Save yourself time and call Quail Electric first. Seriously. I spent and enormous amount of time…read moreemailing and making phone calls trying to find anyone to help me, and Mike with Quail was the ONLY one who offered to come out that day to restore electricity to my well. We opted to wait until the next day, for day light. Mike and team came out the next morning, during the time they said they'd arrive, gave a courtesy 10 mins out fyi text. Ran a temporary line to my pump house and even generously took the time to unfreeze my water pipes before the busted. Oh my! That could have been a whole other headache. Mike and I scheduled a time for him to come back out to run a permanent line to the pump house. He emailed a bid that included a few options for our outdated pump house that we had talked about. I appreciated his opinions, expertise, communication skills and honesty. When Mike and team from Quail returned a few weeks out, he gave the same 10 minutes out from arrival courtesy text. That was much appreciated. When they arrived they busted a move. The trench was dug, the new panel was put into place. He double checked his work and made sure the well pressure tank had emptied and fired up to refill. To top off their efficient and quality work, when I paid my bill it was under the bid he has quoted via email. I was shocked, there is still honest people out there!! He could have easily charged me the bid and left. I will use Quail Electric again and have his information saved in my phone... and his cool sticker on my electric panel.

He also stated that if we didn't go with his quote, we would be charged an $80 "diagnosis" fee. We agreed. He came out days later and spent about one minute looking at the hardware I had already purchased. He immediately said the only option was to cut a huge hole in the drywall and quoted me $1,200. It didn't sound right, so I kept asking questions. Suddenly, he came up with other solutions that would work -- such as buying new trim pieces or getting a mixing valve with a larger trim cover. At that point, I no longer trusted him. He was also very unfriendly. In the end, we were out $80 for a visit where he essentially did nothing. He knew exactly what we wanted done from the beginning but still insisted on coming out and trying to overcharge for the job. Do not use this company.

I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and work ethic they displayed as it took approximately twice as long as was expected. They just kept at it until all three lines were completely cleared and running clear. Sean was the lead on this group. I thought the final cost was very reasonable considering they and a two man crew from Goeble worked for nearly 4 hours on what was originally estimated to take a little over half that time.

A great surprise. If you had asked me BEFORE what I thought of plumbers or the plumbing business,…read moreI would have said that it is a parasitical business that should be regulated by the government because of the overwhelming tendency to fraud. So I was nervous when I needed a plumber. But they worked fast, as if they were trying to get the job done as quickly as possible to keep the bill down. They could have dragged their heals a little bit to puff up the bill, but they didn't. Given that this isn't a business that can benefit from repeat business from loyal customers, it is honesty for honesty's sake.
