Envision remodeled our bathroom, about 5 years ago.. They say they're permanently closed, so if we have issues with hardware and cabinets, where do we get issues resolved? We entrusted Envision Kitchen and Bath to design a kitchen for our 160-year-old Stone House that we have poured our heart and souls into renovating. The kitchen is the focal point, giving the house its inside character. Needless to say, we were very selective in deciding on a contractor that would listen to us and deliver a quality product. The owners of Envision, Doug and Pam, and kitchen designer, Crystal, were very personable, knowledgeable, detail oriented and realistic - helping us to weigh the trade-offs and keep costs within our budget. We were extremely focused on craftsmanship and, having been completely satisfied with our previous Conestoga kitchen, we were pleasantly surprised and pleased that they carried this brand. The design process went smoothly and efficiently, with Doug coming out to the house and taking detailed measurements and then the group working with us to figure out the optimal design. We were impressed as they valued our opinions and considered everything we threw at them with patience and thought. They were able to mix that with their experience and skill to deliver top quality kitchen in a very reasonable time. We appreciated their extreme professionalism, efficiency and thoroughness with no short cuts and no high-pressure sales. As we walked through the process piece by piece, they were able to come up with a design that satisfied every aspect that we had asked and have it delivered on schedule! This was by far the best experience we have ever had with any contractor. They met all our expectation and more! Very happy with every step of the remodeling process in our kitchen. Deanna was able to put together a new design that was exactly what we wanted, and ended up being something we hadn't even considered, but we love it! Picking out colors and materials was very easy and they let us take samples of everything home to see how it would all look on the property. Envision definitely made us feel more taken care of than the local chain/big box store that we went to first, and the contractor they referred to us is a superstar. Deanna their designer did a great job with the layout and look of the kitchen. Now that we have the cabinets installed they look nice but the quality is not worth what we paid. Working with Doug was difficult, he did not return calls or emails in a timely manor. One of their big selling points is that they build the cabinets and deliver them, they were 2 and 1/2 hours late with the delivery and I had to repair 4 of the cabinets before installing them. I could add a lot more but lets just say that I don't recommend Envision. read more

My kitchen is completely transformed after Envision design which also involved lighting, entertainment system, and the removal of a wall. I work from home so was present during install. Not only did we laugh for the weeks while they were here, the process was painless compared to 7 other remodels I've done with other companies. The quality of the cabinets is spot on- it's been over two years and they still sparkle new. No issues. Doug also assisted with several appliance decisions which helped take the load off my brain. I took care of the tile installation myself through a tile company that was local but when the contractor messed it up, Doug dealt with it and instructed him how to come back and fix it even when it wasn't his contractor. My family hired Doug Washburn from Envision Kitchen and Bath to completely renovate our kitchen. The process started with planning and measurements. From there, we were able to 3D design and view everything we wanted from where the appliances were, to the types of cabinets and drawers, and the wall that we removed. The planning process was an amazing process. There was no guessing how something would look. We knew in advance from the software that they utilize. From a materials selection process, I found Doug and team to be extremely helpful in selecting all the types of appliances, countertops, knobs, cabinets, sinks, faucets, and many other things. We have no regrets from any of the selections. Doug and his team helped us and advised us through every step. There was a time when we wanted to go a different path with a few of the selections such as Granite versus Quartz for the countertops. Honestly, I'm very thankful for Doug's advise because Cambria Quartz is AMAZING to say the least from the perspective of the quality of the product, the measurement process, the curves and corners, and the installation. It's pretty incredible. Also, Doug advised us on the flooring, which was pretty different from our initial thoughts. In the end, we went with a luxury vinyl product that no one can believe is really vinyl. There is no grout and the product is warm and nice on your feet and very easy to clean. The cabinets Doug recommended are very nice. They each have pistons, which prevent the doors from slamming. They are a high quality product for sure. In addition to the major selection items (appliances, counter, cabinets), there were many other selections like faucets, backsplash, knobs, windows, lighting, molding, and lots of others. It's endless actually. Doug and his team simplified the process and gave us great recommendations. There is not ONE THING that we would change about our kitchen. Doug and his team were very professional. We hired him before this for working on our windows and also after for some other jobs. My kids love him and his guys. The workers were VERY professional and we actually missed them when they left. They were always patient with the children and very kind to my family. I was also impressed that he brought in true trade people for the electric and plumbing versus standard normal folks trying to do the specialized work. All in all, I highly recommend Envision for any upgrade. Even if the price was quoted at more than another contractor, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Doug and Envision because of how happy we are with the kitchen. read more
