Of course reviews are mainly left if you've had a super positive experience or negative. Unfortunately this is happening because I've had a negative experience. Normally I never had any issues with Enterprise and have been using them for rentals for years (mainly the Gardena location). Since moving, I've had to change my main Enterprise location due to proximity. The first two experiences I had were not out of this world (didn't expect it to be) and had some slightly questionable interactions (ie: me telling the staff member that i could not tell how much gas was in the car on my way back because the number kept drastically changing for the mileage so I wasn't sure of how much was really there and he did not show any concern about the vehicle's function). My third experience with location is my reason for my review. I went to this Enterprise in October 2025, did the usual transaction, packed everyone up and went on our way. After 4-5 hours without stopping, we made it to our destination and my front passenger could not get out of the car. The door appeared to be stuck? I walked around and was able to open the door from the outside only. Did we think it was annoying? Yes. Did we want to make a big deal out of it at the time? No. Unfortunately for me, I decided to just deal with the messed up door for the weekend since we were not going to use it again until we departed and tell Enterprise about it once I returned the car. Fast forward to returning the car. The staff member did her walk around the car with me and then started to walk back inside. I stopped her (once again unfortunate for me) and told her that the passenger door was having issues. She asked me if it was noticed in the inspection and I told her no because who goes into all of the doors and tests if the door will open? She told me to hold and she got her supervisor/manager. He was the person who inspected the car with me. He pointed out a "crease" on the door that honestly to this day i still could not really see and I believe that he also barely could see that we both missed in the initial inspection due to the angles and lighting. Especially since the staff member who was just helping me did not see it and was ready to walk away until I said something! I got questioned about whether I hit another car or object which did not happen at any point. I truly believe this door had not been working for awhile and I was just finally the person to point it out to them. Based on this "crease", the door would most likely still be functioning and there would have definitely been more visible damage on the outside. I knew there was no fighting with them and let a claim be filed for the front passenger door. I contacted my insurance to let them know what happened to cover my bases and did the waiting game, fully regretting that I decided to speak up about something that should have been caught by Enterprise instead of me. I'm now wondering how they do their evaluations before it gets to their customers. FAST FORWARD AGAIN to March 2026 and I get the bill from Enterprise and there are a bunch of things on the itemized list that I didn't believe would need to be involved in fixing the front passenger door (what does the front lamp have to do with the door?!?). I also noticed more closely that they had pictures in the bill of damage on the car that was never pointed out to me! So they fixed even more damage that THEY did not notice on the vehicle and I got the short end of the stick in the end. I wish I could be mad at whoever caused the damage in the first place, but I'll need to direct my anger towards Enterprise and their apparent negligence and also claiming more than they needed to. At the end of day I believe even if I pointed it out the moment I noticed it, I would have been blamed and been in this same situation. This experience has for sure solidified my decision to no longer go to this location, but now to also probably not use Enterprise again. read more

The reviews made me a bit nervous to give this place a try, but it ended up being the best place to rent a car from. I had one of the best experiences renting a car. Victoria made everything easy to understand and definitely was one of the best at customer service. She was so sweet, patient, and kind with me. I can see from a previous review that I am not the only person who had a problem here and i have to assume that it is the same person that I had to deal with today. Unfortunately I had to give a at least one start to post. They do not deserve this Star. I don't know if the young lady helping me was an assistant manager as she claimed to be or if her name was in fact Stephanie, but she was beyond rude. From the moment I walked it she was brusque. She made almost no eye contact and didn't want to leave the desk she was seated at. Rather than come to the main desk, she wanted me to walk over to her desk. This is the end of the world but certainly not good customer service. Her attitude was one of doing me a favor. The check-in process was strained. Never looking at me and the entire time seeming irritated with me. Due to the fact that I was waiting for a tow truck to get my vehicle, I asked if she had an idea how long it would take so I could give the tow company an ETA. She told me that she had to check her inventory. I asked if it would be more than a few minutes to do that, she ignored me. She did not respond. A few seconds later a couple walked in and she started helping them. This couple was not there before. I watched them pull in. After five minutes of helping them she walked outside to look at their car they had rented and I said, "excuse me, weren't you helping me before them". She turned around and in a rude tone said, "And now I am helping them." I tried to get some understanding of why she stopped helping me in favor of them and she became argumentative. I asked for her manager and she said that she was the assistant manager and she was no longer going to rent a car to me. I followed her back asked her for her card and she said she he name was "Stephanie". I asked her for her managers name and she said, "Jose". I asked for the managers last name and contact number and with a smug smile she said that she did not have to give that information to me. I have witnesses to how she spoke to me. read more

