Reserved a couple days in advance. Went to pick up the car at the appointed time and was informed there would be no cars available "for an hour or so". I did not have an extra "hour or so" to wait around - I was on a schedule. I left and got my rental elsewhere and was on the road in a half hour. Unacceptable. Called the local number, for the local vernon office. Booked a car for same day. Went to local office, they had zero info on my booking, and had no idea who I talked to at THEIR number. I called their number (from yelp) and got someone in a foreign land..the local office couldnt tell me who I was talking to. They gave me the business card for manchester. I called the manchester number, and was told we have a car. Drove to the manchester office, and guess what....I'd yet again reached someone who told me a pack of lies. And I have the email to prove it. Confirmed: Enterprise Rent-A-Car Reservation 1974185810 at MANCHESTER Called out of work because they apparently don't communicate at enterprise. Do NOT call, just get a ride there and ask a real person. All their numbers to local offices end at Timbuktu, with zero comms to a car rental business. Perhaps things will get figured out tomorrow. Im out a day's pay, and not a happy camper tonight. Saturday morning update: The branch offices send their phones to central office randomly or when they dont want to answer their phones. The guy at central office blamed their computer system not being updated for the above debacle. Thennhe told me THAT A RESERVATION DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE OR WILL GET A CAR. My experience with this outfit was absolutely great. I hit a deer and was having my truck repaired nearby and my insurance suggested this company due to its proximity to the repair facility. The reservation was made quickly, and the vehicle met me at the facility exactly when I finished checking in with them. The person I talked to upgraded me to a slightly larger vehicle since I was going to be driving a group of people in my truck and needed the extra seating. It was a simple fix for me but it really was appreciated. The process was very easy, the people I talked to were very courteous, professional and helpful. I have worked in sales/customer service for 40 years plus and know a thing or two about the subject. The 2 people I talked to were clearly well trained. I will look no further than this company should I need a rental in the future. Keep up the great work! read more

Terrible experience. If you want loads of hidden fees and to be lied to over and over this is the place for you. Had a rental car for 1 day then my insurance company took over the reservation and was to pay everything from there forward. Instead they wait 3 weeks to call and tell me that the coverage I paid for for 1 day they extended for 3 weeks under my name and not my insurance and I was to pay 3 weeks of coverage that my insurance was already paying for. Terrible place please do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY! read more

Friendly staff and prompt service. I'll be in my rental for a while until my fleet car arrives, so bummed that someone smoked in the car and apparently had a bunch of baked goods in the car, because there is a faint but noticeable scent of smoke and doughnuts in the car. But like that they can pick you up and drop you off, that's a nice touch. And you can always get a live person on the phone, you're not stuck on hold for a long time when you call. read more

Jocelyn is the only reason I didn't call my lawyer when I was put in not one, but two rentals with engine trouble! All while I was pregnant and having preterm labor issues. I was very mistreated at another branch and unfortunately my spouse who is a US Navy Vet and I had to rent long term while arguing with my insurance company and the garage about our vehicle. The stress from the car troubles and lack of customer service prompted me to go to the doctor. Jocelyn put me in a great vehicle at a great rate and was the most professional and polite at every turn, she alleviated my stress while I was pregnant. I can't believe that she isn't running a Fortune 500 company because she is so stellar and straight to the point with people. The Regional manager Rob is an extremely rude and arrogant man whom almost prompted me to call my lawyer again. However you won't run into him here. Jocelyn the manager of this branch who you will see runs a great team and makes sure the rentals are all up to par. I recommend this branch as long as she is running it. read more

I rented a car and a van and they were super friendly, professional and on top of things. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Zach, a young trainee who helped had an excellent attitude. Having rented from a local Enterprise before with a good result, I went here hoping to replicate the same experience. This time, I thought renting from a place nearer from where my son was moving out will not require me to drive around in a moving van a lot. Plus this is the only location nearby that has off-hour drop-off available. I came in close to noon and the hand-off went smoothly - it was for a one-day rental, off-hour return. Pressure to buy insurance coverage was not too hard and I refused, and they let it go. I paid for the online quote (I am a rewards member), plus the $250 deposit. Honestly, I didn't mind that the van was dirty and it was only a quarter full of gas. True enough, I returned the van same day at 6PM, and thankfully, took a picture of the gauges to prove that I returned it with more gas so I will not be charged. A week later, I checked my bill only to find out that I was charged for 5 days and for 150 miles (though it was unlimited mileage)! Mind you, my actual usage was only for 65 miles. I called them up and spoke with a guy and he was telling me that they wouldn't know when I returned the van, and people tend to abuse the off-hour drop-off by returning the van a few minutes before the shop opened, blah-blah, essentially accusing me of being untrustworthy. He ended by saying that they were busy and he will call me back in the next 15 minutes. Of course he did not and so I called back again and this time I spoke with a lady. She was not difficult to deal with and gave me back my refund without much hassle. If it was not for her, this experience would have been a nightmare. Good save, lady. read more

. I was very wrong about Enterprise. They contacted me and were anxious to help me. I talked to a manager and she informed me she would fix the problem that I had. Most of the problem was on my end. I didn't read the contract close enough.They had no legal obligation to help me. It is nice to see a company that cares about the customer. In the past, I have always used Enterprise.I have never had a problem with them. I will continue to use Enterprise, if I need another rental In fact I am thinking of another rental next year. It will be a two week rental. I feel very confident that it will be a wonderful experience. , read more
