After going through the trauma of losing our home and almost all of our belonging (only clothes we…read morewere wearing and what few things were in our cars) and then having to deal with a dishonest abatement contractor who tries to take advantage of you, Valley Restoration Services was a refreshing experience. We first started with a different general contractor who didn't have a full crew and progress was slow and we were always hindered by sub contractors not showing up when they were supposed to. Given that the job started off with weeks of delays the insurance wanted us to switch contractors. I am really glad that I found Valley Restoration Services. It was just 9 weeks ago that the crew from Valley Restoration showed to start working on my house, and all that we had was an unlevel foundation and subfloor, no walls. Now we are nearing completion, we just need flooring, cabinets counter tops and fixtures installed and we'll be done. The majority of the work is done in house and the staff tradesman are great, very caring and compassionate and they do a great job and take pride in their work, they have redone stuff without being asked because it wasn't perfect, a refreshing experience compared to other contractors who say it's good enough, or sorry we you can't get perfection. When they had to use sub contractors, they were responsive and did top notch work, and haven't had any construction delays with Valley Restoration Services (city delays were a different story, months and months of delay at the city) Given that it took the city longer than 6 months to give us a building permit, and the delays the first contractor ran into with the foundation, we thought that it was going to at least 6 months but more like 8 months to compete the repairs. Now it is looking like we'll be done 3 months, an amazing pace. For anyone who knows the pain first hand of losing your home, it is important for the healing and rebuilding process to have a great contractor. Not only is Valley Restoration Services, a great contractor, they know how to deal with your insurance adjuster and get the money needed to rebuild what you had before. As an added benefit, when you want to upgrade from what you had before, their prices are incredibly reasonable. I was shocked at how affordable some upgrades were such as getting custom cabinets (instead of semi custom) and upgraded stone veneer on the front of the home. If you're looking for a contractor to rebuild your home that was destroyed, I highly recommend Marcello and the team at Valley Restoration Services!

On 10/19/23, I paid $5,500 for an 80' double wood slat fence in my rear yard. The slats were…read moreinstalled with staples instead of nails or screws. A couple of months later, the slats began to warp, twist, and pop off the studs. I called, and three slats were replaced. Additional slats have warped. I have called several times and was told they were busy and would get back to us as soon as they could. No show. Now, when I call, all I get is voicemail. I have concluded that inferior wood (green) wood was used, and staples are not a viable method to use to affix slats to the fence. DO NOT USE.

I did call a couple days later but I can't recall if I left a voicemail so it's possible he didn't return the call because I may not have left an VM identifying myself as a customer. His quick response here makes me believe this is just a strange circumstance issue where something got lost in the internet/phone world. I appreciate his quick response and courtesy despite receiving an initially negative review, perhaps we will get another chance to work together in the future. Used their contact form on their website to send a message on Oct. 29th because I was looking to have some irrigation work done around my house. Called and left a message 2 days later and still haven't received an email or callback from them. Not sure what happened, maybe they are overly busy or just weren't interested, either way it's disappointing to reach out to a business looking to get some work done and not even get a response.
