I wait in line and as soon as I get up to the front, I give them my last name and they tell me that the car that I had online saved was not there. They told me that they left me a voicemail saying that they didn't have it still never got anything so now I'm fucked and I don't know what to do for my trip tomorrow they also never gave me any solutions on what I could do. with a lot full of small SUV's, you're manager in training told the rep to make me wait until there was a mid size available. You had several mid-size vehicle rentals that day and I was the only one that had to wait because I chose to be the first one there. I have constant back issue and climbing down into a car is not optimal. That being said, the vehicle they gave me had a chip in the windshield in my line of sight and the cover for the rear-view mirror fell down causing a obstruction of my view. I had to go 30 minutes out of my way to exchange the vehicle and the only thing they next enterprise had available was a mini van, not conducive to my line of work. I then had to drive another hour out of my way to exchange the original vehicle at yet another location. They only had the same model available. This made my travel plans to visit key business locations impossible and cost me an entire work day. I called customer care to request a transfer (prior to reaching the 3rd location) and it was never done, costing me more time from work. I called customer care and requested the area manager call me. They stated it would take 24 hours. I've never receive that follow-up call and its been a week. Is this the way you treat all of your customers?? If this is the case, I will pass it along to my corporate office so they have the opportunity to rethink doing business with your company in the future. I am just one person but if this how you treat corporate renters, maybe the relationship needs to be rethought. On a side note, a previous time I had an issue (same manger in training) customer care gave me 5 free upgrades. What they didn't tell me is that this only works at National, not Enterprise Which is owned by National. The nearest National yard to me is 45 miles away. How does this help me? I would have to take ride share to get there which would cost more than the upgrade. Not very productive on your part nor customer centered. read more

Dropped my rental here after spending all day trying to find a replacement vehicle for our totaled family vehicle. We rolled up at literally 4:55 and the young lady I worked with was just as kind and accommodating as if I'd rolled up mid morning and she hadn't been harried by multitudes of other customers yet. Just sweet as sugar, lovely! However, we took off and, when we stopped for water, I realized I'd left my laptop in the rental. We frantically drove back while calling and leaving voicemails asking for a callback. We arrived to see one lone employee closing everything down, and I will be forever grateful to Aaron for still being there and unlocking the rental for me so I could get my laptop back! We live 3 hours away and it would have been a literal logistical nightmare to get it back otherwise. Aaron and this location are highly recommended by me and my family! Reserved a vehicle and went through the process checked car which by the had dents in it. So that was a not good. And in my opinion I think your company needs to change your policy about using bank Visa cards. At the end of all that I couldn't even rent a car because I'm from another state and couldn't use my visa bank card. In my opinion this company needs that change that process. This is a two part review. Part 1 - the car was fine ( Nissan Maxima) and I got an upgrade because the class I rented wasn't available, customer service was really good, no issues picking up and dropping off. For that 5 stars. Part 2 - warning, currently if you prepay for gas at $4.25, which isn't too bad, they charge for a full tank as listed by the manufacturer, which in this case is 18 gallons. So I used about 14 gallons out of an 18 gallon tank. The car tells you you're out at about the 14 gallon mark. Most people fill when the car tells them to. So, I got charged for 4 gallons I didn't use. Not that big of a deal as it's worth something to not deal with it. But, be warned the $4.25/gal is NOT based on what you use but the theoretical full tank. 5 stars for the rental part and car, minus one for not explaining the charge for the gas. I recently rented a vehicle from this location. I was greeted by Mr. Fulford, Assistant Manager, the day before my rental. Mr. Fulford thoroughly explain to me the rental agreement and informed the various vehicles he had available and the cost. Mr. Fulford informed me the vehicle I selected would be ready when I arrived. The next day, when I arrived my vehicle was ready as promised. I was out driving under 10 minutes. When I returned, I was checked out again in less 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this place when considering a car rental and if you are fortunate contact Mr. Fulford. read more