Ive had issues with this branch several times. The cars are fine, the service is not. If you call, be prepared to wait on hold, sometimes over 30 minutes. I am actually writing this review while on hold. Ive also had issues waiting in their hot lobby for 20 to 30 minutes waiting for the car to pull up after everything is already sorted out. I have to use this place again and hope the experience gets better but I'm still on hold lol and sadly was hung up on after waiting the first 20 minutes. Keep you posted. read more

Overall a good process to rent and return a car! Picked up a car on a Monday for a trip to Fresno. Pick up took about 15 minutes which is understandable as it seems the cars may be kept elsewhere. My car was clean, a thorough inspection of the car was done with me, and I had a full tank of gas. Some small downsides: pretty small location so if it gets busy, the parking lot can be more full with more people waiting. I also like how National lefts you choose your own cars. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a rental. Friendly service! read more

Stay away from this location. I had booked a rental for 04/12 and they didn't have the car when I arrived 04/11 for pick up. I was told they were going to call a day/ two days prior of the date for confirmation, yet I never received a call. The girl (I didn't get her name) at this location was very rude she didn't care to help. When I went to pick up the car they had a new hire set up the car for me and she didn't know what she was doing and had me standing on the sun waiting eventually the guy had to do it 15 minutes later. He also kept interrupting me when I was trying to ask questions with answers to questions he assumed I was gonna ask. Dropping off the car right now and there is no one in the front. Biggest waste of time, came to do a swap and was promised a smaller car that works with my insurance. Come to find out I wasted my time and gas to drive all the way down here just to sit for 30 minutes patiently and hear from this giant pos that we don't have anything for you. I specifically ordered a midsize suv and when I went to pick up my rental, they tried to give me a compact suv with the excuse that it was an "intermediate" alternative to what I had reserved. I called their BS and requested that I be given what I reserved or similar - another midsize. But they kept giving me the same excuse that I was being offered an "intermediate" option. No way! So I canceled. Then I see a couple after me arrive to pick up a car and they offered them the same two (who knows what they reserved). Looks like they they try to get away with renting out whatever car they have available as opposed to what you actually reserve online. read more

My brother and I had a reservation at 1030am. When we arrived close to 11am we were told our rental was being worked on and it would be ready in 15-20 minutes as they had to go pick up from somewhere else. When we finally got our rental the outside was rinsed off but the inside still had crumbs in the center console. Then we were told it was our fault because we weren't there on time. "Rental cars are like dinner reservations... if you are not there on time they will be given away." First time I ever heard that in my 5+ years of renting cars! Good luck renting from this location! FYI! Be aware when reserving a vehicle through their "reservation phone line ." The receptionist who answers the phone will tell you the vehicle has been reserved without knowing if there is an actual vehicle available. I had the misfortune of having to get a rental after an auto theft, and was so disappointed with the service at Hertz. They took a reservation but didn't have a car available, and said I wouldn't get one until Monday (this was Thursday) I then got transferred over to Enterprise and everything changed--the entire team here at this branch was helpful, kind, and professional. As soon as my insurance company contacted them, they gave me a call within minutes and confirmed that there will be a car waiting for me. What a difference. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! SCAMMERS!! I was sent to enterprise, after getting in an accident, by my insurance company. The car they rented me was on empty I immediately had to go to the gas station to get gas because the gas light was on. The next day someone called claiming to be my insurance company called and said my car had to be taken to a body shop in Pico. The body shop that conveniently shares a building with enterprise. After calling my Insurance company and realizing that all the information was false I picked up my vehicle from the body shop which had my car hidden in the back even though it was just dropped off my the tow company. Enterprise had all the information from my insurance company and were the only ones who could've done this. Don't trust this enterprise. There staff are trying to refer cars to the body shop to make money on the back end. THIS IS INSURANCE FRAUD!!!! read more

