Do NOT use them! Over the phone they tell you $250 to get you in the door and when they pick up your trash, they quote you $750. I feel it's super dishonest. It was not worth $750 for a pickup. I wanted to leave a good review but I found this company to be dishonest with something as small as a disposal pick up. We had reached out to these guys and they were responsive and quick. The scope of work was picking up all the curbed trash and overfilled bin trash (we were moving out) and we were specific to mention that there was a few cans of paints that need to be disposed of as well. They came and did the job, we paid over zelle since we were not there anymore, and they sent us a pic of the "completed" job. At a glance, it looked like a good job and we were happy with their promptness. However, we had to stop by the following day, and we were surprised that instead of disposing of the paint as per the agreed scope, they simply hid the paint cans behind the bin and out of view from their photo that they had sent us. Very dishonest - I can't imagine hiring a company like this to do anything more involved like demo, where they may just cover up or hide their mistake. Giving them 2 stars since they were prompt, but that is it. read more

I set up a new project and got quotes immediately through Yelp. G&S had good reviews and responded promptly, as well as 3 other companies. Overall, the prices versus G&S was competitive. G&S wasn't the lowest price but was very upfront about covering my waste disposal pickup. I just moved and it was a pain with a bunch of trash and boxes. The seller of the house filled all the recycled bins and green waste with Trash. It was annoying, and G&S helped me, and communicated with pictures. The man on the phone was very professional and helpful. When we called on 4-7-023, their minimum charge for removal from a residence was $90 regardless of size or quantity. Since we only had one small item, the dispatcher tried to see if he had another truck in the area so he could charge us less. Unfortunately, he did not, but we did not ask for a discount, he just tried to offer us one even though he could not. That is still good business practice and honest. The driver who arrived was also polite and professional. He arrived within the window the dispatcher arranged with us. The only issue we had was that we did not receive an emailed receipt, but maybe they had a typo or there was some other technical issue. We will follow up with them later to get one. We would still use them again and recommend them despite this relatively small issue. read more