This will be another updated review. I once had a 1-star review in which I mistakenly changed to a 5-star review. I'm now going back down to 1 Star. That's how bad this location is. I rented two cars from Hanford Enterprise over the course of about a month. One for a weekend and another for a whole week. Both experiences were awful. In a nutshell, this is how both experiences went: 1) You are often greeted by NO ONE at this location when you walk in. Four or five computers up front and not one employee. They are horribly understaffed, and those who are staffed are just bad at their jobs. 2) From walking up to the counter to being finally put into a car takes about 40 minutes. Which I guess wouldn't be as bad except for the fact, that, as I already mentioned -- this is usually done by only one employee. So you essentially have to wait for another customer to be completely checked in before you're even seen by an employee. 3) They NEVER have the car you reserved in stock. Which typically means a free upgrade, which wouldn't be a problem, except... 4) Now on two occasions, they've given me an "upgrade" and tried to upcharge me as well. As the customer, I shouldn't have to tell the employee that they have to give me the quoted price for the car I reserved even if I receive an upgrade. This has now happened to me twice. I've told this to friends and family members who rent from Enterprises from other cities and they all came to the same conclusion -- Hanford Enterprise is running a scam. How can they not give me my reservation price? And why am I having to tell them what protocol is? 5) If you are simply dropping off a car, be prepared to wait as long as if you were renting one. They used to have a printed sign at the counter that designated a specific line for dropping off. But once again, with only one (sometimes 2) employees dealing with all the customers, no one can handle someone dropping off a car and the sign has since been removed. The staff here is downright unprofessional. If you're lucky, you'll even be helped by the guy smacking on gum for the duration of your time here. Not sure when I will be renting a car again, but I'm not sure where I'll go at that point. Pretty sad that I have had so many bad experiences here. read more

It's Memorial Day. An employee for Enterprise has been moving cars to the Lowe's parking lot. We saw her while going into the store, and we saw her in another vehicle while we were leaving. I'm sure Enterprise and Lowe's have an agreement for this. No big deal. EXCEPT she is driving recklessly, too fast, whipping around corners and almost hit my husband and 7yo son. Thank goodness my two year old daughter and me (at 31 weeks pregnant!!) were already in our vehicle. Absolutely 100% unacceptable. We are always careful in parking lots, but don't expect a car to go out of their way to cause trouble. I expect an apology from this employee, you'll know who she is, and her to have some re-training because no time limit is worth someone's life!! Shame on you!! read more

My enterprise experience has inspired me to write me first ever Yelp review. Our bad experience started with us picking up our reserved full size that only had a quarter of a tank of gas (?!). We noted it had slightly low tire pressure too and foolishly ignored that. Many hours into our road trip we realized that was bc there was a screw in the tire. See photo. When I called MANY enterprise locations (Paso Robles, Atascadero, SLO, Fresno) for help, I had a terrible experience with Sanaya from the Hanford Ca enterprise. For some reason she acted annoyed by my call. Became very annoyed when I tried to confirm there would be another full size vehicle set aside for us when we got there after driving 1.5 hours out of our way. She said I would need to make another reservation to do that. She ended the conversation by hanging up on me when I asked for her name. read more