Today I was picked up from Eckles Auto Body Shop and taken to this location. The girl that picked up was really nice and friendly. She had earlier called me to tell me that to rent my car I would need a valid ID or driver's license and a valid major credit card or debit card but nothing was ever mentioned about the hundred dollar deposit this company makes you give before taking the car. Since I previously got in an accident State Farm is supposed to cover everything for the rental car so when the girl told me that I needed to put $100 deposit I thought it was ridiculous because I was never mentioned anything about that and she was very unprofessional and told me you have to put $100 you have to put $100 you have to hundred dollars I ended up paying 30. So I don't know if she broke the rules. After that she made look around the car for scratches and defects? Like that's part of her job not mine. Anyways I got the ugliest car to take home. After getting kicked out the Long Beach location, or as someone would say Wrong Beach because I didnt have a credit card, only a debit card (they are afraid you wont return the rental), they wouldn't allow an added driver (rental wasn't for me).. then going to Cerritos, and being told I dont live in the area and that I didn't have a utility bill, I can't rent from them, is it my fault everything is electronic? That I would have to go to a branch where I loved, WTF?! Since when was Pico Rivera (address on my license) was far from Cerritos. They didn't even take my cable bill, the ONE paperbill I get... I decided to drive to Pico Rivera location to get a rental car for my friend (my license still reflects that address) No PROBLEMS at all! Well. The guys are nice. Friendly except when I look at them pissed for having to wait 40+ minutes. 8 AM I called and was told by David they'll pick me up in 20 minutes. Cool, I got everything ready and waited. 8:25 AM I call and was informed by Joseph (JOSEP!) they're on their way to pick me up. 8:30 AM I got a call from David telling me he's gonna be 10 minutes late. I called Joseph back asking him to get the car ready because the last time I rented one, they also picked me up late and the car wasn't even washed when I got there! 8:45 AM After unanswered calls to David, I saw this big black pick up pull up. By this time, I was ready to throw a tantrum so don't even try to make small talk with me, bud. 8:50 AM I walked in and was ready to go. Give me the paper work, I'll sign, let's go! Rawr!!!! 9:00 AM Racing to work. Out of my way! Female Asian (emotionally unstable) driver coming through. 9:10 AM Late for work with an unhappy tech and patient waiting at the front door for me to open. I was told they're always busy on Fridays and their driver starts at 9 AM. If they know they're always busy on this particular day, doesn't it make sense to have the driver work earlier? So I just crashed my car and had to come here to get rental through insurance(if I had a choice I def would have went somewhere different)! The assistant manager was a doll, willing to help me with my needs and worked with my insurance. Now, the rep frachesca i think it was, was def someone i didn't have time to deal with so early in the am. her look itself describes miserable, and watching her on calls she was rude to them and texing the whole time. blah she almost had my insurance ruin something I have worked out with them because her rude A$$ was not understanding the urgency of the issue . I was as lost as a mouse in a maze. Was trying to find the Whittier Presbyterian Hospital but Google Maps led me astray. So disappointed in Google maps. Um, yeah, anyways.. So I turned into the plaza and saw this Enterprise. I figured they would have computers / a way to check directions. I went in and they were super swamped. There were lots of phone calls coming in and there were two customers being helped. I noticed that both the girl and guy there were being incredibly patient and nice to all the customers they were helping. There was a billing issue, and two reservations on the phone and one other customer asking about misc. issues. I waited around to ask just because I was interested in seeing how they could handle such a rush of customers. When the lady finished assisting the customer with the billing issue, she made sure to ask them if they were satisfied and if there was anything else she could do. Good customer service! I also overheard the customer on the phone ask for prices: the guy noted that economy cars are 29.99 per day. Not bad at all.. I know of their loyalty program, but I didn't hear them pressing customers to get it either. I really approved of that. When I told them I was really lost, Mike offered to help right away. He pulled out his phone and personally looked up directions. He was all smiles, and both of them seemed very professional and courteous. It also helped that he was a cutie. THANK YOU MIKE! read more

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Yesterday I turned in a 2018 Chevy Silverado and asked one of the girls if she can give me a ride back to Eckles Auto in Whittier. Anyway, I don't want to mention her name, but she was super nice and OMG beautiful!! She had an exotic name...I'll never forget it . Today my daughter goes in to rent a vehicle and they are telling her they won't rent her a car because she has a balance. They gave her a phone number to call fish, to see what it is. WOW, now that's Customer Service for you!!! If you are telling me you won't rent me a car, because of a balance and I'm telling you I didn't rent a car with the year you show I have a balance for, Then YOU CALL.
