It was a fairly simple project - replace an existing old blacktop driveway with concrete. They were a nightmare to work with. Signed a contract with them in April 2014 and was told it would be about a month until they could start. They didn't actually pour the concrete until the first week of October. There is an inch difference between the driveway and sidewalk so I have a trip hazard and they say that is normal. Now, May 2015 the driveway has 2 large cracks forming and they refuse to do anything about it. Concrete driveways should last at least 30 years.... the one that Direnzo Brothers installed at my house isn't a year old and looks worse then the blacktop driveway they replaced. Worst part is there attitude and don't give a damn about you once they have your money.

One company came out and gave a bid to replace the skylight but was hesitant to attempt to stop the immediate leak before the skylight replacement project was signed for. When I called Rost Construction, Jakob answered the call and started asking me fact finding questions about the roof and the skylight. He agreed to send out one of his staff the next day. Jack from Rost Construction went up to the skylight and found an old nail embedded in the skylight flashing. He was able to repair that area and stop the leaking. I feel that Rost Construction operates with high levels of expertise and integrity.

FIVE STARS…read more I hired Peter to do some extensive work on my Cabin in the Western Catskills (Near Walton NY) and from the our initial conversations it was crystal that this man was really smart, a problem solver, creative and really knowledgeable about all things contracting. He attentively listened to my vision for creating a cabin that fused simple minimalism with modern appeals and amenities. He asked many questions and then set out to execute that vision with elevation by elevation brainstorm sessions. Once I knew that we were on the same page with respect to the vision for the cabin then Peter brought in his crew to make it happen. They went through this place like a contracting tsunami, working diligently everyday to get the job done. The project began with prepping for the buildings power wash which meant removing many items from the building that the previous owner had installed like satellite dishes, decorative animals and planters. After that was done Peter did a beautiful job of power washing the exterior during a serious rainstorm. He was like a machine!!! I have never seen anything like it before. It was 58 degrees outside (chilly) and torrentially raining while he did the job which took all day but he did not stop until he was satisfied with the quality of his work. After it all, it is clear that he holds himself and the quality of his work to the highest standards possible. He also shared his ideas for various aspects and stages of the project development that made the original vision even better than originally planned. For example, we were looking to add a splash of color around that house and had settled on a red front door but with Peter's input we changed course and painted parts of the porch red instead. That pivot mades the front of the house look fantastic and modern like Louboutin Shoes!!! Peter is a mastermind and I could go on and on about how great of a job that he did on our cabin but I'll let the photos do all the talking. I would like to also say that Finish Line Contractors were extremely responsive to my calls, scheduling, and were incredibly reliable. They were also so trustworthy that we gave him access to the house even when we weren't onsite so that he could get the work done on time. In the end, I feel very fortunate to have Finish Line Contractors do my renovation. They made the final result better than the original vision. I plan to use them for another build in the spring because the initial experience was so great.