I made a last minute rental for this location for a family emergency. When I called to see if my reservation had come through, a man answered and confirmed that it was there and they had a car, then offered to pick me up from my house! Not 5 minutes later I was picked up from my house by Damien, who was great, and he brought me to the store. From there, Casey was there waiting for me to pay and check me into a car. He gave me a brand new 2020 Toyota Corolla. Enterprise has always had nice cars, but this was awesome! It was ready for me as soon as finished paying. He made this process quick and easy and was funny. When I came back to return the car, my man Casey was the one who helped me out again and I returned the car to him. From there, a nice young lady Talia, gave me a ride home. Overall, they were great and made my family emergency that much easier and worry free because I had a way to get around. It's been 2 years since my last review and my review still stands. Vehicles are still constantly dirty with no attempt to be cleaned. Rotten food under seats, sticky car handles, ripped upholstery and worst of all- when you go to pick up your vehicle they still make you wait in order for them to "clean it". It's NEVER clean. They most likely just go talk for 10 minutes in the back. Super unprofessional. I'm so glad I bought a new car so my family will never have to rely on this rental car place to go on far trips ever again. I also STRONGLY recommend our military service members never use their service as well. Had friends that rented a car and drove it on base. They noticed it had a weird smell and realized when they got home there was a CRACK PIPE UNDER THE SEAT. Do you have any idea HOW MUCH TROUBLE they could have gotten into if their vehicle had been searched for any reason!? If that doesn't prove they don't clean their vehicles- idk what will! read more

Do not rent from this location. I reserved a suv online and it was available. After a week from the reservation I went to pick it up and they just said I lost my reservation because I didn't call them to verified it and let them know I want it. So if you are looking for some rental don't just reserve it online, it doesn't work for them. Try to call them instead or reserved from some place else. read more

The customer service is good. I admit started to lose my patience because I had a car reserve a month in advance, but I still had to wait an hour and a half for my car upon pick up. Erika demonstrated excellent customer service on behalf of Enterprise and I was impressed on how she handled it. Thanks, Erika With that said, I would have loved to give them a five star review if not for the reservation and wait time. I do recommend that they implement a new policy in which if a person reserves a car, enterprise will place a hold on that vehicle for 1 at least an hour. If the person doesn't pick it up within that hour, then you lose that reservation and would have to wait for the next available vehicle that day. That way folks like me wouldn't have to wait an hour and half for something I already placed a hold on. There is nothing more frustrating on placing a reservation a month in advance and then having to wait. I admit I was late in picking up the car, but I did call in advance to let them know. I was under the impression that there would be a car on hold for me but was frustrated that I still had to wait. If this new policy were implemented, the person who had the reservation would be notified of that 1 hour hold time. This way everyone is happy. I sat there for an hour and a half and I noticed the work flow and the frustrations of the customers and the staff and how things worked and asked myself why they don't have a policy like this in place.. Anyway, I want to thank the folks down in enterprise for the rental. The Jetta had great gas milage. read more

Making us pay for a scratch that we never did, I even remember you showing it to us but you guys didn't annotate it when we took the slip. Now we have to pay for something we didn't do. If I could give this location a 0/5 I would. I called this location today to inquire about a charge to my debit card without my authorization. The first associate I spoke to stated, "They went ahead and charged my card for a few extra days because my insurance extended my rental dates." Not only did the associate admit to not calling me for authorization, but they passed me off to the manager. The manager was extremely rude to me concerning my concerns about an unauthorized charge. I had paid for over 17 days of rental fees and would have been cleared to drive for 10 more days before them needing to charge me an additional two days of service WITH my authorization. The manager had purposefully hung up on me, and this resulted in me needing to call back. I was then speaking to a new associate and they once again passed off the phone to the manager. The manager stated," I am not sure why you hung up on me. Because you most definitely did and I did not hang up on you." I was in utter disbelief at how rude and malicious this manager was with me. I began to repeat my concerns, respectfully, and he didn't want to listen to me complain and ended the call. I made a complaint to Corporate and I hope this man will no longer be representing Enterprise knowing the shady unauthorized charges and his disgusting behavior toward an innocent customer. I had the pleasure of dealing with Matt who was patient, kind and accommodating. He drove to Lemoore at the end of the day so he could give me a ride after I dropped my vehicle off for repair. I am new to the area and went the wrong way which kept Matt patiently waiting for quite a while, almost an hour. He then started back to his Hanford office and immediately turned around to accommodate my poor sense of direction and lack of time management skills. He was very kind must've been annoyed though he showed no signs of being anything but happy to be of service. Matt also set me up in a rental earlier today. Throughout the process he was incredibly patient and professional. If all Enterprise employees show even a small fraction of the impeccable customer service that Matt provided then they are quite blessed. His customer service skills are exquisite and his level of professionalism is top notch. Enterprise is quite fortunate to have such an excellent employee representing them. read more

