My 40 plus year old drain field distribution lines (which are about 100' each had become (in…read moreseveral areas) plugged solid with roots, causing wastewater to start backing up and overflowing the septic tank. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and work ethic they displayed as it took approximately twice as long as was expected. They just kept at it until all three lines were completely cleared and running clear. Sean was the lead on this group. I thought the final cost was very reasonable considering they and a two man crew from Goeble worked for nearly 4 hours on what was originally estimated to take a little over half that time.

If you had asked me BEFORE what I thought of plumbers or the plumbing business,…read moreI would have said that it is a parasitical business that should be regulated by the government because of the overwhelming tendency to fraud. So I was nervous when I needed a plumber. But they worked fast, as if they were trying to get the job done as quickly as possible to keep the bill down. They could have dragged their heals a little bit to puff up the bill, but they didn't. Given that this isn't a business that can benefit from repeat business from loyal customers, it is honesty for honesty's sake.

We recently had our septic alarm go off and called Economy Septic after being frustrated with the…read morecompany we had used for years, AAdvanced Septic. I'm extremely glad we did. Mike came out and quickly determined that the problem was with the plastic zip ties securing our septic floats. He replaced the plastic ties with metal ones so we shouldn't have the same problem again. What impressed me most was how Mike handled the entire situation. He has over 20 years of experience, was extremely knowledgeable, professional and straightforward, and took the time to explain what was happening rather than trying to turn a relatively simple problem into an expensive service call. And then came the biggest surprise: Economy Septic charged us nothing for the visit or the repair. That kind of service is increasingly difficult to find. They could easily have charged us a service-call fee, and we would have expected to pay it. Instead, Mike simply identified the problem, fixed it properly and took care of us. Economy Septic is a family-run business, and our experience reflected exactly what you hope to get from a local company--knowledge, experience, professionalism, fairness and integrity. After this experience, Economy Septic will be the company we call for our septic needs going forward. I would highly recommend Mike and Economy Septic to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy septic company.
