The park is infested with cats with cat poop everywhere!!!! The person working in the office told me that once the people leave in a nice shady site I could move after they leave but had to talk with manager the next day. But found out once you pay for the whole week you cannot move to a different site !!! Campground is mostly taken by permanent residents. There are a lot of cars parked on street which makes it difficult if you have a larger rig. There are tons of stray cats everywhere. Difficult for those with cat allergies. The campground is away from most places. We stayed here while we visited Sequoia National Park. read more

This place is amazing! Easily open and close for years so quiet, most people here are permanent. If you guess overnight, we've been here for a few months now. The staff here is amazing! We stayed here on our travels up to Yosemite and it worked but if I be a choice I would probably choose somewhere else. It was clean and check in was fairly easy. They had a lot of COVID forms to sign, which is understandable. You are extremely close to your neighbors here and it is basically just a parking space with hookups. There are also some very loud residents. I was listening to a very loud argument at 2 in the morning as I was nursing my baby. Again, it was a place to park, but there's got to be better options out there. read more

I am originally from this area of Tulare. Actually from Corcoran then moved to Florida the end of last year. So I'm out here in California again for 2 1/2 weeks visiting family and needed somewhere to park my 45 ft diesel pusher and what better place than Sun & Fun RV Park! It is a nice quiet, clean and affordable place to stay. It is in a good location not in the middle of a city but located on the outskirts of town. Great access to it from the state route that is literally feet away from the park itself. Easy getting into and out of the site. Railroad track border the west side of the property but you can't really hear the trains when they pass by. I will always stay and recommend Sun & Fun RV Park to everyone and every time I'm in the area. Great customer service and friendly employees at the front desk. Groundskeepers do a great job of lawn care and blowing off the roads and driveways. Highly recommend and five star rating from me. read more

Stay here one night arrived very late the office was already closed. I walked up to the office a very nice lady approached me and gave me an envelope and said don't worry you can pay tomorrow morning. She also showed me what spot I could parking in. I used the laundry facility it was very clean. Our spot was very clean full hookups including Wi-Fi. It's very convenient right off the freeway and they also have 2 small dog areas fenced in. We were in spot #2. Checkin was remote with no one in the office. Mike called shortly after set up and followed up with us. Very friendly and helpful. Spaces are close together but the cement pads are nice and level. Looks like the park is kept clean and orderly. read more

As many others have said this is an OK place to stay along the road. They don't bill themselves as anything more special than that but it is dependable. Concrete pads and paved roads no weeds decent restrooms. Park is not large so call ahead. A drawback for some people will be train tracks very nearby though that does not bother me. Called ahead they said just pick a spot off the list - they were highlighted the ones available so #2 was a nice spot - there is a car parked in #2 called them back and they said #2 isn't available- why the heck is it on the list???? Stayed one night on the way down to SoCal. We always stay at River Run in Bakersfield but thought we'd try something new. We will not be returning here again and instead just continue going to Bakersfield. 99% of the residents seemed to live there or stay long-term. There were only four spots to one side of the park for overnighters. Spaces were super close together and it is an overall small park. There are railroad tracks right by it so we constantly heard train horns. There were a lot of kids running around that seemed to live there and at one point, came banging on our door to see if we had any jobs they could do to get money. We also saw very young kids walking a dog by themselves and not picking up after it when it went potty. We weren't given any wifi info even though the paper said we should have been given instructions. There was also no notification that there is a small fee to use credit and debit cards for reservation payment. It was not an enjoyable environment to be able to sit outside so we just stayed in the camper the whole time and left early the next morning. read more

A great little place just stop and rest on your layover it's not very big but it is very clean and there's a cute little play area and small pool in the front. there have been a few reviews complaining about the trains yes the trains go by but if you are in your rig with the air conditioning going and or a fan you can't hear them. read more

We have stayed here from time to time over more than ten years. This isn't a "destination" RV park; it is a place you stop for the night en route to someplace else. You can't check in online, and the office is only open till 5. They'll ask you to deposit a check in the drop box if you arrive later than that. The amenities are nothing special and haven't changed in all the years we've passed through. The park is close to the highway and train tracks so there's noise all night. Feral cats and kittens abound here - as in, dozens of them, everywhere. You'll find them under your vehicle, running through the bushes, they jump out of the trash bin at you, etc. so if you have a dog that chases cats, good luck. There are permanent residents of the hillbilly confederate flag type, so some pretty junky trailer trash live here. And summers? Think unbearably hot, lots of flies, and constant smell of cow poop (this is the Central Valley, after all). But for just passing through, it's ok for a night... read more

Not planning to return here unless I'm exhausted. The train whistle blows all the time! The spots are tiny. TINY!! Pretty pricy for a 2-foot strip of dead grass and a too-small parking space with hook-ups. It is okay for a 1 night stop-over, but I'll bring ear plugs next time because the train makes sleeping almost impossible. read more

Trains, trains and more trains! Lots of train whistles all night long. Ugh! I wish I had seen the previous review before staying. If it wasn't for the trains I would have given it a 3 star rating. That being said, the park is very well kept and the people at the front office were very nice. I think the staff should be giving out free ear plugs to anyone who stays here. The park is easy to get to from 99. They don't have any pull through spaces, so if you're pulling a trailer or tow car you'll have to disconnect. read more

The front desk guy Al was awesome - we had a blowout and he drew us a map to find the best local tire store, good guy! Yes, the spaces are small and yes, you can hear the trains. Lots are close together. Not enough room to conveniently park your truck in front of your RV ( had to park crossways in front ). Wasn't sure of my plans when I arrived - wasn't allowed to extend my stay to a weekly rate after initially signing in - so left to go to another location in the area. This RV Park is very nice and I would definitely stay here again. We rolled in very late and finding a spot was easy because they have a list for late arrivals. We got our Good Sam discount and left the money per the instructions. When we paid the next morning it was for the remainder of a week and they adjusted it to add the money from the first night as part of that weekly rate, most other places wouldn't have done that because they are all about the money. These people treat this as their home, which it is, and they treat their guests as such. No one bothers you and the later check out time of noon makes it nicer for people like us who are night owls. The trains run through for about 15 minutes at a time but this is an agricultural area so that is to be expected. The crops have to get to other corners of the United States and further somehow, don't they? It is awesome to watch the trains roll through, we love to watch them. Some people seem to have lost the child inside of themselves but, rediscovering the world is what makes traveling in an RV fun in the first place! In the grand scale of things this place is clean, convenient and affordable. I only gave it 4 stars because I feel like we can always make improvements and 5 stars would indicate perfection with no room for improvement so I don't want to stunt their growth. read more
