He was overloaded due to the sheer volume of homes needing abatement at that time, but he always responded and did an incredible job. We had a few project teams (led by Luis and Carlos) that came out and all were fantastic - super meticulous, hardworking, professional, and polite. They also wore proper PPE and followed all safety protocols despite it being 90+ degrees out. The best part of all - our house passed clearance - we tested the floor and windowsill of every room and the outside even. But I had to go with the restoration company I had already signed a contract with because they had already performed some services for me. If had had to pay them off it would have cost a lot of money. So it was cheaper have them finish the job for a package price. JRN was professional, and offered good advice on how to reduce repair costs. They are certified for asbestos and mold remediation. The lesson I learned is always find out the cost of a service before it's performed, even if you think insurance will pay for everything. In my case I did not have enough insurance coverage.

I always said I'd bring them back for the next phase of the project--life just moved slowly, and here we are almost a decade later. I reached out again recently, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't the same. It took about three days to get a call back, which I didn't mind because of the excellent service I'd had in the past. The rep came out, I showed him the areas I needed removed, and we had a good conversation. He gave solid advice and said he'd send over a quote. Three days later, I texted to follow up--to check whether the quote had been sent or had gone to the wrong email. I never received a response. It's now been 3-4 months without any communication. Honestly, he could have reached back out to me and told me the job was too small, or that they weren't willing to take it on. Any form of return communication is always better than no communication. At this point, I'll have to take my (admittedly small) job elsewhere. I'm genuinely disappointed because I was looking forward to working with them again, but the lack of follow-up left me stuck. I wish my experience this time matched the first one, but I wanted to share an honest update for anyone considering long-term work or multiple phases.

Omero (pronounced "O-mero", not Humberto, reviewers) and Jamie (pronounced with an H, as in…read more"Hi-meh" not "Jay-me") run the best ServPro in the San Gabriel area. My home had to be cleaned of smoke and contaminants from the toxic ashes of the Eaton Fire. Contractors were overloaded with requests. Jamie responded to my request for an inspection quickly, as well as provided a thorough estimate of work, again quickly, at a fair rate compared to many who were raising prices unjustly because of the fire. Once agreed upon, they were equally fast to do the mitigation work. They had specialists remove two old asbestos pipes before other work began. Then they removed the insulation and thoroughly cleaned the attic. They are Lead certified specialists as well. Following that, they packed-out the entire home and garage and cleaned for toxins with a proprietary solvent spray and wipes. They used HEPA vacs, wiped down all walls and moved behind appliances and cleaned those as well. Finally they pressure washed the house. Omero then provided me with a Certificate of Completion. Both Omero and Jaime are good people. They are extremely considerate and kind in dealing with stressed-out and despondent customers who need to move forward. Highly recommend!!!