Had a reservation for 12:00 (noon) on a Saturday. Called Friday for the confirmation, the young man who answered the phone said "Great, see you at 12 tomorrow." Arrived at 11:55, door was locked. An employee was getting into a car in the parking lot that looked like the car I was supposed to be renting, totally ignored us. I banged on the door and after 5 minutes the same young man who had moved the car from the parking lot came to the door and said "We're closed". When I told him I had a reservation for noon, he said in a very sarcastic way that I should have been there earlier, as his system was already shut down. When I asked if I could still get the car, he said no, it's already been returned. (Mind you, this was at 12:05). I told him noone had said to be there earlier, and this ****** had the nerve to say "No, you're lying, that's not true". My last two words to him were not very nice, I'll admit, but when he started laughing that really put me over the top. NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I didn't get his name, but he was a young white man with reddish-blonde hair and a wanna-be mustache! We ended up having to go all the way to Fresno, got great customer service and an even better deal at Budget! When you have an appointment time, that should be the time! Terrible customer service, and when I tried to contact corporate, they told me someone would contact me. It's been a week and no contact! Screw Enterprise, especially in Hanford, CA!!!! This was by far the best rental experience I have had so far (with any company). The employee, Casey, literally helped me through every part of my rental. He not only picked me up from my house and helped me load my luggage into the car, but when we got to their office he helped me unload everything and bring it all in. After he got all of my information and payment, he cleaned the car I was getting into. THEN he helped me load all of my stuff into the rental and explained what to expect when I drop the car back off. This young man was very personable, respectful, and helpful, and I hope the top dogs at Enterprise see this review. When I dropped my car off, William was great as well because he was quick for me while I was in a hurry. I look forward to renting again from this location. read more

First time renting a car in my life and booked it online, did a quick inspection when I got there, gave them my credit card information and was out of there in 15 minutes tops. Returning the car was just as easy. Quick inspection and they were even kind enough to give me a ride to the dealership to pick up my car. The people at this location are rotten. I had a business trip to the Hanford area and took Amtrak. Had meetings etc. in Hanford and Visalia and had to have a rental car. As bad luck would have it there was one delay after another on the train down to Hanford. My scheduled 5:15 pm arrival turned in to 5:59 pm. This place closes at 6. I called them and told them of my delayed arrival. They were like "if you make it here by 6 you're good",, wow thanks. I walked up at 6:04. This place is right across from the Amtrak station. They saw the train and they saw me walk up to the door. I could see them as they quickly exited out the back. I get it people want to go home but that was just mean spirited. This company's ad campaign over promises. They do not go out of their way for you and they don't care. I had to go to tremendous expense and take cabs (few and far between and no uber). Never again. avoid these sh*t heads. read more

Military members beware: Drugs found in vehicle we rented- This is a disgusting roach infested location, unprofessional employees and a incompetent manager named Tyler. Homeless people hangout side the location, i found a dead roach in the bathroom and the back room is filthy. I asked the manager if anyone had smoked in the car and he said no. The car was filthy with had ash and stains all over the seat. I found MARIJUNA in the vehicle. My husband is military and we live on base in Lemoore. Thank god i found it in the vehicle while we were at the repair shop and not once we were on base. This lack of attention of detail could have that could hav ended or inhibited my husbands career. We had to call the police and the whole ordeal took 5 hrs. At that point it was too short of notice to get another car from a different company so we had to cancel our vehicle repairs. I left the car at the repair shop and had them pick it up. I did not even want another one. I will NEVER rent from them again. I urge anyone who rents a vehicle to not only go around the outside of the vehicle and take pictures but also throughly inspect the inside to make sure nothing was left behind. read more
