Where are all the employees? This is what the front desk looks like on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON, probably one of their busiest times.

This will be another updated review. I once had a 1-star review in which I mistakenly changed to a 5-star review. I'm now going back down to 1 Star. That's how bad this location is. I rented two cars from Hanford Enterprise over the course of about a month. One for a weekend and another for a whole week. Both experiences were awful. In a nutshell, this is how both experiences went: 1) You are often greeted by NO ONE at this location when you walk in. Four or five computers up front and not one employee. They are horribly understaffed, and those who are staffed are just bad at their jobs. 2) From walking up to the counter to being finally put into a car takes about 40 minutes. Which I guess wouldn't be as bad except for the fact, that, as I already mentioned -- this is usually done by only one employee. So you essentially have to wait for another customer to be completely checked in before you're even seen by an employee. 3) They NEVER have the car you reserved in stock. Which typically means a free upgrade, which wouldn't be a problem, except... 4) Now on two occasions, they've given me an "upgrade" and tried to upcharge me as well. As the customer, I shouldn't have to tell the employee that they have to give me the quoted price for the car I reserved even if I receive an upgrade. This has now happened to me twice. I've told this to friends and family members who rent from Enterprises from other cities and they all came to the same conclusion -- Hanford Enterprise is running a scam. How can they not give me my reservation price? And why am I having to tell them what protocol is? 5) If you are simply dropping off a car, be prepared to wait as long as if you were renting one. They used to have a printed sign at the counter that designated a specific line for dropping off. But once again, with only one (sometimes 2) employees dealing with all the customers, no one can handle someone dropping off a car and the sign has since been removed. The staff here is downright unprofessional. If you're lucky, you'll even be helped by the guy smacking on gum for the duration of your time here. Not sure when I will be renting a car again, but I'm not sure where I'll go at that point. Pretty sad that I have had so many bad experiences here.

My enterprise experience has inspired me to write me first ever Yelp review. Our bad experience started with us picking up our reserved full size that only had a quarter of a tank of gas (?!). We noted it had slightly low tire pressure too and foolishly ignored that. Many hours into our road trip we realized that was bc there was a screw in the tire. See photo. When I called MANY enterprise locations (Paso Robles, Atascadero, SLO, Fresno) for help, I had a terrible experience with Sanaya from the Hanford Ca enterprise. For some reason she acted annoyed by my call. Became very annoyed when I tried to confirm there would be another full size vehicle set aside for us when we got there after driving 1.5 hours out of our way. She said I would need to make another reservation to do that. She ended the conversation by hanging up on me when I asked for her name.

Their customer service is genuine, phenomenal, friendly, go far beyond. The best Enterprise I've ever rented off.
