They came to help me out when the State Farm adjuster took over two weeks to come appraise my auto; it was in a horrible accident;( They cut off helping me when their coverage ended; even knowing I had no transportation;( I lost nearly two weeks dué to their lack of coming and appraising my car;( That's how they treated a senior who trusted their insurance company. zero stars!! After being hit by a tow truck, having my car in the body shop and dealing with insurance and rentals a week before Christmas...to say I was stressed...yeah. I am across the street from the Saugus location, very convenient. I called as early as 9 am to get a rental, I went through all the information and told I would be contacted. First off I thought they were dropping it off, turns out the guy was alone that day in the office and couldn't. I got a call at 3:30 asking "if I was ready?" Ready for what? we hadn't had a conversation yet on time. He asked about 4:45 then. I agreed. Now, I called at 9 in the morning and when I called I had asked for a smaller vehicle but when I went there, all they had was a huge SUV. I was at the point of tears and told him this was ridiculous and that it's been all day and the Malden location wasn't open that early when I drop my car off in the morning at the body shop. I told him this has been an absolute NIGHTMARE he said that's all he had for a car and that he was closing. So now it's dark and I'm on the side of rte 1 with a bad day and still no rental. Now I decided to do it online, you can pick the car and I can make sure I get a compact car. Instead I got a call from Jackson at the Saugus location letting me know he has no cars and if he did that he wouldn't rent to me. REALLY?? Why? if you can't deal with upset customers then you shouldn't be in the field that deals with customer. it's disgusting how I was treated and he should be FIRE. I had a great experience at this rental office. I was picked up at the auto body shop where my car was in for repairs. When I returned the car I was called by the Manager of this office, Jackson to make sure I was satisfied with the rental. He was professional and polite and concerned about my satisfaction. I had a reservation through Geico and was told to call the next day at 8AM to request pick up at 8:15AM. I called at 8:15 4 times and no one pick up. A girl called Olivia called me in a very rude way told me that the driver is there since 8AM knowing that I never got a call or a confirmation I went down and there was no driver there so I called her back to tell her and to ask if I can have his number to call him, maybe he s lost, again so rude she tells me that if I don't get down he will leave in 5 min, I'm trying to explain that I'm down and that I need to call him and she tells me that she cant give his number and that he will have to leave if I don't go there She literally indirectly accuses me of lying while I'm trying to explain myself. Anyways Olivia was very rude and didn't care of what I had to say, almost like she is doing me a favor and didn't have any time to waste w me on the phone. I've rented from Enterprise many times over the years. Recently, I needed a rental while my vehicle was in the shop for a couple days. Booking the car online was a snap. Picking up the vehicle took less than ten minutes from me walking into the rental office to driving out of the lot. Eric, one of the new mgrs, was very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the cleanliness of the car (Cadillac ATS). The windshield had been wiped down with a dirty rag--I didn't realize how bad it was until I went to drop it off a couple hours ago and had to contend with the early morning sun hitting the film on the windshield, essentially turning it into a huge sheet of waxed paper. The console around the shifter could have used a vacuuming, and the touchscreen and surrounding control buttons were covered in greasy fingerprints. All in all, not a huge deal...just a bit disappointing to find that in a vehicle from the "Luxury" class. I'll be sure to pay more attention to these types of details before leaving the lot. read more

Michael (who was at the desk and checked my rental car out and in) and Josh (who picked me up from the auto body shop and dropped me back off at the auto body shop when my own vehicle was ready for pick up) are the most attentive, intelligent, careful, and sincere rental car employees whom I have ever had the pleasure of meeting with whom I have ever had the pleasure of interacting. I only write these reviews when I have something outstanding to say about a company. And I felt compelled to write this one because my experience with Enterprise on Broadway in Saugus, MA (THROUGH Michael and Josh) was SO OUTSTANDING that I NEVER plan to use any other car rental company again-- ever. My experience was THAT fantastic. Firstly, Michael called me from Enterprises to coordinate my pick-up within 15 minutes of me reporting the accident to my insurance company. He LISTENED to me (and the things that matter to me in a car) and gave me the PERFECT rental SUV for my needs. Then, Josh (who is a snappy dresser on top of being excellent at his job, very professional, AND just a really nice guy) picked me up IN the car that I was to be renting (so that I could transfer all of my belongings from my own damaged car to my awesome new rental vehicle--a task with which Josh INSISTED on helping me-- and he even opened my car door for me, who does THAT anymore?) When we got back to Enterprise, a few minutes drive away, it was so fast and easy with Michael begins the desk to get me checked out and ready to go! Checking the rental car back in two weeks later after my own car had been repaired was JUST as easy! And once again Josh was there at 8am on the dot to take me back to the auto body shop (IN the car I had rented, once again opening and closing my car door and moving all of my belongings back into mtg own car). The whole thing was an unbelievably pleasant experience from start to finish. The funny thing is that the auto body shop I always use (I have a lot of car accidents, something I am working on!) has a Hertz in the same building. Therefore, I have always rented from Hertz in the past. But after having several lousy experiences with Hertz, I told my insurance company that I wanted to use Enterprise this time (EVEN THOUGH they were a 5 or 7 minute drive away from the auto body shop and I would have to drive back and forth). Well, I am SO GLAD I MADE THAT DECISION. The entire experience was a million times better than ANY experience I have EVER had with Hertz. And what I loved about Enterprise (and Michael and Josh) was their HONESTY about everything. Unlike the sleexy guys at Hertz, they didn't try to sell me insurance that I really didn't need, and they told me there would be a maximum $20 fee for using the toll roads in the rental car. Hertz lied about stuff and wasted my money inn the process. Enterprise, because of Michael and Josh, has gained itself a lifetime and loyal customer in me! THANK YOU, MICHAEL AND JOSH!
