    Guy with the slicked back hairdo was trying to take advantage of my family. he said that there was an "additional charge" for the car. Wanted to charge us an extra $150 a day for a premium SUV that was listed within the class. He kept saying that it was extended cab and then made an excuse and said he it was booked, but if we paid $250 a day it wouldn't be booked. he kept changing his story to get more money. Said he'd "work with us on the price" even after he said it was booked already. Guys greasy guys. Almost as bad as used car salesman. Dirty. Attached below is the total cost for 3 days. He wanted to charge us $250 for each day. Greasy guy.

    UPDATE: I'm changing the review to one star. I reached out to customer service as I was advised to do in response to the original review and that was basically pointless. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ENTERPRISE TO ANYONE, NOW WILL I EVER USE THEIR RENTAL AGENCY AGAIN. I've been sent here twice in the past year for rentals through my insurance. I've been disappointed both times with the dingy, crusty cars they've rented to me. The interiors of both vehicles have been crusty, dirty, and so worn looking - I'm wondering who could have made the cars look this badThe brakes are also squeaky! The exterior of the cars is not much better, with scratches all over, chipped paint - it's embarrassing to drive around. I can't believe anyone would actually pay money out of their own pocket to rent these hunks of junk. The only thing saving this Enterprise location from a one star rating is the employees- they have always been friendly.

My reservation was made for 12pm. We had a family member drive us AN HOUR AWAY to get our car and arrived at the location for pick up at 11:40ish and THE LOCATION WAS CLOSED. Wait what!? After calling their customer service number, I was told that the location closes at 11:45 today... WAIT WHAT!? After over an hour on the phone and 3 transfers later with Avis' general customer service, I was able to get everything squared away. FEEDBACK FOR THE PLEASANTON LOCATION- as part of your operational process-- have the courtesy to maybe review the reservation schedule for the day and CALL CUSTOMERS if your hours do not align with the pick up time that the reservation system allowed to book. Def never coming here again (we travel often too). But shoutout to Brenda from the customer service center-- she literally saved our holiday!

He mentioned that AAA would cover a midsized SUV comparable to my Acura MDX. I am happy to hear this. When it was finally time for Enterprise to pick me up to get the vehicle, I was at the agreed upon location waiting for about half an hour. At that point, I decide it's more productive to walk home (about half a mile) and have them pick me up from there so I changed my pick-up location on the app. I called Enterprise only for them to tell me that first clicking on the app is not sufficient notice and that I would have to call them personally for the pick up. Huh?! Why have an app then? Makes no sense. I finally get to the store only to find out that the Nissan Rogue reserved in the app is now a Jeep Compass. It is a nice car, but definitely not close to my Acura MDX which seats 7. However it is a fairly new ride and I was even told it had 4WD in case I wanted to go off-roading in the next couple of days. Ha! I told JR that this car is only going to ballet, piano and gymnastics. Luckily, the drop-off procedure was extremely convenient, and I was able to leave my car at the auto body shop and not have to go all the way back to Pleasanton. I got a call from someone at the office asking how the service was and the dollar amount that I was going to be charged. Everything looked good and thought that would be the end. I see that I was charged a lot more on my credit card so I gave them a call and spoke to someone else. They told me since they didn't check the vehicle in till Monday that they would charge me for 3 days not 2. I explained to them that the original rsvp was till Sunday and that I dropped the vehicle off before the scheduled drop off time. The person over the phone told me that they go by when they check in the car and asked if they can just check their cameras to see what time I dropped the car off. The person over the phone ended up charging me for 2 days but would not take off the Damage waiver for 3 days. I asked if you're only charging me for 2 days for the car why would you charge me for 3 days or Damage waiver and his response was for "liability" which made no sense. If you're dropping off on a Sunday be aware. Your reservation might show for the exact days but they might end up charging you more since they won't check the car in till Monday. If this is your policy you should let customers know. Also don't call your customer to tell them that you will charge the correct amount that should be charged and charge more

The reservation quoted $355.50 The Hertz representative charged me $447.78 I said no, my reservation 383676985 said $355.50 and my additional driver is free. So, she revised bill $391.24...crediting the $75 but adding a new $90 charge. When I returned the car I complained about the $90 charge. That charge was removed but later I realized each time they adjusted the bill they increased several of "the service fees" so the net effect of the $90 overcharge was reduced to a $15 credit with explanation given. I do not recommend using Hertz Rental, they are dishonest and cheat you. Additionally, they sent me and my Aunt out to the back of the building to search for the car in a huge very dark parking lot. It took us 20 minutes to find the car. We are both over 75 years old and this was a very scary experience for us. In our opinion, we will never choose Hertz again and we will warn our family and friends at the Senior Centers to not use Hertz. I am also going to report them to AAA.

We arrived and only had to wait a fee minutes for the rep to start the process. We had to wait 30 minutes for them to bring the car around. They don't offer water or even have a fountain available. The car was clean and comfortable. It ran fine. We were able to drop it off at the repair shop when we picked up our car.

    The reason we came to this Enterprise was because our rental car (2024 Chrysler Pacifica with 5,600…read moremiles) from LA that we received decided to break down on route to our destination. The car jerked and decided to notify me to pull over safely as the car will shut down soon, after turning the vehicle off and then turning it on. We were able to drive to the nearest Enterprise in hopes they would have a replacement. I entered and let Obi know our situation. He immediately apologized for the issue, told the whole family (7) should come inside where it was cooler (outside was ~100). He made a few calls and said the wait would be ~30 mins for a replacement. He shared some Yakult with the kids (which they loved). The replacement (same model car) came in 15 mins and after moving the car seats over we made it to our destination with no issues 40 mins later. Issues happen, but Obi handled the situation and was able to take care of us with compassion. What could have been a horrible start of a family vacation turned to just be a hiccup along the way. Thanks Obi and the Enterprise team there.
