walk into the showrooms. Each employee has their own spacious area to discuss every little detail of your order. Jeremy expertly guided me through the process. He knew how to listen for what I wanted, to help find the style of tuxedo that I was looking for while taking into consideration all of my concerns. He gave me just enough encouragement when I was feeling unsure about some of the more custom details. When i walked out of that first appointment, I felt so much more relaxed knowing confidently that when my tuxedo arrived, that I would love it. And i did. the best tux/suit experience ever came here to get a tux and a suit and was blown away by the experience. the initial visit was a consultation where they show you the designs and fabrics. there was actually a ton of options and modes of customization but they were helpful about guiding you with suggestions if you are unsure. my tux and suit arrived 3 weeks later and I was so impressed on how great it looked. very high quality and actually fit pretty well. they further tailored my garments down to all the small details and a week later, I got the final product. really happy with it. my first tux and the best suit I have ever gotten. will def be coming here in the future for my future clothing needs PSA: it takes about a 3 weeks to get your suit/tux (and longer if you go for the more specialized materials/designs or if it around the holiday time) so be sure to plan ahead! read more

I walked in looking to buy one custom suit. I worked with Rachel Hamel who showed me how easy the process was once my measurements were taken. I started with 2 custom suits and 6 custom shirts. As I went for fittings, I found I loved the suits and shirts so much that I ended with 4 suits and 8 shirts. Rachel quickly understood my style preferences and provided excellent recommendations. I took my fiance here twice; 1st time was X-Mas 2018 and I got him a custom suit as a x-mas present. My fiance loves to lift weights so his body is not proportional with his upper body super wide, his waist super tiny, and his thighs super thick. Any time he'd buy a suit off the rack, it would not fit correctly! The custom suit came with a blazer, suit pants, dress shirt, and tie. The clothier we worked with was Richard Lee and he was super knowledgable. I had fun picking out the fabrics for each item and the fact that we get to customize it was special; we got my fiance's name embroidered on the suit jacket and dress shirt. The suit came back in 2 weeks and we went in for a fitting-- the suit looked great on my fiance! We've been wearing it to all the weddings in 2019 and he's gotten a lot of compliments. For x-mas 2020, I decided to get my fiance a couple more dress shirts to go with the suit. We used the same measurement from a year ago and when I brought my fiance in for the fitting, the shirts fit like a glove! Again, great service and the quality is amazing. Side note: I work in the fashion industry and have extensive knowledge with making of a garment. The quality that Enzo provides is worth every penny! read more

The. Best. I'm writing this now having just had another suit made elsewhere and feeling a huge pang of regret. I wish I had gone back to Enzo. Arthur made my wedding suit with a number of very specific and non-standard request (like a standing mandarin collar on the jacket). They nailed it. Every detail is perfect and Arthur was able to tweak little things I never would have thought of (like letting the left sleeve out very slightly to accommodate a watch). I've never received so many compliments on a piece of clothing. It's not cheap, but now seeing the price tag on lower tier shops the difference is not really that much-maybe 10% when all is said and done. If you're going to go for a custom suit, do it right and go here. I'm never going anywhere else. read more

Hello all - I am here to provide an update. Initially, Enzo messed up very badly. I am happy to report that they have made things right. The most meaningful thing was that Eli, the CEO, apologized in person. The suit and shirt are great, and I even appreciate they let me pick exactly what I wanted rather than nitpick about a budget. However, it was a sincere apology that really made all the difference to me. I am so happy to become a returning customer again, as they have been making my suits for years (ever since they first opened shop and offered the 3 suits 3 shirts package for like $600 to get their first clients in the door!) read more

Enzo custom is a fabulous store. They make custom suits and tuxedos that are very stylish, and importantly, that are custom fit. And on top of that, their prices (at least for the tuxedo I bought) are cheaper than at the major dept stores. Plus you work one-on-one with a designer. I worked with Rachel, for whom I cannot say enough great things. This was my first tuxedo, and while the number of choices in terms of designs was fantastic, it was daunting. But Rachel was tremendous--she has a keen sense for style, and very patiently walked me through each decision, while helping me when it was difficult to decide. Rachel was extremely meticulous in the innumerable measurements, and was exceedingly careful in making adjustments in designing the coat, waistcoat, and trousers to fit me perfectly. She even tried on samples to refine he measurements. Once my tuxedo comes back she will make further refinements and even check those when the alterations come back. On top of that, she's a real pleasure to work with. What more could you ask for? I'll be coming back in the future and asking for Rachel next time I need a suit or other nice clothes! read more
