A major underground leak outside my house was reported. Chehalis Plumbing's solution and work to…read morerepair the the problem created multiple new problems. On May 25, Chehalis Plumbing dug a new trench from the water main box to the side of house and laid a plastic pipe to the house. The plumber then reported that he broke a piece of old pipe when he was attempting to attach the new line to the house. This necessitated the removal of kitchen sink plumbing and disconnecting the pipe leading to a spigot in the backyard. The removed pipes were not related the leak. The house was without water overnight. The plumber returned the next morning to get water flowing again. He left his card and stated he would return on May 29 to complete the job and reattach water to the back yard. He did not return. I contacted the Chehalis Plumbing office and spoke to someone who informed me that the job was done. I insisted that the job was not complete and I informed him that there was still a leak. He asked for my number and said he would contact the owner to discuss the recommendation that the house be repiped. After Completion of Job Summary: 1. Hot and cold faucets in kitchen sink were reversed. 2. Water pressure to the hot faucet is seriously reduced and hot water no longer flows to the kitchen sink. 3. The backyard spigot was disconnected. 4. Siding was removed from the house and not replaced. 5. Crawl space access to underneath the house was disassembled and not restored. 6. An excavated area remains an open pit. 7. A plumber's tool and several pieces of the original kitchen sink plumbing remain discarded in the open pit. 8. Water has been steadily leaking from the plumber's repair ever since he left.

I think I will. I'm happy that any of our locals business' are busy. But be courteous, call me and let me know ahead of time so I'm not hanging around, taking a day off work waiting on someone who's not coming. That's just plain rude. I had a leak in the line going to one of my B and Bs. And needed it fixed. I'm a full time caretaker now and can't leave my house for long. Bye the time there sales man came the water was terned off. found the leak exposed the line. Called at 1:00 Plummer was not out tell 5. Worked done 6:30. Thats just shy of 5000.00 for 4 foot of pole line 2 clamps. 2 barbs. Brake down of price was 450.00 for parts. For 20.00 in parts. That's a 2150% mark up 500.00 for equipment. Truck, shovel,shop vac. 2 tools. 3500.00 laber.... Plummer was boots on the ground for 1 1/2 hr. With drive time 3 hr. I do know that bid was for 5 ft of ground work. Any more would have add to the price. Had there been any more brakes in the line. Talked to manger just so you know there average cost is 1000.00 an hr. Plus tax equipment and parts. Also the plummer told my b and b guest that the filters where dirty is why the water was discolered resolting in a reimbursement for there stay. The water is discolered any time you turn water off on a well. Most times clears in 24 hr. Just wont to put this out there so some ones grandma dose not get fleeced bye this company. If you call around this should have been in the 1000.00 range.... even the sales man when talking to the Plummer was saying it was supper easy job. No rocks or roots. Already know where the leak is. Well, Tom has a new license but has disconnected his two phone numbers and I've sent registered and return receipt letters to his addresses and they have been returned by the PO. He could be nice then turn and be rude. He refused to give a signed contract but did give a receipt that I thought would be binding. Before we hired him and Brian I made sure he had a bond and license. He kept saying I was just supposed to trust him. They did the work and the tankless works fine but when I did a call back on an issue I left several messages and when I didn't get a response I called Navien. When he finally came he kept saying to call him not the company and I told him that I did. Brian was supposed to take over the business but there is no way of getting ahold of either of them. Beware of any business that won't give you a signed contract up front and says just trust me. He was good...until he wasn't.

It was bumped up against a copper wire and literally melting. He quickly repaired that, explaining as he went along.
